Review Gus & Tony's At The Park - Winnipeg

I arrived near the end of lunch hour and the kitchen had run out of an ingredient for the item I wanted, but they went out of their way to accommodate me. Thoughtful, personable service. Delicious, creative food with touches of ingenuity. Warm, slightly exotic atmosphere. A lunch that made my day.

Food was good, service was friendly and meal came out quickly.

June 14, 2016. Friend and I went for a late lunch. Very clean place and female owner? very hospitable. Greek salad with grilled chicken was perfectly seasoned and home made hamburger were delish! I see now they have been commended for their ribs and BBQ. Will definitely return to try other dishes.

Beyond disappointed with the food from here now. Used to be really good. Expensive but worth it. Now its expensive and terrible. I ordered chicken fingers and fries and had it to go. Got back to work and saw that the chicken fingers were a VERY processed ground up chicken in a thick breading (like cheap frozen chicken fingers from grocery store) and the fries were soggy and tasteless. I used to order from here a lot and chicken was great and fries were crispy but this is now 2x the food has been poor and the price is extreme in the last little bit. I will be taking my business and all my coworkers business somewhere else.

Friendly and quick service! Amazing fries and burger.

Nothing spectacular, but definitely good food. I would say it was slightly over priced, and your pop is a can. Not exactly a bad thing but they bring you it while you wait a long time for your food (30ish min). So a plus it's from scratch, but quite a long wait.
Hugh Reggi
Been here a number of times. Service is good but can be a little slow at times. Food is very good and all of the food and sauces are made from scratch in-house. I would say that it is comparable to any of the other Greek restaurants in the city.

We love Greek food and the reviews made us want to go here. What a disappointment . Went for lunch , we each had a gyro which was ok , but certainly not worth $9. I had the lemon rice soup which was basically tasteless. I've had much better Greek food at fast food restaurants for half the money. The service was just ok. Not likely to ever go back, since there are many other good Greek restaurants in Winnipeg which are less expensive.

This is a copy of my review on Trip Advisor. Hey Carly! We promised ... Travellers ... This is a really nice place to rest your tired bodies. We ended up in this little corner of the world because someone, at a service station on Portage Ave., had said "there's a resto up the street a bit". Supper, food ... we've had a day of walking around downtown Winnipeg and we needed refreshment and sustenance. Not many people and certainly no line up at the door ... but needs must, as the expression goes. In we went. The young waitress suggests we find a table and there's one in the corner, she's in with the menu in no time. I'm thirsty and ask for a "tall glass of water, like a beer glass, please." She was back quickly with one (normal) glass of water for my wife and ... a beer glass of water for me!!! We'd found our supper place for the next three nights. Ah ... the food, right? Tasty, right-sized, uncomplicated but welcoming. All in the image of the place, its owner (whom we meet on our last visit) and also the manager/waitress: Carly. We were there three times and each of us ordered different meals, so a fair selection off the menu. I'd go back anytime. As for the price, I would class it as reasonable and good value. But what will remain longer than the food taste is the fun service we had. On our arrival the second night we were part of the family or the 'regulars', "our" table awaiting. On the third visit, we met the owner who already knew about us!! I also remember that there were quite a number of "Save the dishes" drivers sweeping in and out. So we weren't the only ones liking the place, locals like it too. Keep it up gals! Oh ... and in case you want an ice cream, Carly said to go to the next corner up at the Sargent Sundae. And she was right. Join the line up and enjoy. The other thing right at hand, after a meal at Gus & Tonys is the Assiniboine Park, across the street. More on that later, but really ... you can't miss this little corner of the world.

I went to Gus and Tony’s at the Park today for the first time. We had specially prepared lunch of lamb with roasted potatoes and rice with bean pilaf. It was not only absolutely delicious it was a wonderful experience. Arnaldo and his staff made us feel very welcome. The food and the company was outstanding. I highly recommend this restaurant. Great food! Great service! Great people!

We had Gus and Tony's cater Christmas Eve dinner for us while my mom was in hospital. We booked a lovely private family room there and all the family came. It has always been our tradition to have ribs on Christmas Eve, and Gus and Tony's came through with flying colours! Great meal!

Killer chicken souvlaki and the tzatziki was amazing! Our waitress was fantastic!
Robert Smith
Awesome food at great prices! Would recommend this place to all!

Such good food! large portions for an excellent price.

