By far the best wings we've had here in Winnipeg. We went for lunch today and we were really impressed! A huge selection of dry wings and sauced wings. I had the dry dill wings and the sauced dilly ranch, both were full of flavour and cooked perfectly. They also had a few other menu items that looked good if you're not wanting to get wings. A must try if you haven't yet, you won't be disappointed.
They just catered my friends wedding and it was the best food at a wedding I have ever had. From the home made chips and dip, the chicken, the vegan porteballa mushrooms!!! I can not say enough good things about this place. I would highly recommend them !!!!
If you appreciate great tasting food, appreciate this place it's most Deffinatly that place you want to take a friend and be praised for the suggestion after. Genuine 100% owner operated service and the food and environment your friend and there friends will want to snap up a bite to eat. This is that place when you say I know a place. I'll be back without a doubt.. Thank you for making my day guys!!!
The wings and fries were top notch and the best taste sensation this side of the galaxy. I'd recomend to anyone who has a moderate to diverse pallette, good sized portions prices reasonable but the vibe and style were by far the coolest since Underground Pizza Works broke the mold.
Wifi plugs at all tables, Game consol corner and many vids TV's to choose from. Great server and prompt and genuine service. The light alt reggae was an awesome hip playlist and gave an on vacation feel to the whole experience. Found a great new spot to chil over dinner or snack and beers.
Seeking coolness during a heat wave, we walked to this neighbourhood diner from my house. Ordered the $35 wings/pitcher deal and as usual, it was very adequate for 2 people. Our waitress was very thorough and attentive. The keg ran out as she was filling our order as she explained it would take a few more minutes. She brought us the half pitcher and when the new keg of Farmery was hooked up, she brought us another completely full one :) We couldn't decide on dips, so we were given a sampler plate of 4 types. Loved the pineapple curry one! Huge wings, extra crispy. I love the dive vibe. Come as you are. You wont be disappointed!
Delicious wings!!! Thank you also for the staff who served us last night at Emmanuel church in Leila Ave. For coming even though it was raining and staying till midnight just so we can have those yummy wings! We asked them to come out to an event we hosted so that people can buy food, on a rainy night, in a certain place we requested, and there was no problem with that! This is the place you recommend to your friends and you won't be scared that they'll get disappointed. Fantastic wings + friendly/awesome staff = loyal customers!
We googled "the best wing place in Winnipeg" and boom it didn't disappoint!

Hands down - best wings in town. Perfectly breaded. Perfectly sized. More flavors than you may be able to try in a lifetime. Go eat here!
Just came from my friends wedding where they catered the meal and the chips and dip were amazing and the beat vegan portabello mushroom I have ever had, they did an amazing job!!! I can't wait to try more of their food!!!
Alex, the manager at Little Bones, is absolutely awesome to work with. He is super calm under pressure and will really go above and beyond to make sure your experience at his restaurant is as smooth and as great as possible. 100% would recommend.
Been coming here for a few years and I’ve always had a great experience! Great prices, amazing wing flavours and courteous staff!
Ordered through skip the dishes for the hundredth time, delicious as always! They forgot my salad but I called & they knew right away, and corrected it for next time.. amazing customer service!!
The first time i had little bones was when they were just a food truck. Just as good then as they are now! And now they have way more choices. I love it!
I only order from food trucks or through delivery, I don’t go to the resto. Wings have a variety of flavours to choose from. It’s quality wings. Owner is very nice and friendly. It’s a go-to for takeout or delivery when you’re craving wings.
Hands down my favourite wings in the city. A little pricier but the wings are huge. One of the only downsides is too many options; I can never make up my mind! The "From The Bayou" and "Sriracha Pineapple" are two of the best flavors I've tried!
I’m a vegetarian and tried the vegetarian “not wings” the first time we went. I don’t know if it was the sauce (which was HDLPT), it was very saucey but I think because they’re not real wings they get soggy because of it and I didn’t love them. The second time we went I got the cauli bites and trickles frickles. We tried the cream garlic sauce which was fantastic and the buff ranch which was good. I really like both the tickles and the caulibites and would definitely order them again.
If you want really good wings in a no frills, extremely wing focused environment this is your place. I love Little Bones, worth the drive from anywhere within 2 hours of their door. Beer selection could be better and more local, but I go for wings...lots and lots of wings!!
Long review time! So let me start out by saying I've been to Little Bones Wings a ton of times the past couple years, and each time has been amazing but I've never written a review. But... the last time we went was this past weekend and I had to write a review about it.
