Best Gondola in the city, always made perfectly. We eat a lot of pizza in our family, and theirs is spot on. If you order no cheese, they load up on toppings to make it taste amazing so you don’t feel like you’re missing out. Best thin crust, always absolutely delicious!

First time ordering from Gondola was Canada Day at 11:30pm and I was very impressed with the service and the food. Eveything was on time and HOT and most importantly, delicious. The Asian pizza will have me as coming back for sure .... thanks.

45 mins on delivery during -40 Winnipeg weather. Pizza arrived hot and delicious. Telephone operator sounded like they were on a long shift or having a bad day. Other than that great experience. 2- XL 2 Toppings 50$ before tip.

This is the best Gondola pizza location in Winnipeg. They make the food exactly the way you want it. Amazing taste. If you're a person who gets heartburn from cheap pizza. Then gondola pizza is for you. Because this pizza will enjoyably be eaten and comfortably keep you satisfied. Great cooks and delivery drivers at this location.

Had been looking forward to a Gondola pizza as its always been one of my favourites. Was very disappointed with my cheeseburger pizza. After choking down a piece I called the Pembina location to tell them of my experience. I was told “too bad”. I am disgusted with your pizza and your (lack of) customer service. 🤢

This is the only review you need to read about this location. Pizza is one of my favorite foods and I've definitely eaten more pizza than most people. I lived near this location for over 15 years. There's probably around 10 different pizza joints all within a kilometre of this location. My last two pickup orders of multiple pizzas from this location were disappointing. I paid for extra toppings and didn't get it. The bottom of the pizzas were undercooked which made them chewy and raw tasting. There was almost no sauce, poor amount of cheese and toppings. Their customer service is horrible, and they were difficult to deal with. They offered me a discount on my next order in the amount of a measly $10. If you guessed that my next order would be never, you would be correct. I avoid this location and even go across the city to Mcphillips St to get a good Gondola pizza. The food here is unappetizing slop not worth your time. Anyone giving this place 5 stars must be blind and have no taste buds.

Skip this Pembina location and choose another if you are willing to pay big bucks for pizza give your money to a store that deserves it. The pizza is excellent albeit extremely pricey but worth it in my opinion. Unfortunately the first time I had an issue the store owner/manager was rude and unaccommodating. After waiting 1.5 hours for delivery (which is not uncommon) the pizza was barely even warm upon delivery (which is uncommon). Normally even with the extraordinary wait time it still arrives hot so I called the store. The owner/manager was immediately defensive and to paraphrase he tried to make it sound as if I was lying, then he blamed the weather. He said he will give me a discount next time but didn't request my information. He didn't even have my name as it was never given at the time of ordering. He offered $5 off which I expressed was not adequate. He became increasingly defensive but offered to pick this pizza up and exchange for another. I declined because I was not willing to wait an additional 1.5 hours with hungry kids to feed. He said it wouldn't take that long but given the fact his customer service was terrible up to this point I will not order from the Pembina location again. There are many other restaurants that are happy to provide quality food and service.

Idk why the ratings are only a 3.5. I love the xl thin crust pizza baked to a crisp. Its soo good. I've never once been sick off their menu. Keep up the good work

I had supper this evening at Gondola Pizza. It is a chain in Manitoba and northern Ontario (I've never heard of them) and this is their original location. It's not even close to being fancy but it's comfortable. I ordered a small pizza with tomatoes, pepperoni and ham. I love love love pizza and this was a pretty good pizza. The crust was thin and crunchy. The sauce was interesting as there was a bit of a bite to it ... it tasted like chili pepper but it's part of the secret spice.

Used to be my favourite......not any more!. I have been eating Gondola pizza for decades, literally. My buddy owned one in Thunder Bay and it was the best. I moved to Winnipeg in 1974 and they were still pretty good. At one time it was the best even though the price was high for what was on it, but the taste, nothing else compared. I don't understand what happened to them but lets just say that you would be better to go elsewhere. It has been 4 years since I have had a Gondola Pizza and the last one that was still half decent was from the Gondola in Birds Hill. Sad to say Gondola is dead to me. Why did they have to ruin it? Cheap pizza to make, big profit! Big bucks for nothing ($22 for a large 2 topping) but, it used to taste great so it was worth it. Don't think they will be able to come back now with all the bad reviews and there are many. Sad to see a great pizza become a memory!

Some of my favourite pizza in the city. It's a toss up between a pepperoni and bacon, or a double bacon on thin crust. It's a close race for my favourite pizza in the city.

Just like I remember!. Ordered a small thin crust with double cheese, pepperoni, canned mushrooms and bacon for pickup (my hotel was only a few blocks away). It was ready on time and I still had to let it cool down a bit when I got it to my room. It was great! The taste was just as I remember. It was not overdone and was nice and moist. I have a couple of these every time I come to Winnipeg and am never disappointed.

Gondola was the best pizza ever, I'm from Regina, and we haven't had Gondola for decades now, so whenever I'm in Winnipeg , Gondola is the first place I head to, over the years I have noticed that it's not like it used to be.... Slowly deteriorating, This time it was just awful, some genius must have altered the recipe....... Well a great pizza is ruined...... A very heavy taste of cumin..... Yuk.... We ordered from a different location the next day and it was the same..... Goodbye Gondola ..... No more business from me.

