Atmosphere was great and spotless! Sushi was delicious and the tempura shrimp.....wow! I will return many times.
large menu, great service from this two person operation, fresh and friendly. Accommodating for special requests( they make a green roll- no rice- no nori--- great for low carb diet!)
We enjoyed every minute. It was our children's first experience with sushi and they helped them discover what they like and don't like. Super friendly. Excellent food. Fun service.
Such good sushi! Great flavor, fresh fish, and such friendly staff. One of my top picks for sushi places in the city.
Excellent food. Great prices. The owners are sooooo nice! It's the only place I ever go for sushi.
Sushi delight is my favourite restaurant! The service is incredible and the food tastes amazing. The owners make you feel like a part of the family and the prices are extremely reasonable. I think it's a great spot to take a date or come with family and friends. If you don't live in the area it is definitely worth the drive! I have been coming here for years and would not prefer to go anywhere else! I recommend this place to everyone I know even if they are not a sushi lover because their teriyaki dishes are also amazing!
Perfect place for an intimate meal with your significant other. Whenever my SO and I go we always feel like were the only ones there. Been going for years and will always be our go-to sushi place. The prices are reasonable and the fish always taste fresh but the best part about this restaurant are the owners!! They are super nice and will always welcome you with a smile. We recommend the salmon sashimi and the mango tango sushi roll.
This has been my go to place for 3 years now. Hands down one of the best sushi resteraunts in Winnipeg. The owners are SO nice and treat you like their children. The food is outstanding and the fish is always fresh. Prices are reasonable and the portions are huge. Sometimes a bit of a wait but it is always worth it. Great place to take non fish eaters because the stir fry is one of the best in the city as well. A must try. Crazy love roll is my favorite.
My partner and I have been going back to Sushi Delight for over 2 years, I think its time to leave a review.
What I like the most about this place are, the freshness of the food and THE OWNERS. Every single time we go back they always have a smile on their face. Sure, the decor is simple but for me thats fine. Their sashimi is always prepared carefully with ice at the bottom to keep it cold and fresh and not a lot of restaurants do that. Also, Sushi Delight's taste is nice and not overwhelming. EVERY SINGLE sushi taste different. I found that some restaurants especially sushi restaurants have a very hard time putting a distinct taste on each roll, because the ingredients are quite similar with other rolls. If I was to critique them super hard it would be that extra waiting time, its the reason for that 4.5 rating. For me honestly Id rather wait for a little bit more to get delicious food and great service. But, If you want fresh tasting and rolls that you wont get tired of, I strongly recommend Sushi Delight.
Sushi was delicious and we even ordered seconds. Price is very reasonable and the atmosphere was very nice. The server was also really cute and swee t and I wanted to give her a 50% tip. Would definitely come back 👌
Love the service, love the food, love the ambience...family owned restaurant where the husband cooks and the wife serves...great tasting food. In fact we'll be heading there after work today! Love their chicken roll & chicken teriyaki!
May look unappealing from the outside, but inside it is pretty nicely decorated. The sushi isn't too bad for the price. About $4-5 per roll. Beef teriyaki with rice was good. Had tons of meat whereas other places wouldn't. Friendly service. Will return.
I've been to Sushi Delight a few times already and have never thought to write a review. I feel I owe it to write one since they've been satisfying my sushi cravings lately. The restaurant is located right at the corner of Keewatin and Notre Dame - not the most aesthetically pleasing of locations, but the husband and wife duo offer a wide variety of items to choose from. The sushi is of quality, and boasts of generous amounts of fish for a reasonable price. I've tried most of their special and regular rolls, and all of them are very good. However, the menu does not describe which rolls will come out deep fried as I prefer the raw fish rolls 😊I think I might have even turned my dad into a new sushi fan.
Just ate here. Spectacular service and some of (if not the) best bakudan and california roll I've ever eaten. The dynamite speaks for itself. Great prices and I would highly recommend giving it a try!
