This is a lovely place down in the Exchange (must see area if you’re in Winnipeg). The waitress is so kind and friendly, and the food was delicious. Quite, peaceful music playing, friendly people coming in and out to get their regulars. Just a wonderful breakfast spot I would definitely come back to
This is the best breakfast in downtown Winnipeg (exchange district!). We came to winnipeg for 10 days for work and ate here almost everyday. The food and coffee are delicious- especially the standard breakfast! The service is fast and exceptional, prices are more than fair, and the portions are huge
Get their Japanese dishes, the sandwiches are great too, but the real hidden gems are the Yakisoba and similar dishes. Polite and friendly staff and it's not crazy expensive
Love their food & the sweetest owners! They have the best sandwiches. If you ever go downtown, you must try their burgers and sandwiches with their homemade lemonade. Pictured: ham and cheese omelete❣️
Had the free press burger for lunch the other day while clearing snow bit the bullet on the price tag but so glad I did probably top three burgers I've ever had amazing amazing Burger potato salad had a decent flavour to it Dijon I think but the potatoes were a bit hard will definitely return
This hidden gem, our friendly neighbour, Winnipeg Free Press News Cafe has a wonderful ambiance and fantastic food right at the heart of the Exchange. Don't just take our word for it, try it out yourself 😋 they have everything from sweet to savoury.
Very friendly staff. Food is amazing. Here's a breakfast takeout :)
