Omg! The food is fantastic at Samosa Hut. I ordered the Chicken Roti and it was perfect! Every bite was heaven. The owners are really great!!
Samosa Hut is an Indian restaurant located in Cityplace mall. It’s located just before the spot where the skywalk connects Cityplace across St. Mary avenue. This location has long been my favourite in the food court. Prior to Samosa Hut being there the space held a Greek restaurant whose name I can’t remember, but made a really great Avgolemono soup among other items.
This is my favourite place to eat. I look forward to the friendly service every day. I would recommend you stop by and say hi to Pam. Tell her Brandi sent her.
BEST INDIAN FOOD EVER. I had butter chicken and it was divine. Now I come here everyday. The food is always fresh and full of taste. I will recommend everyone to please taste the food once. I bet you will love it. Their palak Paneer and Veggie Korma are also very good.
Awesome and fresh food always. I have been to this restaurant several times almost everyday. The food here is always fresh and tasty. Service is also very good and fast. Staff is also very good and cooperative. I will recommend this to everyone because the food is not that spicy. Everyone should at least try it once. Prices are also very low.
Great East Indian food !. It is nice to have great East Indian food deliver daily to my doorsteps , it is good quality & variety every day , less oily , owners are very nice people ,they do cater to your specific needs, as I like vegetarian food ,it's a delight every day of not missing home food for the person like me who is away from home .
Would recommend for consistent good food that is home delivered to anyone who likes East Indian cuisine.

Easy Access to Samosas!. I hate traveling by bus just to get the samosas my friends normally buy. My first time was a good experience with eating at City Place. I never knew there was a McDonald's in City Place since I don't really get around downtown. I've been to Winnipeg Square, Portage Place, and the Main level of City Place... Upper level? Not till a few months ago... I was looking around didn't really know what I was craving and the mall was closing in 15 minutes so I saw Samosa Hut and was excited to try what they've got. The samosas were reasonably priced. My partner isn't really much on eating samosas - but I loved what I bought for under $10 - I wish I could of bought more though. I shall come back another time one of these days.
Decent Enough for a Quick Grab. Reasonably priced combo plates with tasty standard fare such as butter chicken and chana masala. Also offered are bulk samosa orders at very reasonable prices. Have to admit, quality is very dependent on who is working the front and maintaining the steam buffet tables. Peek before you buy/order. Nothing too special here but quick Indian that is good 'nuff.
