I've been to over 300 Applebee's locations and this one is tied with the others for being the best.
The service was amazing and my meal was out within 10 minutes. Will definitely recommend
Good food friendly service. Had a private room for 16 food arrived at the same time for everyone.

My wife and I were out recently and went to Applebee's (fort garry) for dinner.
We heard that they had played with the menu to attract a younger crowd and that the effort had bombed. So they are working on getting the older crowd back. Well it's going to work.
The decor has changed. The bar, which used to feature prominently in the middle of the room is gone. It may just be out of site of the front door, but it's a significant change.
The food was good. It arrived in a timely fashion, was hot, and was what we were expecting. The servers were good. I'm weary of being asked about "those first few bites", just ask me if the meals are okay and if there is anything else I'd like? I think it's the pat question more than the intention that bugs me.
I really liked the sound level, I could hear and be heard. I'm not a soft spoken person. There is a desperate need among restaurants to get off the kick of cheap open plan which are "lively!" A code word for "so noisy you can't hear anyone at your table".
We will be back.
Despite the super long wait for a server to come by and for my food to get to me, it was a really nice experience. Great food and nice atmosphere. Ordered the 7oz steak with veggies and crispy cheddar bacon potatoes as a main and 2 slices of garlic bread with cheese to start. The triple chocolate meltdown was decent but overall a really satisfying evening.

Lovely. I notice quit a few bad reviews but they are based off 2013/2012, I have gone to this location 3 times in the past 4 months and the first time was not the best experince but the location was able to get in contact with me about my experince and ever since then every time has been awesome! I've tried a few of their burgers, avocado burger w/ fries, cowboy burger /w fries, the multi platter appetizer, beer prezetls with cheese sauce to dip, shrimp & parm steak, sangria, summer breeze, caeser. I can honestly say this is the only Applebee's location I will visit, since they renovated the location its been awesome and the enviroment has a nice vibe. The waitress I had tonight was very friendly and checked on us the right amount of times. Tonight I tried the Shrimp & Parm Steak meal which comes with garlic mashed potatos, & steamed veggies and I got my potatos with bacon & sour cream, it was amazing, I always say if a place can make me my steak right that they have won my heart and they did spot on with all the food plus service.
I recommend you check out this location if you haven't since the renovations, I feel they fully improved all services since then and you need to give them another try.
They definately have "chef mic" working here.

We haven't been to Applebee's in years, we had a great experience at this location. Our son has just moved into his first place just down the street and he has been in there on a few occasions for their drink specials. The food is good the prices are decent and the staff are friendly. I would recommend this Applebee's to anyone who ask for a good restaurant in this area.
The restaurant looked quite a bit different than the last time I was at Applebee's. It was really nice & but the service was a little slow. The meals were very tasty. The crunchy onions really added a unique taste to the Cowboy Burger.
We have not been there in about a year. We were very impressed in the value and quality of food that was offered, service was great as well. We will be going back soon
Their food are in general salty for me but it is probably just me. Their food is pretty good. Display of the food can be improved when is served to the table (ex. Salmon dish) but other like butter cream walnut blondie was pretty good (little salty...). Butcher's meat and potato was fantastic.
Amazing taste, great menu, great service, very reasonable price, great for family and friends or even if you are alone and a great environment. Would give it six stars!!!