Delicious. A pizza family dinner was my treat last night at my folks. I haven't had Gondola Pizza for many years, and only a couple of times since I was a kid in the 70s. My niece and nephew - in - law said they loved Gondola too, a few years ago but hadn't had it in a long time. So, I was a little leery about ordering from them because of some of the negative reviews, but decided to give it a shot anyway. I'm very GLAD I did - because it was a total success. 3 different x-large thin crust - (side bacon and mushroom is still my favorite with canned mushrooms, as requested), all hot and flavorful - and everyone agreed that they were as good as we remembered from years back. My Mom actually suggested that the next summer birthday party we have, that we order from Gondola - and I will for sure. The Pembina location is where I went - kind of a kick since it's been around for as long as I have.

Very dissapointed. I have been ordering pizza at this location for years always good .it started to not be up to gondola standerds.i always order the same one bacon and green peppers ,this one eve. ordered and delivered it just tasted a little off .left it at that the next time the bacon was bad.i phoned to tell them and they said they were sorry the next time it was so bad the bacon was ransid .i phoned them and they did nothing i have not ordered since,then . it is to bad for them and me i can t order at another gondola,.i tried ordering at another gondola but they could not send in our area.i think that u-is unfair to the other resturants because of your chain policy no one is getting my buissness and that is to bad i would continue to order at another location .from what i could see online there are other complaints for that location .i think you should rethink this policy, i would not go out of my area if the pizza was good.they are giving gondola s bad name and it is not doing your company any good either i would like to hear from you but iam not always getting my emails i can be found at 482 arnold ave winnipeg mb. a hutch thanks for your time,

Best pizza in town!. Gondola is our favourite place for pizza delivery...always so tasty, a little pricey, but such good quality! Highly recommend!

Just not good tasting. Probably some of the worst pizza I've ever ordered in the city. It's embarrassing that there's one of these at the airport. Ya lets give travelers a taste of our worst pizza. Welcome to Winnipeg it's cold and our food sucks.

Have ordered here for delivery a few times and it has always been as good as you would expect. Prices are high since they got rid of the coupons, so that is majorly disappointing. Otherwise, the pizza is very, very tasty and the delivery has been faster than expected, for sure. Delivery guys are decent too. Kinda hard to understand the guy taking the order; he mumbles. But such is life and I'm not really complaining. Thus far, I'd give 'em an easy 9/10.

Bad experience and head office not helping. After complaining to the Fort Garry Site because my pizza was not what I ordered and they were rude on the phone ..I called head office and they apologized and kindly offered to send me a coupon to try again. The coupon never came and I wont be trying them again. Looks to me like no one cares at Gondola..not the Store manager and certainly not the area manager...dont go there..the pizza was overspiced...

Ordered 2 medium 2 topping pizzas tonight. Disgusting. Crust had a taste reminiscent of play dough. The ham and pineapple tasted fishy. Can't fathom how this place stays in business

Incomparable pizza, fantastic price?. Possibly the worst pizza I have ordered at a fairly high price. $38.00 for 2 large (15")pizzas with minimal toppings. Cold pizza, crappy crust. Quality of ingredients and taste barely equivalent to frozen pizza. Will never order from them again.

NEVER AGAIN!. I called and ordered a large thin crust ham and pineapple and a 2L coke at 7:10pm. I called back at 8:10pm to see how much longer the wait would be... he said 5-10 minutes. I called back at 8:40pm to see what the hell was going on. He said it would be here within 2 minutes. The pizza arrives at 9:00pm... just time time for my 1.5 year old to go to bed... The pizza sucks, hardly any toppings... it's worth the amount of a small pizza. I payed 30.00 still JUST because it was still hot. I WAS 2 MINUTES AWAY FROM CALLING AND CANCELING MY ORDER!!! I recommend HOUSE OF PIZZA, great pizza, it's always been my family's favorite! Every time I order I've been told a 45 minute wait and the pizza arrived 45 minutes later! EVERY TIME, none of this 2 hour crap!

Terrible pizza again. That's it.. after decades of pizza from Gondola..this is the last straw.. pizza was overdone.. crunchy would be the word.. no taste... no cheese.. Henderson Hwy branch... never again...

Not Recommended. This chain has been around forever and I have never figured out why. I find this pizza inedible. The cheese, sauce and crust are all severely lacking. I prefer thin crust pizza and while the pizza that is served here features a thin crust, it is doughy and kind of soft. There are too many good options for pizza in Winnipeg to waste your time and money on Gondola.

???. A terrible experience. Very expensive, small portions, dough tasted dry and bland, mushrooms were from a can. Not even close to worth it, you'd be better off with a frozen supermarket pizza.

Yesteryear is gone.... This restaurant (all Gondola locations) is clearly banking on folks who remember Gondola's amazing thin-crust pizza of yesteryear. Well, sadly, it's gone. I'm not sure, but I think it's the cheese. The current cheese used is disgusting - it seems fake and tastes awful. Also, these pizzas are extremely expensive - probably the most expensive pizzas in town and hardly worth it. Domino's thin crust beats Gondola's current thin-crust easily. For thicker crust pizza, just about any other pizza-joint in town tastes better and you will save a fortune.