Cozy atmosphere, super friendly husband & wife run place. Have never had a bad experience here. Excellent value! Creamy yam roll and crazy love roll are my favs. Everything is delicious and priced just right! I keep coming back for more! My only disappointment is smelling like a deep fryer for hours after I leave, the building's ventilation could be improved. But I don't mind smelling like tempura if I get to stuff my face with tasty sushi :P
Best sushi I have had in a long time. Great selection with things like noodles and dumplings which are all delicious. Definitely worth a trip
Warm and comfy atmosphere, great music. And great food! The staff was welcoming and even though I ate to go, they made my wait for food very pleasant
Their sushi is pretty good, the prices are about average compared to other places. It's a family run place and the food is made with the utmost care and quality. The favourites were the volcano roll, spider roll, and spicy bakudan rolls. Very well done! Next time we're in Winnipeg we're going to try more stuff.
I've been coming here for years, so a review is way past due. This place is awesome! I love the food, and the owners are so friendly. It's a husband and wife team, where the husband is the chef and the wife does everything else.
The sushi is the best I've had in the city. (Which is why I continue to go back). They don't overdo the amount of rice in their rolls, instead they load them with the good stuff;shrimp, scallops, avocado, mango, etc, depending, of course, on what rolls you order. Unlike other places that use a lot of rice to fill you up, and skimp on the meat, vegetables, etc.
If you're a fan of sushi, you need to try this place out, you won't regret it!
I'd never heard of this sushi place before, but it came up on my Zomato under St. James Assiniboia (where I live) and the photos looked great so we decided to give it a go.
It's on Keewatin, so I wouldn't personally consider it in St. James but I guess that's what the areas parameters are defined as. Its a small restaurant with 8-10 tables, a cozy little place. We went on a Friday night, so there were a steady volume of guests and service was reasonable.
We absolutely had to order the tuna nachos appetizer after seeing it on Zomato. It consists of 6 thin wonton nachos topped with spicy sesame tuna mixed with avocado, topped with a jalapeño slice and tobiko (orange fish eggs). It did not disappoint!
We ordered four rolls for the two of us, the dynamite roll, spicy roll, calamari roll and the crazy love roll. They all came with 6 pieces except for the crazy love, which came with 8. It was a lot of food, I would say the rolls looked bigger than most other places we go to. For me, the dynamite roll was the highlight as I've ordered dynamite many times before but this was the best I'd ever had.
Overall, it was a good experience and I liked how they put a glass carafe of water onto the table so we didn't have to wait for refills. Great little place.
I also checked out this restaurant because of the high ratings and the lower price point. I found it to be pretty good, but definitely not worth the top rating it was given. The quality is good for the price point. Will definitely go back though.
This sushi resto is, hands down, my favorite! The owners are very friendly and courteous. As there are only 2 people working (the owners prepare and serve the food) the wait times can be longer than expected, anywhere from 25-40 minutes depending on how busy the restaurant is. Â I love that they use very little rice and are generous with the meat filling (if you're a raw sushi lover, try the crazy love roll and you'll know what I'm talking about). I also appreciate that they use VERY little fillers that most sushi resto's use, such as cucumber, tempura bits, etc. The best part is their menu doesn't break the bank. I can't complain!
Good sushi for a decent price. The place also looks great on the inside, don't be misled by the exterior and location! Lovely old couple that run it too.
One of the best pound 4 pound sushi restaurants in the city! IMHO they have great prices for top quality sashimi and healthy portions. Because it's owned and operated by a cute elderly couple it has a quaint and maybe even a romantic atmosphere. You're always greeted with a smile.
If you aren't in a rush and want to enjoy excellent sushi at a reasonable price...this place is it.
Must try the mango prawn roll!
As long as their prices don't rise I'm a lifetime customer here.
Cute and quaint little place. Prices are decent, and they don't skimp out on portions. Their rolls are good, never had any complaints. This is my go to!
