Excellent and frendly service, stellar pizza! Went with a group of around 20, they were able to accomodate us (with advance notice of course). Looking forward to going back!
Great patio! Food and drinks came out super fast, probably since they place the orders on an iPad. Pizza and beats were good! Cesar salad had much dressing.
I have only ever ordered takeout at this location. From my understanding this is basically like any other number of Pizza Hotline’s in the city.
Service is as you’d expect. Pizza is also as you’d expect. Honestly, I come here for their amazing value. Their pizzas will feed A LOT of people for not a lot of money. I can’t say it’s the best pizza I’ve ever had, but for the price it certainly has its place!
The Swizzle Styx dined here this week & I must say I was pleasantly surprised! The decor & atmosphere was great and the service was very good. We had antipasto which was awesome, chicken wings which were good, and pizzas were outstanding. We will be back.
This was a great place to enjoy a good pizza and drinks. Price is on par and food was excellent. I did have an issue tho as I had chicken on my pizza. Being a chef myself, my knowledge of food is very knowledgable. The chicken wasn't real, was a processed kind you get from McDonald's nuggets. Many restaurants will go this route to save money as there is a huge price difference between this and a chicken breast. The texture was awful so I mentioned it to our server which she sent the manager. He proceeded to tell me it was real chicken and kept arguing about it which is where I was beginning to get a bit frustrated. They did replace it with their "salad" chicken which turned out to be exactly what it should have been in the first place. After that, we finished our pizzas and it was well Balanced and full of flavor. This was my only downfall of this place. Overall good experience.
You get exactly what you pay for, not a health choice, but never once a disappointment. Moderation is the key with pizza and Hotline will suit your needs every step of the way. 211 orders on file! Well enjoyed with friends over beer or whatever pleasure you may indulge in; 222 be there for you.
The atmosphere is great! Very nice interior and friendly prompt staff. Gluten free pizza is delicious, even my fiance and his brother liked the gluten free crust more than their regular crust. Food is reasonably priced, however drinks are extremely expensive. My new favorite pizza place!
This was always a great place for a date night, and decided to try it now with the new renovations and expansion. We decided to sit out on the patio and I was noticing everyone had the stone fired pizza at there tables. Caesars were on special for $4! How can you not order it! So we ordered two Caesars and a stone fired margherita pizza. I have to say it was absolutely wonderful and the service was pleasant and very attentive ( I can't remember his name but young handsome black man....definitely get him as your server. The inside is very well designed spacious, chic and clean.... I do have to say though I miss the large tree with the patio lights and the chandelier curtained booths though (much more romantic and private) but beautiful non the less. The pizza was nice and crispy and chewy dough, might suggest a tad more salt in the sauce but we still loved it. Bill with taxes came to $22.60 for two cocktails and a pizza! We will definitely be going back again for date night! I didn't notice if they still had the antipasto platter from the old menu, but I hope they do and if not you can request it because it's fabulous!
A pleasantly surprising upgrade to the cafe with the recent renovations. Good food and the service was okay. Very affordable. It was and continues to be my "cheap pizza" go to.
Great place and environment . Beautifully build inside. Went to grab late night munchies with a friend . Not alot of vegetarian option but have good bar n crowd.
My friend and I were just about to cancel dinner plans going down the Corydon strip, until we came upon this place. We knew it was part of Pizza Hotline, so we knew it is decently priced! $21 split between the both of us and still have left overs? Can't go wrong. :)
The waitress was nice and accommodating, the coolie dough cheese cake was the best part of the dinner. I am definitely coming back again to try the other stuff on the menu. I had the fettuccini chicken alfredo, pepperoni cheese sticks, and some type of vegetable pizza on a slab (of which name I cannot remember - same with the server's).
Overall experience was great. No complaint.
Always a great experience :). Café 22 Corydon is definitely a favourite spot of mine.
Cool atmosphere to pre game with some cheap drinks and great pizza, or a romantic date night.
The servers are all super friendly and really give great service. Very attentive every time I have gone.
AMAZING wine selection. Unlimited topping pizza including gluten free.. All of the old faves on the old menu seem to be back.
Also excited to see what happens with expansion.
The Unlimited is BACK!!!!!!. OMG! I just went to Cafe 22 on Corydon last night...the 15 inch unlimited pizza is BACK! Thank you, thank you, thank you Cafe 22
Loved every bite, service was great! I will be back this weekend with my friends
Keep Coming Back. A friend introduced me to this place at the end of this summer and I keep going back. The atmosphere is wonderful, food tastes great, and a variety of options at the bar. Food and drinks are incredibly cheap so it is a great place to go if you like going out but don't want to spend to much money. Nice place in a nice neighborhood.
New favourite restaurant!!!. Tried cafe 22 for the first time last weekend, My friend had suggested it for our girls night out cause of their great selections of wine. It is so classy inside! The service was great, our server was always smiling and had an awesome personality she suggested we try the tuscan chicken penne pasta. OMG it was to die for! definitely going back all the time, cafe 22 gets a 10 out of 10 in my books.
Great Pizza, Delicious.. Never disappointing. One of the my favorit place.
Great food,great service.