Was thinking of giving this place 3 stars but because of all the shill reviews below (5 star similarly worded reviews from accounts with only one review) I figured those should even this one out.<br/><br/>Wanted to try out the Greek salad here as we heard it was great. We went on a Friday evening and there was hardly anyone else here. We ordered the veggie pita and Greek salad ($14) and fish n chips ($17). Admittedly a veggie pita is a boring option the expectations were low. It still managed to be the worst one we have had at a Greek restaurant. No veggies were grilled and the tzatziki had the consistency of water. It was so runny and dripping it had to be eaten as a sloppy mess with fork. The Greek salad was very good. The portion however was small. The value was not there. The fish and chips were not as expected. The fish had a thick breading and was dry with an extreme crunch. Perhaps it was overdone or that's just they way they make it. The fries were homemade and crispy and tasty. Maybe this is a good burger and fries joint? <br/><br/>There was one person working the entire place so service wasn't the greatest although she probably did her best. It was hard to talk to her or we would have passed on our concerns. In photos on zomato the tzatziki has thicker consistency. Maybe we went on an off day or need to order something much different. 3 tables at peak time maybe says something though. We will stick to Olympia for for Greek in St James for both value and quality.

The Swizzle Styx had lunch here yesterday and it was ok. We started with calamari and onion rings, onion rings were great, calamari was awful, fishy tasting and very rubbery. The meals were good especially the Greek pita and the gyro. Chill burger was ok, Reuben was ok and the Greek platter was good. Service was ok at best. They are opening a new tapas restaurant next door so we will be back to try that.

Great restaurant. My experience was very enjoyable. I got the gyro and thoroughly enjoyed it but there were many options on the menu that I would like to try in the future. The service just added to the experience. We were seated right away and had a pretty waitress with blonde and purple hair who had a great personality, attended to all our needs.  Would definitely recommend and go again.

Food was fantastic, owners were lovely, had a great time there  although they should really look into the staff. When I went there to eat, there were about two other tables, and the only waitress - a tall girl with blonde and purple hair - was constantly on her phone and sitting down at a table in the with a boy - safe to assume her boyfriend? - she didn't even notice that my water was empty most of the time. I noticed the other tables staring too but I decided to not say anything because while the staff could use a little work the food was amazing and this little restaurant is definitely a hidden gem.

Stopped in to try their clubhouse as it had a good review on another site.  While I do give them credit for having real meat in the sandwich, it was otherwise unremarkable.  The fries were a bit soggy, but the salad was decent.

I made a reservation for 10 to 12 people and ended up with 14... but this wasn't a problem for the staff! They were extremely efficient and very friendly, not even rushing us after closing time. I was very impressed with the service and the food was very tasty... especially the home-made onion rings. If you like onion rings, then you should really try this place!
Jess
What a terrible terrible experience. I was disgusted by the service and food. First when we first sat down, didn't get a menu or water for 5 minutes. When we did get our menu, she put them on the table and walked away. She didn't even say hello or welcome. Then the people next to us sat down and we welcomed with smiles and got menu's and water right away. (Found out they were friends of the owners). My husband got ribs and half Greek and half fries and I got the chicken fettuccine Alfredo and a salad. My salad had 3 croutons and 1 bacon bit and was very bland. The man next to us got the same order as my husband and the man's order had a massive slab of ribs and lots of fries and Greek salad. When my husband's order came (after 45 minutes, no water and there was only 5 people in the restaurant). His order had a very tiny slab of ribs, little to no meat and thin. He barely got half and half salad and fries compared to the man next to us. My Alfredo was cold, bland and my noodles were hard. The chicken in the pasta was bland and only 4 very tiny pieces. Wasted 38 dollars on crappy food and disgusted service. Will never go back and will tell everyone to never waste their time there.

After trying to get a table at a local Greek favorite, Olympia Diner and being told the wait was an hour, we decided to go down the road to Gus and Tony's. My parents had previously had a bad meal there, but I convinced them to go based on the good prices and extensive menu options I saw online.<br/><br/>It was a Saturday night, so it was reasonably busy. There were never less than 5 other tables in the restaurant. I ordered the gyros with the lemon chicken rice soup. I really enjoyed the gyros, but the soup was not my favorite. I forgot to take a photo because I started eating so fast.<br/> <br/>Both of my parents got chicken souvlaki with potatoes and rice which they enjoyed, and Greek salad. The rice and salad were also good, next time I would get the salad instead of the soup. <br/><br/>There were only two servers on, but it wasn't noticeably slow or anything. The gyros by itself was $8.25 and the soup was $3.99, good prices and you can customize your sides as you wish. <br/><br/>My parents, who had a negative experience here before both said they really enjoyed it and were impressed at how the food and atmosphere has changed. We will definitely be back.