The reviews online were pretty good for this place so thought I'd check it out.
Ordered takeaway from this place, I'm only staying 5min away so I knew quality couldn't degrade that quickly.
The spicy tuna and river eel roll were pretty average. This place wasn't bad but I probably wouldn't rate it as highly as others have.
Was expecting a little better. Sushi was good, but not really good. We waited forever to get served, no water given. I prefer Sushi Cushi or Sushi N.
Dynamite Roll. From the lunch menu

One of the best Sushi spots in Winnipeg. The owners put a lot of pride in their food clearly - consistently great tasting and portions. Very friendly, and especially fast for lunch.

Sushi on Notre Dame is a cute little sushi restaurant owned by the CUTEST couple ever. The sushi is pretty good and really good service. Usually get the bakudan and a couple specialty rolls and everything I've tried is good. I come back for the super sweet couple who is there everyday. Always smiling and wanting to please their customers even though they don't speak English very well.
Fresh, Tasty, Reasonably Priced Sushi. Hi all,
Walked in late (9:30) and was treated very well even though they were closing at 10pm.
Very fresh sushi. Tasted fresh, not refrigerated. Sushi rolls were mostly fish and vegetables - not too much filler rice. Had Alaska roll, Prairie fire roll, California rolls, dynamite roll, miso soup, and others.
A Tupperware water pitcher is provided for you to fill your own plastic cups. The pitcher was appreciated. Don't expect really good water filling service.
That being said, the food comes out fast! All staff is very friendly and respectful.
Will definitely come again as I appreciate good food from family run restaurants. I don't care too much for the service as long as the food comes out quickly.
Everyone should check this place out. I've seen this restaurant hundreds of times over the last few years but it was only in August 2014 that we decided to try this Japanese restaurant situated in an odd location on Keewatin St. / Notre Dame avenue. If not for the very nice reviews here on urbanspoon we would never have tried it. The place is small, cozy and very humble. The food were reasonably priced and yes, they were cheap compared to what you would expect. The quality of the food is good and the service was very friendly. To sum it all up, the experience was great and I would not hesitate coming back to this place.

This place is my go to sushi place in Winnipeg. The sushi is amazing and the prices are not bad at all. It's about 4$ for a regular roll and 7$ and above the special rolls. What I love about this sushi place compared to other sushi restaurants I've been to is that they put a lot of meat in their rolls! Like fish, chicken or beef. And not too much rice compared to others. This place is a must and I recommend everybody to try it! Also, the owners are very nice and friendly! It's a couple I believe that owns this place. The place is very nice inside. Clean. Beautiful atmosphere and lovely music that plays in the background. Check this place out!
-----05 Nov, 2014-----
Best sushi place I have ever tried in the city for very reasonable prices! They put a lot of meat and/or veggies in the rolls and little or not too much rice which can be really filing! Many other sushi restaurants I've been too I feel like it's just a lot of rice and not so much of the main part. This place also I find their raw fish tastes so much more fresh compared to other places I've tried! Hands down one of the best sushi places in winnipeg and I always recommend this place to anybody who loves sushi! Staff is nice too. Owned by a very cute couple! This is my go to place for sushi!
The sushi really was a delight. We ordered gyoza, tuna nachos, bakudan roll, spider roll, real cali roll, and the house roll. The nachos were crispy and almost like they were made from wonton wrappers. They were topped with a mixture of tuna, mayo and hot sauce and jalapeños - but not too spicy! The rice was really soft, unlike hard rice you'll find at other sushi places in the city. The spider roll was my favourite; it was made exceptionally well and remained crispy. It tasted candied I think. Super good. Top that off with great service and friendly smiles from the staff and you've got a recipe for a great date night!