The servers are always polite, the food is always great and the service is always timely. It is a little small inside but there's always take out!
My boyfriend (meat eater), sister (vegan) and I (vegetarian) went and ordered our faves, fried pickle chips, fried mushrooms, mac n cheese bites, and wings, bone in for him and veggie "tofu" wings for my sister and I, and the waitress told us she had to check for veggie wings so we were like "oh no if there's none what will we do they're our favorite!" Sadly she came back to say they didn't have any but she could offer us cauliflower which was alright with me but they had milk so my sister couldn't have them, SO the waitress ended up calling the owners and they drove to the store to buy tofu, while we happily waited about half an hour for them. It arrived, they were made fresh and brought to us right away, and it was so worth the wait. We left with full tummies like usual, and leftovers! We will be life time customers of Little Bones Wings and we always look forward to our night there every few months, thank you for catering to all us veggie eaters! We would go more often but we live 8 hours away 😭😭 Thank you LBW ❤️🐔
I love this place! The lack of visible signage is one of the few negatives I have. The decor is quaint, the staff is friendly, the food is awesome. Their ratings of their wings are quite accurate, so be wary if you decide to try the Death Wings. As far as wings go, its on of the best places in the city.
Hands down the best wings I have ever tasted. They are meaty and fresh - apparently never frozen. And the 75 flavours are incredible. Had excellent service from Carla. She was very knowledgeable and had great recommendations. Have already tried about 15 different flavours and they have yet to disappoint. Love the salads too - chicken Caesar, taco, slaw. All are excellent. And Farmery Beer on tap to compliment it all. Going to be a regular.
Great wings, ate at their restaurant which has a cozy laid back dive bar feel. The wing sauces are so good. The sweet chilli teriyaki and the bayou with a kick were our favourites. In fact that bayou sauce might be one of the worlds tastiest sauces hands down. They also offer vegan wings which is great for those who eat less or no meat. They look boring but actually have a great light crisp to them and juicy in the centre so the texture is perfect to soak up the sauce. Got a chance to talk to the owner some too, he seems like a really great guy with a great local business. Now we order a snack every time we see the truck at events!
I eat here all the time! I mean, I am the founder, but you'd think after 5 years one would get sick of eating the same menu all of the time. However, that is not the case! With 50+ Flavours and such a variety of other menu items, there's something for everyone, any day of the week! Oh yah, did I mention we have been voted "Best Wings in Winnipeg" three times!? Come check us out!
Been there twice now. Both visits were excellent. No issues. Got 4 dozen wings. Saucy and nice size. Why does this app require you to type 140 char. Should rate this app!
Cool atmosphere. Staff were friendly. Prices were decent. The flavours were lacking, though. The 4star spicy meter was way off, but the 5star was great. Would have liked more flavour on every wing we got.
On my first visit I didn't have their wings, only a build-your-own burger, and a coated, fried hotdog; however I thought, if these items were any indication of the quality of their signature wings, I am hooked, and will be back often. I loved the soft bun and freshness of the ingredients on the burger, and the crispy hot dog was unique and awesome!
On my second visit a few days later, I tried the 'smokey ranch' wings. Seasonings aside, the wings themselves were very good... not mushy but crispy and coated well.
I can't wait to try everything on the menu :)
This is the best wings in the city. Not one of the best, but THE BEST. They have the most interesting flavour choices by far. Their wings are always served hot, juicy, and fresh. And their regular wings are just flavourful from the outside to the inside. My fave here is their Honey Garlic, Lemon Pepper, and By the Sea (sea salt and vinegar). But if you want something unique, I would highly recommend their All Mighty Za wings which is every foodies wetdream of wings combined with pizza. It's just fantastic! The draw back is the wait time though. This place could be understaffed at times, but it's forgivable due to how awesome and friendly the owner and the staff are here. Again, the BEST IN THE CITY!
I've been wanting to try this restaurant for a while, so why not during the grey cup. I'm glad I did!
I had the double bacon cheese burger. The patties were thick and hand made fresh and the bun was nice and soft. I ordered it with the teriyaki mayo, which I found a tad on the sweet side by the end, but still tasty. There wasn't much else between the bun but beef bacon and cheese. But who's complaining?
This place has sauce options... I only scratched the surface. The wings I ordered were the "byou with bite" and were the right amount of spice if your looking for something not overwhelmingly hot and more flavourful then just franks. They were Dripping in sauce with a nice crispy bite.
I plan on exploring more saucy wing options...
I am a regular at Little Bones Wings for one good reason ... they have the best wings ever!