Me and my parents came here to eat about a year ago, place was fantastic and we all agreed that Gus and Tony's was slightly better than the burger joint down the road (whose quality had admittedly been slipping the past few times) <br/><br/>Last week me and my dad decided to stop by Gus and Tony's on a Saturday at 7:40PM, place was empty and there were just two kids working. We decided to do take out and ordered 1 Chili dog, 2 double cheeseburger deluxe's and an order of fires. All this came to around $30 and took about 15mins to make. <br/><br/>Me and dad decided we couldn't wait to get home and preceded to dig in, the Fires were good and of the expected quality that you would get at the other joints nearby. <br/><br/>Everything after the fries went horribly wrong, the burger was missing everything except the quarter sized dab of chili, 4 pieces of onion and a slim pickle unceremoniously thrown on the side, bun was dry, meat tasted funny (kind of sweet) absolute worst burger I have had. Hotdog was not much better and had more relish than anything else. Moms burger was the same and went to the dogs. <br/><br/>With all that said, I'm chalking this up to a live and learn experience and will be driving right by this place from now on. As Jim said that are plenty of other places in WPG to have a better burger and at least 2 places are within minutes of this place.
Jim Gibbons
Not that good. Had their cheeseburger deluxe (fatboy) and fries. Burger bun was dry. Toppings were skimpy. Fries were cold and greasy. There are 10+ other places to enjoy a great burger in Wpg. See other reviews.
Steve Rodrigues
great place!!!!   the staff was friendly and helpful. i had the deluxe cheeseburger with fries and it was awesome.  my friend had the chicken gyros with a greek salad she said it was the best she ever had.   will definitely be coming back often.
Melanie
Nothing special, but not bad. I had a clubhouse that didn't stand out as all that great (too bread-y and bland) and a salad that was fresh but an over-vinegary.<br/>

The worst restaurant we have ever been to.. Gus and Tony's is by far one of the worst restaurants I have ever been to. We were ignored at the door by the owners who were sitting by the kitchen. Then quite rudely treated and finally ushered to a dingy table. After looking over the menu and asking the server questions about the food, and given no information......we were served wretched microwaved pasta...yes, .microwaved pasta.....and pretend Portuguese chicken that tasted like the Sobey's $7.99 special. It was revolting. We will never go back. It took me two months to get over my anger enough to write this review.

Great service + Great food = happy me!. I have been going here for a while with my boyfriend and for the longest time he was IN LOVE with the delicious and generously sized burgers. Recently they added a new pita to the menu and he decided to give it a try. Let me tell you he will probably never go back to burgers again. The sweet chilli chicken pita was absolutely delish! Not to mention our server was very nice and very attentive. Our glasses were never empty! Will be going back for sure.

Opah!. Great place to go for burgers and gyros. big portions and lots of flavour. coming back often for sure!

Don't Bother. Food is over-priced, poor quality. Ordered the Lemon Rice Soup, and it was super watery and had very little flavour (extremely diluted). When I mentioned it to the server, his response was "oh". Burger was okay, but nothing worth coming back for. $6 - $7 for a kids meal, when drinks are extra and no dessert is included is quite a bit, especially considering this isn't a super high end place.

Don't order the clubhouse. Stopped in for a quick lunch and ordered the chicken club....with fries. <br/><br/>It looked good ! The bread was toasted perfectly.... BUT there was no chicken! lettuce and tomatoe and mayo that's it . I should say there was some chicken...about the size of a loonie and weird shaped like a peeled nugget but harder. Didn't taste like chicken...I saw some bacon but when I took a bite ...I couldn't taste it...It was weird. The fries were way under cooked and gross.... sad. I did hear the burgers were great here. I can't be bothered to go back to try .

Great meal picked up tonight for two.. Called in a pick up order from across town, they judged my driving time perfectly! I entered the restaurant to find I was greeted by name and the nice lady said my order was all ready. Very courteous! I left with my order seconds later and when I got home I was impressed with the deluxe cheeseburger with bacon and chili fries. Prepared very well and still warm after the short trip home. Will go back and received good value for the price. Thanks Gus and Tony's!