My FAVORITE Sushi Resto. I've been eating @ Sushi Delight since it first opened and I choose not to go anywhere else. I use to wonder what it meant when reading or hearing "food made with love". Well now I understand. The owners are a lovely couple who take pride in what they do, proven by their food presentation and more importantly, the taste...always fresh and delicious. We've tried many things on their menu and not once have we ever been disappointed. We especially love their shrimp tempura (best batter out there), chicken katsu, assorted sashimi and various sushi rolls. We keep coming back for more.
Excellent sushi.. wont go anywhere else. I love this place soo great.. food and staff amazing! since ive discovered this place i wont go anywhere else.. im so lucky i live and work close by.. not much driving needed :)
Love Love Love. Cannot say anything bad about this place. Always friendly service and great sushi!! So much to choose from! The Spicy Tuna Roll App is a must try! I also find it to be very relaxing, never crazy busy and no sense of urgency to eat and get out. Def need to keep this place around!!!!

Absolutely my favorite sushi place in Winnipeg!. Get the tuna nachos! So good.
All selections of tempura are good. I prefer the assorted because there's a nice mix.
I haven't had anything I don't like here, but my favorite rolls are the yam, munch munch, calamari, mango tango and caterpillar.
The prices are very reasonable also.
Depending on how busy it is, service can be a tad slow, but as long as you're not in a rush it's really no big deal. The sushi is worth the wait.
I bring all my friends here.
Pleasantly Surprised. I went here a couple of weekends ago. There was only one other table and a take out order in between. There were only 2 staff members. I'm assuming one was the sushi chef and the other seemed to be doing everything else. Service was fast. And she was very nice. Everything we ordered was good. I was surprised. I was expecting possibly.. Bad sushi rice. But I have no complaints at all. I also like the music playing in the background too. Lol. I actually think I prefer this place than Sushi Cushi in the area. Definitely will be back.
Really really good sushi and awesome clean decor....I come here often
WHY DID IT TAKE ME SO LONG TO COME HERE?!
I'm a hardcore sushi snob, so believe me when I say this place is hella good. And the staff? Cutest, nicest, sweetest people ever.
Best sushi place I've been to. I love sushi and like to try different spots around Winnipeg, and this is by far my favourite. Run by an amazing couple, they clearly take pride in their product. We go there for lunch at least once every week or two. You might miss it if you're not looking for it, but definitely seek it out. The interior is very nice, kept clean, it's never crazy-busy and the sushi is awesome. Try the green dynamite roll and the Hawaiian roll is also SO good. They have a great lunch special where you get miso soup, salad, two rolls and a side for $9.99. I agree with another reviewer on here -- don't let this place go out of business!
One of my new favs!!! If u .... One of my new favs!!!
If u want something other than sushi Cushi (one of my top affordable sushi places) u gotta try this place out! It's not in the greatest area but inside its cute and cozy. Owners are very nice and friendly. The service isn't the best at times cuz there's only one chef n server. However, the prices are cheap for good quality sushi! Plus they have a good selection of rolls to choice from. The sashimi is fresh and huge compared to other places. My favs: gomae with tuna, crazy love roll (If u like bukuduns, u gotta try this!), creamy yam roll, salmon sashimi and nigiri
This is my go to sushi place! I have been here numerous times and each time the service was awesome and the food was excellent!! Never been disappointed.

Love this place! Great ambience, the staff is fantastic and the food is amazing! I never write reviews but wanted to in this case, I highly recommend this restaurant.
Amazing food amazing service, fast service, great portions, love this place! Go there all the time. Wakame salad is good, everything really!
A Turn For the Better!. When my boyfriend and I first tried Sushi Delight during the summer, I was not too impressed. It's true that the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, and the interior was very cozy and beautiful but I found the sushi to be somewhat lacking. My original thought was that the fish was not very fresh. Their miso soup was bland, though their veggie rolls were good. (My only qualm with that is that I like fish in my sushi rolls.) I had visited the restaurant once or twice afterwards and always found the results to be the same. I had resolved to go elsewhere for my sushi fix from there.
