Always excellent service and fresh and tasty food. The servers are always very friendly and attentive. We usually get the classic fish and chips. Last time I tried the cajun combo. We moved away from Winnipeg 3 years ago. My husband and son stopped in for a visit while traveling recently and were greeted like old friends. I wish I'd been there too. I haven't been able to find a fish & chip meal anywhere near as good as Joey's for a long time. And yes, we still have the Finley
The fish & chips were good. My table was not clean when I sat down,and I had to wait several minutes before anyone seated me. (only 3 other tables occupied, noone at the front.)
The fish pieces were all batter. the manager even came out and said we gave you an extra piece because the fish was small but that became only extra batter. If there was a negative rating they would get a -5. Totally wasted my time. Would never go back there. Too disappointing !!! your reply is hil

Not a good value for your money. Portion was small over all. Quality and taste isn't that outstanding for the amount of money you're going to pay. You can spend the same amount and get more & better quality at other places. We got served last even though we sat down & ordered first. Waitress & hoste
If I could give a negative I would. Before coming, I checked on the website for the all you can eat Tuesday special for $14.95. It specifically shows this location is included in the Tuesday special. When I arrived, I was told “we don’t do that anymore since the beginning of Covid.” After my dinner,
