Took my son and his future father-in-law for Sunday brunch. It was busy, but we were seated fairly quickly. The server took our drunk orders quickly. Once she took our food orders she was nowhere in sight. Seemed like for about twenty minutes we couldn't see any food leaving the kitchen, which was right in our sight line. Once the food came, it was luke warm. We were starved so we ate. The food was good and the quantities were great.

I ordered a sandwich with fries and a gravy on the side. The gravy was put on the fries, and both were cold, and the gravy was very lumpy. I had asked for salt, pepper and cutlery; which were not given, even when I asked if they were, and told yes? I had to ask to receive my drink. Then one of the servers gave me a dirty look and rolled her eyes?!? I ended up throwing all of it away, as the whole situation and food was disgusting. I absolutely do not recommend and will never be back! Now I know why the staff turn around is so high. All of this cost me close to $30 with tip! I’m so sorry I tipped them!!! Terrible food and service!!!

Meh, should've eaten somewhere else. Got seated (quickly) on a Sunday in the early afternoon. Waitress got us drinks, and we ordered. She seemed very protestant on me making modifications to my meal as I have dietary restrictions, so she ended up letting me order a seniors plate instead (over 55), which was nice of her. Food came in about 25 minutes, although it wasn't very good. My chicken was good, but the veggies were all green beans (even though on the menu it showed mixed veggies). My girlfriends plate was chicken tenders, which looked completely different then the picture in the menu. The breading was very dry and there was way too much of it, over half of the tenders were breading. The gravy was very lumpy, tasted decent but that's because I was hungry. Fries weren't very good either and she didn't like the coleslaw. Overall I wouldn't come back here for the food, McDonalds down the street tastes better in my opinion.

We stopped in this morning for breakfast, and our server Jay was superb. He greeted us with a smile, and our food was on the table in minutes. Things were busy, but he checked in with us, topped up coffee, and was a total pro from start to finish. Give this man a raise!

First time there in 3 years.Everyone was so friendly even the other customers,I think we were all happy to be out. The staff friendly professional and food was great! The coupons were an added bonus as it was an affordable time out. Would highly recommend Salsbury House on Leila.

Ordered Kickin Chicken....took a little longer than expected HOWEVER, the front staff were personable and the young man who brought the order out (I'm going to assume it was the cook) made up for it! Very hospitable, professional and the food was fresh! This is the 2nd time ordering in the last week (which is not usual for us) and I would definitely recommend it!

Food was made perfectly. Salisbury house is one of the few restaurants that manage to maintain consistent food preparation and quality. Our server was very attentive and processed our orders correctly

Took my family for lunch here today and will be the last time. When we arrived it was quite busy so we were well aware there would be a bit of a longer wait, however, we waited over an hour for our food, again it’s one thing if this is because they are busy but tables who were seated long after us were already getting their food, eating and leaving. I could see part of our order sitting back there under the warmer for 15 minutes before - server finally grabbed it… not even our server. when the food was brought to us, all the food was cold and when told our server that it’s most likely cold because we seen it sitting there for 15 minutes before she said that “it wasn’t that long”, didn’t offer an apology, solution, nothing. after that she completely avoided us and our section and had other staff come serve her section and purposely stood behind the counter talking and pointing at us. Our two kids went through their whole meal with no drinks because she refused to come check on us assuming out of embarrassment. It was an AWFUL experience and we will never be back.