Luckily, out of curiosity (and the lack of desire to cook) I decided to give Sushi Delight another try. I'm not sure if I had caught them on off days the first few times I tried it, or if they had changed something since but I was pleasantly surprised with how delicious everything I ordered tasted! The quality of the fish as of late has been fantastic, and as always, the staff is super friendly. I don't recall how the variety was when I first tried the restaurant but it is certainly impressive now, especially all the different appetizers. And there is a great selection for sushi (especially vegetarian options). The SPICY ROLL (tuna) and HOUSE BC ROLL are my absolute favorites!
I'm glad I took another chance with Sushi Delight, as they have not disappointed since.
WOWZERS!!! We were skeptic.... WOWZERS!!!
We were skeptical bc this place has been switched out so many times. We gave it a go and we weren't disappointed.
Definitely going again and again and again....
Not very busy but very good service. Sushi was nothing but ordinary. Had better sushi at other restaurants.
Sushi was really a delight!. I spent a majority of time on urbanspoon trying to find a new sushi restaurant for my family to try. I stumbled upon Sushi Delight and read the reviews. The reviews sounded good so I told my family we should eat there. However, we arrived at the restaurant at 10 (which is also there closing time) and saw one of the owners preparing to lock the door, we asked if we could still eat and they let us. As soon as they let us in I knew I would be writing a good review for them as soon as I got home. We were quickly seated and quickly ordered and the server was very friendly and quick.
Also, the inside was beautiful! I loved the design and the saying 'don't judge a book by its cover' really came into play here as the outside does look like a donut shop, but the inside is lovely.
We ordered the following dishes:
Miso soup - Delicious, but requires more tofu.
Sashimi - Beautiful presentation.
Agedashi tofu - Delectable.
Gyoza - One of my favourite dishes, absolutely divine!
Beef yakisoba - Absolutely scrumptious!
Cucumber roll, chicken teriyaki roll, & the rib eye roll were all served on the same plate with an exquisite presentation!
And to finish it off: mango and green tea ice cream! Which was a great finish to the meal!
My only concern is the water that they are serving isn't filtered and the communication between the server was a little difficult, but other than that, it was a spectacular dinner and is now my families go to Japanese restaurant!
I highly recommend this to EVERYONE. I assure you that you will not be disappointed!
WHAT A NICE SURPRISE!. Deceiving exterior, IMPRESSIVE work! What a great experience, very authentic & creative. Lots of veggie options that were appealing even to non vegetarian appetites! Hope word spreads so they can stick around... We don't exactly live in the area but will definitely become regulars :P
Pretty Good. I was currently there on a Sunday Evening and it was pretty quiet, but I could understand since it is in a location that most would normally drive to, rather than seemingly walking past.
the outside is fine, and clean, the inside has been renovated beautiful, compared to the Chinese restaurant it once was.
They have mostly rolls, rather than individual raw pieces (though they do have a selection), as some rather have. They have other options for starters, noodles, and vegetarian dishes and rolls.
We received while there:
raw tuna-was amazing and very fresh
raw salmon-was very fresh
pizza sushi
miso soup-wish it had more tofu and green onions
dynamite roll
bacudan roll
volcano roll-came with nachos as well
venus roll-beautifully rolled, presentation was amazing
chopped scallop roll
Overall it was a cute place that was very very clean, the staff was sooo eager to wait and help and made us feel very welcomed. I also liked that you could write down your order for them, easier to view what has been placed. It is a smaller place, maybe 12 tables, some 4 seats some 2 seats. But there is also a small sushi bar people can seat at, and lots of parking.
Presentation was amazing, rolls tasted fresh (not fishy at all), and they were very quick.
Atmosphere was beautiful and fresh (great for the area, as the rest of the area is sub-par)
There is not much to critique except for the water-it had a hint of dish soap taste to it, but then again at least i know it was washed LOL, but our glass that was given to us for our beer was fine, no dish soap LOL.

