I have never heard of this place until this week and it has some of the best pizza in the city. I tried the Tropical and the Chicken Supreme and both were fantastic. Lots of toppings and very filling. The only draw back is living in the north end and having to drive there to get it but it was worth the trip. Next time I want to go and catch some of that live music and eat it hot right at the tables. The decor is fantastic and the service and staff were great. I will recommend this to everyone.

Dicovered this awesome pizza restaurant by accident on Wednesday evening, April 25, 2018.
Ordered the Royal Special, and as I was in a bit of a rush, I asked if it could be ready quicker than promised.
They had it to the counter in 15 minutes.
I thoroughly enjoyed the pizza, and especially the thick and rich sauce.
It was even better the next day at room temperature.

first time eating inside...the food..pizza..was some of the best I tasted in this city...the service was extremely friendly and the prices were very moderate compared to some in Winnipeg...will definitely go back for more...:)
Have been enjoying Royal pie since I was 17. Nothing has changed, scratch sauce and chewy crust. So tasty! I really like the new location. Clean and cozy, with live music on Fridays. Will be back
This place brings back so many fond memories. I worked for Tom twenty years ago, I always called him Pop's. Amazing family. I also worked occasionally with Deena, such a sweetheart. Met my beautiful husband Dave there while I was bartending. Myself and my family love Royal Pizza and really enjoy the entertainment. Great place to get together for an evening out.
My wife & I dined in a few weeks ago, service was excellent, salad was fresh and great tasting, ordered the thin crust pizza and thoroughly enjoyed it. Totally delicious! Looks like a great place for live entertainment as well. Will definitely be back!

Royal Pizza is awesome, seating for 60 people, great atmosphere, licensed and a music stage. Really a comfortable unique space for lunches dinner and group bookings. Bring your guitar if you like !!

We tried Royal for the first time last night and loved it. The sauce is so unique, it certainly sets it apart. Glad we found this local gem, will be our new family pizza night go to!

This place was great. Clean good food and friendly people. Was here for dinner and while we were eating there was I guess you call open mic. That was cool all sort of ages signing different types of music. Love their pizza so good!
Came here tonight with my sister and her bf. They ordered beer and I had a Paralyzer. Drink was good. We ordered Danjos, battered mushrooms. YUM! Comes with Ranch. They don't need Ranch. Ranch is always gross, in every context. My sister and I each ordered a medium, 1/2 Pegger and 1/2 chicken. Both were delicious. My sister's bf ordered a medium 1/2 Spicy and 1/2 Tropical. He said the Spicy was good but probably wouldn't have it again but the ham they use on the tropical was quite tasty and really enjoyed it. Can't wait to go again. Our server Niko was awesome. We made him laugh and he joined in the teasing. Was a good night.
Their new place is nice. Saw a live band and ate pizza. Very nice atmosphere. Pizza was very good. 222 and dominos doesn't even compare. Santa lucia comes close. I've only been twice but I'll be back soon.
Royals has always been our go to pizza for years! And I mean well over the 25 yrs that we followed them as the moved locations around St. Vital. The sauce is great, and this pizza will definitely fill you up. We always ask for it well done, as it is a little on the thicker side.sss

I love this resturant. Their Greek salad dressing is great. I am not a fan that they put celery in their salad so Now I just ask for it without. 1 pizza fills our family of 3 :)
Just as good as I remember. Back in my student days, one of my favourite treats was their spicy pepperoni pizza. Eventually moved to another corner of the city and it was too far to have it delivered anymore. When I moved back to St. Vital, one of the first things I did was get an extra large delivered. It was exactly as good as I remembered.
Sweet sauce + spicy pepperoni + lots of cheese. Heaven in a box.

The Sauce Sells It. Let me preface this review by saying that I am in no way a pizza connoisseur. Nor am I the type of person who throws down stacks of cash when I eat out, but Royal Pizza was worth every penny.
When I came to Winnipeg I was astounded by the amount pizza restaurants. Today, Royal Pizza blew them away.
The crust tasted wholesome. The vegetables were fresh. The bacon tasted like REAL bacon. The slices of pepperoni were thick and full of flavor. The cheese was rich and tasted like cheese should. And the sauce....you have to try it to really know.