Cheap Pizza with some Atmosphere. As most of you know, Cafe 22 is the store front of Pizza Hotline. Despite the fact that pizza hotline pizza is super cheap and mediocre pizza at best when you have it delivered. The pizza you get while sitting down at Cafe 22 is seemingly undertaken with some more care. The atmosphere is dimly lit, bucket like seated tables, or round private feeling booths, a large artificial tree with lights spanning the entire ceiling, usually mostly soundless sports on ceiling mounted TVs, and not too loud music playing. $17.99 for a 15" unlimited toppings (some 30 toppings) pizza with the choice of regular, thin, or deep dish style, on white or whole wheat crust, is very reasonable. Their calzones are pretty good as well. As for as other food, I am unsure why one would go to a Pizza Hotline restaurant and order anything other than a pizza-like item, but I really have no opinion. That all being said, the experience there is completely contingent on your server. Usually your server is reasonably prompt, attentive and pleasant. Sometimes, quite rarely, you will get a server who is NOT prompt, NOT attentive, and NOT pleasant. Having to get up yourself with your empty glasses and go to the counter to get a refill from somebody other than your server because she is too busy texting. In fact, this has only ever happened to me twice, out of about 40 instances of patronage, and I have never seen the same bad server their more than once. Cafe 22 on Corydon is my standard, I want to sit down and eat cheap but good pizza place to go. I refer to it as my "fallback" restaurant.
CALZONE! CALZONE!. This small restaurant tucked in Corydon is dimly lit with lights strung throughout. Cute booths, a quiet back room, and comfy seats to have a few drinks and snacks with friends. Cool vibe. Although this restaurant is popular, lots of people have not tried it (no doubt assuming that the quality of pizza is poor). The assumption would be totally wrong. Fast food prices, but not quality. For less than $10, you can get the most amazing calzones in the city - gourmet toppings such as sundried tomato, artichoke heart, proscuitto, etc. and the standard pepperoni, mushroom toppings. Did I mention that the toppings are UNLIMITED for the same price? Since I discovered the calzones years ago, I have never turned back. The flavor is only limited by creativity (or bravery) --- so good. With a beer or two, this is the perfect treat for dinner.
Super cute! 4.5 / 5.. I just discovered this cute place last week with my sister! I love the atmosphere, and the pasta is yummy, with pretty good portions for the price! Its a place i dont need to spend alot of money and still feel like im going out for a nice treat! So far i havent had great service. However im a server myself and cant stand slowww waitresses! Other then the service! Its great!
Fav place for our late night date. Service is mediocre and the food is great but no wow factor. I go there because the decor is really nice and welcoming
Had the Chicago deep dish pizza with a friend. And thy brought out this gigantic pizza that tasted incredible. Definately worth the 20$ and will be back again!
Cute place. I think of all the places that serve Pizza Hotline pizza, this is my favourite location. I also love the dark decor, loungy seats and the white white lights hanging everywhere. It's a great place to have a coffee with a friend or a place to drop by for some cheap and decent pizza.
Amazing!. Excellent portions. Great food along with fabulous service. It doesn't matter what you order you will always be pleased!
Just went to this place today. Was really looking forward to a variety of cuisine. A great place which was really packed, which indicates it's popularity. Has a really ranged menu, focused on Italian cuisine. The Alfredo Fettuccine pasta was a standout. The wings offered had a wide selection of sauces. Though something unique to try would be Applewood rub. Moreover the pizza has a wide option choice as well, the only sad part about it is it's portion, though the price is justified by its size. Moreover a wide range of drinks are offered, I tried Caesar for the first time in my life, though not a fan of tangy taste, it felt refreshing. The staff was friendly and great. The only reason for the 4 stars is that the place is rather conventional, though the quality is great all the products are easily available. But yeah it's a great place to go if you feel like trying Italian cuisine in a great vibe place.
Beautiful restaurant, the best pizza of any places I’ve ever tried. The place was full and we were placed in the lounge (which is the best area and has such a nice beautiful placement of plants). Prices are so low for the amazing quality; they got fire roasted pizzas and you can TASTE it. Also the waitress was very kind.
Pizza and Salads here are some of my favourites. I always get either the Cobb or Mista and for pizza the truffle or Italian are just amazing. Great patio on a sunny day and nice “evening feel” for a night out
Marina Havard (Marishinka)
+5
Edit. Walked in and the vibe was back. It’s super cool and laid back. You can mask or not. No one felt bad. All good.
Family pizza quick and hot. Owner always there making sure quality is good.
Ate on the patio recently and my kids loved the wood fired pizza (4 cheese) and I loved the roasted beets with goat cheese.
Delicious pizza and wings at this restaurant. We have been a few times and have always enjoyed the food. You can design your own Stone Fired pizza, or choose from a few very good combinations. We ordered the Classic today - pepperoni and mushroom and basil on a San Marzano tomato sauce base with lots of cheese. We substituted the garlic oil for a balsamic vinegar drizzle on top - it was very nice. The basil was so fresh - a perfect topping on any pizza. My husband ordered the Calzone - designed his own - pepperoni, bacon, mushrooms and red peppers and cheese. Calzone was very good. We had an order of wings as an appetizer - Smoked Applewood rub was a very nice flavour. Wings were delicious. The servers are friendly. Atmosphere is great - nice music in the background, several large rounded booths, comfortable chairs, regular chairs and lounge type chairs. You can sit by the bar, and they have a patio open all summer. We would definitely go again.
Thankful for a late night drink with a show stopper of 'Cinnamon sticks' which was a delicious pizza. Mmm. Only complaint is of the young girls beside us, talking way too loudly about how much they hated their jobs... And then tried to recruit the server to come work at their restaurant!!