What an Absolute Delight !. My Little Sister and I were pleasantly surprised as we walked into the door of this exquisitely decorated restaurant. We loved the color of the green painted brick and the beautiful wooden sushi bar that was the centerpiece of the room.
A lovely Korean woman seated us and gave us water. We also had a pot of green tea.
We both started with Goma Ae which was made with perfectly cooked baby spinach and nicely dressed with a flavourful sesame sauce that was not overly sweet. An excellent start !
I then had Age Dashi Tofu which had a great crisp crust surrounding the tofu which did not fall apart in the broth. It wasn't an actual dashi broth, more like ponzu, but very tasty none the less.
My Little Sister always gets a Tiger Roll as she is still experimenting with sushi; she quite enjoyed it and is even starting to like the tobiko ! Good amount of fillings to rice ratio with this roll.
I enjoyed my sushi pizza which I have never tried before. It was a chewy rice patty topped with chopped scallop mayo tobiko, fried yam bits, salmon and a small amount of teryaki sauce. A very refreshing sushi treat !
We each finished with ice cream which was delicious !
Service here was the best with our hostess being so kind sweet and eager to please.
Highly recommend this place to all you sushi lovers !!
Hidden gem!. I live in this area and it was great to finally have a quality sushi place so close to home! I was wary at first because I had seen so many restaurants occupy that space and had never tried any of them, but I took a chance with Sushi Delight and was pleasantly surprised! The interior decor is so warm and inviting, it is very clean and the owners are very kind and polite. The service is fast and the sushi is absolutely delicious. I've ended up visiting this restaurant at least once per week in the past little while and plan to continue that trend - I hope others decide to support their business!
One of the best in town!. I absolutely love this place. I have returned countless times. Their nigiris are my favourite, the pieces thick and juicy, and so fresh too. The nigiri and rolls are never over stuffed with rice. I always order the scallop roll, it's delicious. The service is great! Very friendly and attentive.
Don't judge how it looks outside!. This place is fabulous. The building used to be a donut shop and looks easy to pass by, but once you arrive inside, you will be impressed how the owners have transformed the inside. It is gorgeous; modern Asian decorating. The sushi is also fabulous which is the most important thing. It seems like it is a Mom & Pop run place, and the Mom, although limited with her English, is super friendly and hospitable. Did I say the sushi is fabulous? I can't wait to go back. Give this place a try if you haven't already.
Sushi Delight Is Right. This little restaurant is gorgeous, unassuming and comfortable. The service is prompt and very friendly. The food is generous, creative and delicious. I go there regularly (once I found it!) and find it consistently excellent. It is a delight to have your expectations met , and then exceeded.
Friendly & delicious sushi. Very friendly staff, nice atmosphere, good quality sushi, and pretty good prices
I love this place!. The servers are very nice and fast, unlike the ones at Hanabis. The sushi is very good quality and is presented nicely. I am never disappointed. I recommend this place to everyone!
I fell in love.. BAD LUCK: I do agree that the location of Sushi Delight is one of the most infamous spots for a restaurant. Many have tried their luck and failed! I really hope that this doesn't become the case for Sushi Delight. I work at a high end sushi restaurant so I know my sushi -- I also know my service.
EATING AREA: The interior is beautiful, the music is always great and the service is always friendly. The restaurant really gives off a cozy and welcoming vibe.
FOOD: Their Bakudan roll is the best in the city. They give you a generous portion of maguro and it tastes phenomenal. Their volcano roll is a must try! I'm not a big fan of unagi so I substitute it with shrimp tempura: so good! They have original rolls that are priced for what they're worth. Although the Bakudan is cheaply priced, it is worth way more (I'm not complaining)!
ALL IN ALL: My boyfriend and I eat out for sushi twice a week (not so much lately since we're both back in university), but I truly do believe that this restaurant is the best in the city. It may not be the most flashy, but you'll never leave Sushi Delight unhappy. If you're looking for a chill place where you can enjoy some EXCELLENT sushi, this is the place for you. Be patient with the owners, they are Korean and aren't the greatest at English. They're always willing to learn so correct them if they're wrong (hehe).