Great restaurant under new owners. Two fantastic specials in the evening were Portuguese chicken roasted with a shrimp kebob or more chicken in case you don't like shrimp the other special was fresh red snapper or Atlantic salmon in a lobster sauce with shrimps or just as well more fish if you don.t care for shrimp.Ask for other items not available on the menu like for example seafood pasta or a starter of fresh delicious clams or barbecued ribs entrée For dessert we had a Portuguese custard freshly baked witch reminded me of something I had down town Lisbon, for this one you must order 20 mnts in advance Good luck guys and hope that you continue with the same first class quality food

First time and never again. This review is for service only since we never got around to sampling the food. Our visit started off well enough with a staff member greeting us immediately upon entering. We were invited to sit wherever we wanted and had a server come around shortly to offer beverages. After that, we become invisible to the staff even though they passed our table several times and the place was 3/4 empty. After an insanely long wait, we dropped some change on the table to cover the cost of beverages (they didn't even deserve that) and walked out.

Water tastes like rinsing agent Full greek salad was small and made with iceberg instead of romaine<br/>And come on throw in a piece of garlic toast with a large salad at least

Best Chili Burgers in Winnipeg. We have tried almost all the items on the menu and have never been disappointed with the food! The service is great and their food is amazing. I highly recommend Gus and Tony's to everyone.

Reuben. Had the reuben sandwich yesterday and it was extremely salty to the point where it was inedible. Chicken fingers were like hockey pucks . Salad was great and so was the home made soup. Our waiter was also very good and we still left him a tip.

Yummy burger. Will be returning

I'm impressed!. We came to Gus & Tony's for lunch on Feb 15th because we were not far away, and I had made a mental note to come here, next time we were in the area. I ordered a Reuben sandwich with yellow mustard, and my man ordered the Beef/Lamb Gyro. We also ordered Fries with gravy on the side. Our server said she was fairly new there, but she was friendly and attentive, so she'll be great! My Reuben sandwich was perfect - not too much meat, but enough, with tangy sauerkraut and gooey cheese. Delish! The fries are home-made and perfectly cooked, and we got a lot of nice long fries. The gravy was hot, and very delicious. My man said his Gyro was good too. Gus came out of the kitchen, and asked us how everything was. Great! This is a nice restaurant, and the food is good. Although we don't live in the area, this is a place I would be happy to come back to. Thank you!

Good food, excellent service. I was going to write a 2nd review on Gus and Tony's for their excellent service for my grandmothers lunch request - to realize I hadn't done any reviews for here, despite many good experiences! (sorry) <br/><br/>On a recent lunch visit - my Grandma asked to order a hamburger, plain with no seasonings. The waitress said she wasn't sure she could order that as there is seasoning in the patty's they make daily. Tony (the owner) came promptly over to our table and indicated he had checked he fridge and had ground beef not yet made into patties so he was able to make her a burger, without any seasonings as per her request. He PERSONALLY made a 'no seasoning' burger! (in the middle of a lunch rush i might add!)<br/><br/>Yes, I love their overall food (quality, taste etc), their service has always been great, and I love the fact the owner is always visible in the restaurant (and even remembers you!) but THIS experience really put them over the top for me! <br/><br/>Great job!
Jenna Backus Nee Holloway
Love it! Went with coworkers for lunch on Friday and the food was delish! Had the deluxe cheeseburger and Poutine. Way too much food, but the burger was flavorful (as I would expect from the guy who previously owned Daly Burgers) and the Poutine was perfect!<br/><br/>I'll definitely be back and going to bring the hubby to try it out as well.

Went there today for an early supper. Had the cheeseburger and chili fries, she had the clubhouse. Very good. Will be back.
Michael Sangalang
Service here is one top notch place! I recommend anyone who loves Greek food to come and enjoy this love restaurant!
Hungergames
Delicious food, large portions, very friendly staff. Great dining experience. Will most definitely come back.

This place is awesome! Almost everything is home made and so delicious! I don't know why there's even negative feedback especially about the salads! No authentic Greek salads have lettuce to begin with so the lady who had say about that should get to know her stuff cause at gus and Tony's they offer this salad! For the amount of stuff they have on the menu I'm surprised they get the chance to make everything! Gus's burgers are amazing too! Can never go wrong with that!
Michelle Marlene
I'll be back. This place is cute, friendly ,and the food is fantastic!

