I have no idea where these 1 stars are coming from. Been coming here for years and have never had a bad meal before. I’m gluten-free and they know exactly what I can and can not eat. Super good food and big portions, I’d give it 6 stars if I could.

Update: Upping rating to 4 stars (from 1). After a very pleasant email exchange back and forth with customer service they have provided me with a $15 e-gift card for the error. Much appreciated Thai Express, thank you - and next time I will check the box BEFORE I leave with my food :-)
Original Review: Ordered Pad Thai for lunch today, in person, at the counter, said NO MEAT. I take it back to the office, open it up and it's full of chicken. . . I'm vegetarian, $15 wasted and I still have no lunch. HUGE DISSAPOINTMENT!!

The food is delicious I really like the customer service. Everyone is welcoming and happy to accept any customisations I request in my food. I feel like any language barriers don't hurdle in the service they provide and quality they deliver. So many times I have ordered close to closing and they happily accept the order which is the best part and lacks in so many places.

My second time trying Thai Express, don’t think I’ll be back. Not enough sauce or flavour, the rice at the bottom by the time I got to it was dry and gummy with zero taste.

I got general tao, the rice was mushy, the chicken was double deep fried, it was the worst! It seems like they used last nights leftovers to cut costs. This is the grosses thai express in winnipeg, the workers in the evening are lazy and they do not seem to care. I threw it out immediately. AVOID EATING HERE.

Ordered the General Thai and the vegetables were not fresh and the rice was cold. The food tasted a day old leftover. Waste of money. I don't think I'll be back.

The food is not fresh. We order one beef and tofu fried rice and one beef and tofu pad sew. But they gave me chicken and tofu fried rice. On the other hand, the beef and chicken have a bad smelling and taste. Also the vegetable in these two are less than other thai express. Finally I had diarrhoea after I ate it.

I always got the Tom Tom soup, and it has gone downhill. I ordered it this time with tofu. The tofu was tough and disgusting. The vegetables were almost none existent. And I had to tell them to double up on everything.<br/>Think I won't go back there...

i always get the shrimp Pad Thai and honestly its been okay in the past. Recently though theyve stopped caring. the shrimp is always terribly overdone. Chewy and dry with the tails on ( a real pain in the ass) The noodles are over done and the sauce is so boring. Even the lime and peanuts cant fix a mess like that.Super disapointed.

Had the General Curry and chicken Tim Yum soup. It was really good. The soup was better than the curry but both were awesome. My wife ordered the shrimp pad see which was awesome but it would be nice if they detailed the shrimp. All in all a great food court spot. Liked Koya a bit more tho.

For mall food it's really not that bad. Better than the usual fries and burgers that one would order.

I was sooo disappointed today . Ordered vegee soup . No spice , four small peices of broccoli , little noodle . Over $9.00 for bowl of hot water . It was never like that when they opened.

I had the Green Curry with Shrimp. They boiled the shrimp and it tastes like rubber. Really disappointed with the taste! Very gross!

Dont like the soups. I don't like that they cook the meat for the soups by just boiling them in water. The meat then becomes tasteless and chewy, even after they add chicken broth, noodles, and hot sauce. Why don't they stir fry the meat with garlic or something?

It's a quick fix... and mall food.... It's my first choice in St. Vital mall for a treat. It IS mall food but it has also beaten out a couple of actual restaurants that have the audacity to call themselves Thai. The people are friendly and if you remember that you're in a food court, you won't be disappointed.<br/><br/>Enjoy!

Very Tasty. I had the Cashew Nut stirfry with vegetables. Hearty portion, very delicious. As a vegetarian, my one problem with Thai Express would be instead of vegetables, they should offer tofu as an alternative to meat topping. That, and brown rice.