A Real Treat. Love the pizza (fresh dough makes such a difference!), the homemade sauce, and generous toppings. I haven't tried them all yet. My favourite salad is the Greek ... oh, great coleslaw, too. I like the fried chicken and garlic bread. We appreciate the quick delivery, too.

Totally AWESOME!. I decided to order from Royal Pizza from seeing a recent Urbanspoon review (and then reading all their reviews) I was SHOCKED to see they were so close to me and I hadn't recalled ever seeing their restaurant.
The lady who took my order over the phone was great and helped me decide on fettucine alfredo and lasagna. Apparently they are known for their 'fresh, crispy and overall awesome salads (as per the lady who took my order), but with the weather, I was more in the mood for comfort food. I had previously checked out their website to see their menu and was happy to see they had daily specials! I love it when restaurants do this! it really does inspire customers to order in the week vs on weekends as a treat. Because our order was over $25 we qualified for the free cheese toast Sunday promotion.
Our order was delivered in UNDER the time promised time (40 minutes), it was piping hot and CRAZY good! Tonnes of cheese on the lasagna, loved the meat sauce as it wasn't 'over the top' tomato-y. The alfredo sauce was top notch and the added chicken was plentiful (it was only an additional $3 to add!). Both portions were more then I thought we would get considering the affordable price.
Overall i would give Royal Pizza a "out of the park" rating of 20 out of 10!!
Can't wait to try the pizza!! (I'll be sure to check out the weekday pizza specials, why wait till the weekend with such incentives?)
Very good! A unique taste with a wonderful crust, (nice mix of crunchy and chewy) not at all greasy. A little pricey but hey wpg, you get what you pay for. Wings were crunchy and nice flavor. Would definately recommend!

First Time. This was my first time ordering from here. it was very good 2 topping pizza not greasy pep and beef. I highly would recommend this place worth the prices and very filling not cheap like some of larger chains
A new favourite pizza joint!. I have a new favorite pizza joint that delivers in my neighbourhood! Ordered the Pegger and the Chicken supreme, fantastic fresh ingredients. Nothing like your typical chain pizza places. Delivery took over 1 hr but they told us that up front, so I figured if they are that busy they must be good and I was right.

Phenomenal!. "Royal" Pizza... has been around FOREVER, and since moving into Winnipeg as a teen, has been a fave. Apparenly, the original owner's daughter has carried on the family "name", and now there is "Original Royal Pizza", and it does NOT DISAPPOINT!
In these days of mass-produced, conveyor cooked atrocities, it is sooo nice to have good, hand-made, REAL meals that are soooo delicious!!! Always a favorite, and the prices are more than reasonable!
Always friendly service too! If you are there on a good night, the family Partriarch, Tom may be on hand, still cooking up the favorites!
Highly recommend all items, but the lasagne, tossed salad with the house dressing, and the garlic bread are always on the list!!

Stopped in for a pizza on Friday night and we were very impressed.
First of all the restaurant is very clean and modern looking. Staff take very careful precautions to make sure that everything is sanitized and clean.
Our pizza was amazing. Fresh toppings and a perfect crisp and somewhat thicker crust. Not too thick, just right. The sauce is also very good.
Our server Samantha did a great job of looking after us. Our only complaint might be the $9.50 price of beer, but the food was reasonably priced.
In our opinion, this is one of the best pizza restaurants in Winnipeg.
Everything about Royal Pizza is fantastic! Restaurant is always very clean and there's plenty of parking.
We've tried many selections from their menu and were never disappointed by how good the meals were...and of course, the pizzas are SUPERB! (Prices and portions are fine, despite a couple reviews claiming the opposite).
Staff are friendly, courteous, and truly...one feels 'at home' when dining in...wonderful place for a 'date night' dinner for sure :)!
