Tasty beer! Knowledgeable staff. Gorgeous tap room. Highly recommend.
Fantastic place the beer is awesome definitely recommend Barn Hammer!
Cool place! Great friendly, knowledgeable staff, good beer! What else can you ask for. Looking forward to seeing where they are few years from now! Had a fantastic time chatting with Adrienne about what's brewing in Manitoba, everyone on "the wood" was 100%!
Friendly staff, great beer, love the rustic look! So happy this place is within walking distance from home. You're awesome!
Awesome vibe, great beer, friendly staff, & those pretzels!
Excellent experience! Ambiance and beer are wonderful! Friendly staff. Highly recommend giving it a try
Fantastic beer 🍻 some of the cities best. Only complaint, it's always so busy 😉
Great space, friendly staff and the beer is absolutely fantastic beer!
Really, really, really good beer. The range of beer included ales, an IPA, Stout, a Witbier and an extremely delicious seasonal Winter Ale. I love that the place is a tap house and as such follows certain serving rules. The staff are chill, the local products are very cool and I love the various seating available, whether sitting at the bar, standing at the window to part of the production facility or tipping one or two at the communal tables. The atmosphere is nostalgic and I can't help but like the tunes, too. My favourite part, is that it is local and a mere 5 minute walk through the hood.
First of the new brew pubs I've visited. Great ambience, friendly staff, great selection of craft brews. Of course the beer is the centrepiece. Enjoyed the ESB, loved the rye pale ale. We'll be back often.
Staff were great and knowledgeable. Winnipeg needs to change food laws and let them serve popcorn
Congrats on your 1st anniversary. Excellent staff and excellent beer .
Great atmosphere, tried the Mead, it was excellent, staff was awesome
Fantastic beer, great vibe to the place. Can't wait to get back there.
Had the Oatmeal Stout at the Rockwood. Most excellent!!!
Is it available at the LC?
I do have the Manitoba tasters pack with the Belgian in it.
Great beer and amazing service. The staff are all easy to talk to and the different selection of beer each week along with their test batches make for an awesome selection !
Interesting selection. They've got a low life label for some really atypical stuff. Looking forward to the NEIPA. Nice little patio with a couple tables. Would love to spend a sunny hour with a slice from the pizza place a few doors down.
I really enjoyed the wide variety of beers to try! For every one I wasn't a fan of there were three that I loved! Great relaxing atmosphere, perfect for grabbing a quick pint after work or to meet friends for an evening out.
Great place to meet. Strictly a tasting room and they don't accept debit. You are welcome to bring your own food in to enjoy. 11 versions on tap and all brewed in house. Craft beer at it's finest!
This place has fantastic beer. The staff are attentive and the friendliest folks. We own a tiny vegan restaurant that serve their vegan beers and their selection of beers is ordered often. Dealing with the awesome owners to keep our fridges stocked is a breeze with no hassle at all. They also support the LGBTQ+ community which is why we appreciate them. We highly recommend this place and their beer selection.
This is an outstanding brewery, as is its sister brewery under the same roof, Low Life Barrel House, which appears to specialise in sours. Barn Hammer's signature and seasonal/experimental beers are all quality brews. Unlike some breweries they don't seem to release something just because they had an idea. Everything I've had from there has been recognisable as a quality beer, regardless of my personal taste, even when the concept sounds outrageous.
The best brewpub in the 'Peg' hands down.
Fabulous beer selection. Great friendly service. Very nice atmosphere. Will definitely be back to sample the new brews on tap. Keep up the great work!!! Cheers to the owners and staff !!
Nuff said !!
By far the best beer in Winnipeg. Finally made it out to the tap room and brewery, the building is a cute beacon of goodness in a dreary part of town. At $12- $15 for a growler, well worth the walk!
