So here it is, 8 pm on a Friday evening, we walk into Vern's Pizza on McPhillips to get a couple slices. Prime time for a pizza joint, right? Especially emerging out of the pandemic, businesses want to make money and be on their game. Nothing. Warming carousel is off. They won't make us any slices!

It's decent pizza. The crust tends to a bit mushy. I see what other folks mean about the toppings. It's not a very consistent bite.

I was driving by after midnight and saw that they were still open and remembered they used to have cold slices for pretty cheap. So I turned around and sure enough they had a few cold slices left for $2.50 each. This is a quality pizza, with good crust, sauce and ample good cheese with lots of meat.