Sushi Delight is a humble place owned by a humble family, and I sincerely wish them success. Please support them and give them a try.
LOVE IT HERE!. PROS: Cozy environment, good music, very kind service. Wife and husband are friendly and work hard to please their customers also very fast considering there are only two people working and 5 parties of 2-4 in the restaurant already. The menu is simple, different and original while the prices correlate well with quality and complexity of a roll. Very impressed by the large servings of FRESH sashimi served on ice. The bakudan is very spicy but I have never had one with the generosity of tuna as this restaurant presents it with; very good value for $4.30. Loved it! Try the kamikaze roll if you would like a less spicy alternative and like raw scallops, you will not be disappointed! This place is a hidden gem, and I hope that they remain consistent and generous with the care they put in their dishes that many other sushi places have lost over the years. I look forward to coming back and exploring their menu further.
CONS: Their location is in a very awkward place, and is also same location and building of many other failed restaurants. Parking is fair although squishy, and the exterior is very questionable but does not do justice to it's interior.
This is a great place to come for a good quality sushi fix. I feel it is a very honest and humble restaurant whose primary purpose does not steer solely towards profit or at least it doesn't make it obvious which is a huge turn off when it comes to sushi places. I.e. More rice than filling. Unlike that, this place actually provides you with substance!
anyway, TRY IT!
My wife has the pictures, but let me be absolutely clear. This couple not only wants you to enjoy the flavor but also the presentation too. We have been there maybe 10 times at least and have not been disappointed. Everything is so fresh and tastes amazing. No fishy smell. The price is a bit higher, but well worth it. It's a hidden gem!
Support Local! 9 years and now more than ever, we should support our favourite Sushi restaurant 💜
Wow, I cannot beleive I've been going here for over 8 years now. I have tried other sushi places (in this city and abroad), and I have to say, hands down, this is my favourite place.
Food: The food quality is amazing, they have a great selection of food and is suitable for vegetarians, people who eat sea food and people who eat chicken (so something for everyone!).
Location: This little restaurant is tucked away, off of Notre Dame, near Red River College. It is a small restaurant, but is only run by 2 people, the owners, so the size is perfect.
Parking: Parking is free and sufficient for the restaurant capacity. The lot is always clear of snow and easy to access.
Value: The value is amazing! The food quantity is amazing and the prices are reasonable. Some of the most affordable food of this cuisine I've seen!
Staff: Amazing. Husband and wife duo, you'll be greeted with smiles and served with the best in customer service.
I would highly recommend this place, whether it's for a dinner for 1, 2 or 10!
Started with spring rolls as appetizer, moved to the Volcano and Tiger Rolls, then had Beef an Chicken Teriyaki for Entree, with plenty of leftovers! The food was spectacular, atmosphere was cozy, staff were friendly, and the price was right!
This is a gem hidden in the North West end of the city.
Its run by a sweet Korean couple.
The prices are more than fair, the flavors are fine, and the fish to rice ratio one of the best in the city. The value is one of the best. I have had some have minor issues with the rice (I have very picky friends who also would complain about rice in a lot of the other restaurants), but aside from that, especially due to the price point, its very good.
I rarely order sashimi here. Well I did once and was not impressed. Their strong points are in their basic rolls. The california roll does not have real crab, but the amount of avocado is good and the fake Krab is flavored. Be wary of the sauces unless you like Korean sauce, I've had a few people complain. You can just request with the sauce on the side to be safe.
If its busy, the food may take awhile since everything is made fresh and there aren't that many people working in the kitchen.
wow. this place is my number one. i cannot describe how much me and my friend liked this place. it’s owned by a very polite couple and is quite small but very cozy! the food is absolutely exquisite. indescribable. you could taste every flavour individually, but also all together. we got 6 rolls and was under $40! great great price for great great quality. definitely recommend 10/10.