Good Greek Grub. This place has a solid burger pedigree, as "Gus" is the man who originally brought us "The Burger Place" on Portage and "Daly Burger". I guess he and his son have decided to broaden their menu to include a bunch of fairly classic Greek options. Went on Friday at lunch and the place was packed. Service was friendly but the kitchen was a little slow (perhaps understandably). Had the lunch special which was a ribeye steak sandwich. I don't know why they bothered to ask us how we wanted our steak - the thing was a fast-fry cut and only about a third of an inch thick. You're getting it medium. Having said that it was well seasoned and tasty, and on some pretty yummy garlic toast. Fries were really good. Looking around at the tables nearby it appears they do a brisk business in burgers and sandwiches as well as assorted greek style pita wraps. Portions are generous. If I had to be critical, my greek salad was mostly lettuce and had only one lonely olive in it. It really mirrors a lot of the aspects of the Park Tower restaurant that was in this location previously. Not a bad thing.
Cindy Jonts
It was horrible and I will never go back. Me and my girlfriend went there a few nighs ago for dinner. The food was WAY too overpriced for the quality of it. The chicken we ordered wasn't warm, and the sauces all came in cheap packets. We also ordered a Greek salad and it was literally the bagged salad with the carrots and purple cabbage in it that oh buy for 1.50 at Safeway, with crappy feta cheese sprinkled on top. I could have bought that for half the price at a grocery store. Not to mention carrots and cabbage aren't even on an actual Greek salad.
Kyle
Worst service in Winnipeg!. Do not go here! Food is ok, not worth the price! The guy charges us for an adult meal for our 7 year old after we ordered off the kids menu! He assumed that he would eat an adult size meal. Did nothing when we questioned his assumption. We were the only people in the place ( no surprise) and not once were we asked if we needed anything or if the meals were ok!! Terrible service!!! First and last time eating here!! Want to add that the background music was heavy metal music, not appropriate dinner music! The artwork on the walls...our 7 year old could have done a better job of dry mounting! Very low end!!!
Pam Williams
Wonderful. As a big fan of greek food, this was The best lemon potatoes and rice I have ever had. I had the pork Slovakia special with spanicopia and Greek salad. Wow is all I can say. Can hardly wait to try their hamburger and fries. Restaurant was very clean and friendly. This is the first restaurant I have ever reviewed, but it was a must for a big pat on the back.
Debbie Steeves
Disappointed. Club house was okay but they can't cook the toast. Breakfast was greasy, frozen hash browns and under cook toast, warm bread. Will not be back.
Food Snob
Quite good. Looking around .... Quite good.<br/>Looking around the clientele you would think that this place had to offer a wide menu range for a burger joint. After one does not usually calamari at cheeseburger cheeseburger.<br/>fresh' tasty' great service.<br/>Worth a return trip.
Barbarella
The BEST calamari in the city!. If you like calamari, be prepared to order this appetizer and not want to share! It is so tender and flavourful - I can't rave about it enough! Every meal we've had there - souvlaki, gyros, salads, fries - has been fantastic and the service was extremely attentive and quick. We used to enjoy Park Tower but found that our eyes were watering from all of the frying onions or something and we'd leave reaking of them. The food was good, but Gus & Tony's has them beat - Hands Down!
Project D Note
THE BEST. Just had lunch at Gus n Tony's and i can honestly say that they have the best burgers in town! The Greek salad was delicious with a healthy portion of feta<br/>and crispy veggies, oh and the olives were yummy as well. It was a packed house when we got there given it was the lunch rush but we were seated immediately as soon as a table was available by a wonderful and courteous waitress. Our food came out quickly and the service was spot on!<br/>Gus even came to our table to ask us how our food was, <br/>"how was everything? he said in a heavy Greek accent.<br/>we used to come dine here when it was the park tower and believe me<br/>Gus and Tony's 'TOWER' over the park tower in quality, service and price.<br/>If your looking for a taste of Greek heaven with affordable prices look no further Gus n Tony's is it!<br/>10/10

Great casual neighbourhood spot. Perfect spot for a casual dinner. Hamburger and fries are excellent. Very friendly staff and Gus and Tony are warm and inviting.

Great place for cheeseburger and fries!

A Club Definitely Worth Talking About :). I thought the old Zellers Wagon Wheel made a great club sandwich until I tried Gus & Tony's. What I like about Gus & Tony's Clubhouse is its all fresh ingredients, the real thing, no processed meats. The side of fries were great as well not to mention piping hot. The sandwich was spiced to perfection and if you ask for something extra on the club they don't charge you for it, I love raw onion on my sandwiches. The only thing they could do to make it even a better dining experience would be to offer you a pickle slice and some coleslaw if you want to make it a platter. I will definitely recommend this place to all you clubhouse lovers out there, and I know there are a lot of you out there! I will not go hungry today! On a side note the staff is very attentive and even the owners come out to say hi and check on things. A+
Lorna
Awesome!. Great food, and great people. A definite asset to ST. James.

Deluxe Chesseburger a must have!!!!!

New Rising Restaurant!. Definitely a restaurant GEM in the city! Really fast service on a busy day, portions are decent for prices. Tried the fries/chillie, fish/chips and chicken gyro which was huge and very filling. Everything was so tastey! I can't imagine how busy they will get in the summer for being part of the park! Two thumbs up for Gus & tony! and Lotis the awesome waitress! hehe
Camille Dupas
Good portions and very reasonable prices! A job well done by Gus and Tony!
Deborah
Such great food! So fresh and reasonable priced. The restaurant is very clean and welcoming. It's a nice change from some of the burger spots in St.James, which make you question how clean they are, not here! I think the staff are friendly as well, always smiling and looking to get you back. Yum!
TC PRET
I went here for breakfast. The meal was hot and plentiful. My eggs were done perfectly!
Shelley
I loved Park Tower & thought I could get my Greek salad craving from this new place, salad was tasteless & greasy! Burgers are huge, sloppy! It was ok, miss Park Tower;( we were regulars there!! Not sure I would come back again

New owners not tbe same. Loved this place before. But new owners .........not anywhere near as good. I ordered breakfast with eggs over easy. When it came the egg white was raw under a thin coating of white. I called the person over who paused and said"Do you want to send it back?" of course I did. So the eggs come back cooked but the rest of the meal had been microwaved to warm it up. So hard hash browns and overcooked sausage. A freiend got an undercooked burger and was told that was just the seasoning. Yet another burger was not pink inside. Done with this place undercooked food is dangerous. Advice to owners , don't count on the great location to make up for poor food or service.. you are at least the 3rd restaurant in here in the last few years.<br/><br/><br/>-----04 Feb, 2013-----<br/><br/>Best burger in a long time. After being a fan of Park Tower that originally occupied this location, I was pleased but sceptical that something else could replace it. It was just basic greek and burgers etc but always tasty. Gus and Tony's is so much better.. The restaurant has been lightly refreshed and is quietly attractive. The food is great , they serve a good breakfast ( something Park Tower missed an opporytunity to do) their burgers are great and the french fries among the best in town. I rarely indulge in French Fries and chili , but decided to do so and it was so good, it will be difficult to pass this up next tme.Definetly worth a try. The staff is excellent Gus and Tony come out to check on things also
MilaA
DELICIOUS!. A couple girlfriends and I went for dinner at Gus and Tony's for the first time a few days ago. To say it is amazing is an understatement. Upon arrival we were greeted by Gus and Tony themselves, very friendly! The environment is upbeat and the service is excellent. Two of us ordered the Greek Salad with Grilled Chicken Breast and the other went with the Deluxe Cheeseburger with Fries. The portions are HUGE and the prices are great! Worth every penny. If you haven't already been you need to check it out. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Winnipeg.

Had the deluxe cheese burger fries, BLT. Very good food!!! Best burger in a long time! A must try!

Mmmm. Tried out Gus & Tony's a week or so ago and was really impressed! Prices were great for the amount of food that you're given. I had the chicken gyros pita and it was unbelievably tasty. Will for sure come back!

Baked Spaghetti. The Spaghetti sauce in the baked spaghetti is absolutely the best.. Service is friendly as you overlook the action of Portage and the park. Marvelous pictures throughout the restaurant expressing the beauty of Greece.
Kurtis
My girlfriend and I ate here shortly after opening day and the service was great and the food was even better! Portions are large and worth the price! Highly recommended family restaurant!

Gus & Tony’s at the Park is a Greek and Mediterranean eatery on Portage Avenue, located in the former home of Park Tower Restaurant. We had been hearing mixed reviews about this place, and since we used to eat at Park Tower fairly often, we were anxious to try out Gus & Tony’s for ourselves. The space has been slightly renovated, allowing it to differentiate itself from the Park Tower. The menu does as well, especially with the option of breakfast. In addition to the Greek favourites that we’d all expect to see on the menu, there is also