My favourite is their Franks Dry Rub. I also love their Zorro which is a gingery orange yummy sauce.
The owner is in his twenties and is very passionate about his business here in Winnipeg. The environment is fun and my boy loves to come play their SNES and eat their plain boneless wings.
Keep it up!
Great selection of sauces for your wings. I ordered the honey garlic and hot spicy chicken and was very tasty. The spicy wings goes well with a cold beer-LOL. They also have a food truck parked around the city. I will definitely go back to try other flavours.
I enjoy Little Bones! Not the cheapest wings you can get but their sauces are unique and delicious. I enjoy the "spicy hot spicy" which is flavorful but doesn't burn your tongue. Wings are always fresh!

We love Little Bones Wings. Best wings in the city, and no disappointments. Sweet Creamy Garlic are my ultimate favorite. If you've tried the rest, it's time to try THE BEST!
Huge meaty wings with a ton of different sauces and coating options. Very tasty! I'm not huge into really spicy stuff, but 2/5 stars on their rating should probably have more kick than the 'On The Bayou' and caribbean something-or-others did. More beer options would be nice. Service was great and it was nice an cozy for being a basement joint. If you want a window, this isn't the place for you.
Would go again!
Best Wings in Town. After hesitating about visiting this little place in downtown T-cona (it's under the Royal George afterall, who would want to visit?!), I finally conceded to going with a few friends and this place was fantastic! I had ordered 2 orders of wings, the Pineapple Curry and the HDLPT (honey dill, lemon pepper tango) and they were so delicious. They were filling, tangy, saucy and delightful. On a second visit I had the backyard BBQ (mmmm) and the regular dill pickle, unfortunately they weren't that great, they were dry with a TON of dill seasoning on them, but I just dipped them into the sauce of the BBQ ones and they tasted pretty good.
I really like the atmosphere and yes it can take a while to get your food, but you really get a vibe for chilling with friends and enjoying the night out for wings. This place has renewed my love for wings I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to get out with friends and enjoy some great wings.
Salt and Pepper and Sweet Chilli Teriyaki. The wings were so yummy!! I got salt & pepper and sweet chilli teriyaki, and my husband got poutine and honey dill. All 4 flavours were so good! Will definitely go back to try more.
Had their deep fried pickles, onion blossoms and ranch wings last night. The food was awesome. Would definitely eat there again. Serving time was reasonable considering that the restaurant and the bar were full. Great food you need to eat here.
We went to Little Bones last night which is now located in the basement of the Royal George Hotel on Regent. They have tons of flavours of wings. We had three different kinds and they were all great. We also had their checker fries which were good too. Only issue we had was you get charged for every drink you order. My husband had two iced teas and each were $2.25 and the glasses were not even very big. Also we got charged $2.00 for a small side of sauce for our fries. Other than that everything was great and we will be back.
I discovered LBW last summer at Corn & Apple and fell in love at first bite. I seriously have a love affair with these wings....and I usually hate wings. The batter is not too thick or greasy and it comes out nice and crispy. The wings themselves were moist and juicy. As others have stated the sauce is squirted on top....but I like that about them. Since the wings aren't tossed, they don't get soggy. We had the From the Byou wings. It featured a creamy chipotle sauce which was a bit spicy and a touch of sweet with smokiness. I would seriously dip anything in sight in that sauce ....if they sold it, I would buy bottles.
Little Bones Wingery has LARGE flavour!. As my name says, I love anything spicy, and in my search for a hotter more flavourful and insane wing, I happened to come across Little Bones whilst visiting the Transcona Hi-Neighbour Street Festival on Regent. I liked their funky truck design, so I thought, all right let's see if they have some hot wings worthy of the Chili Lunatic. I looked over their nicely layed out menu. I asked the lady if the "Spicy Hot Spicy" were the hottest wings they had, which is what I thought, but she said that their "Near Death Experience" wings were the hottest, and with a name like that I was happy, she said are you sure you want those? Your one of those guys, the other guy in the truck said, they told me people ordered these and could never finish an order. Well I ordered them, and contrary to what some snobs on this site say, they were ready in 11 or so minutes, so I opened the box, and WOW, you could feel the heat comin out of them, and very pungent flavour. Well I tried one, and Wham! the heat and intensity of the wings were like a Freight Train hitting a Pontiac Firefly, I was impressed, he must of either used the Bhut Jolokia or Trinidad Moruga Scorpion pepper in them, cause I haven't tried anything as hot before or since. Well I went back to the truck and showed them that I finished the whole box, even the toppings, and they were in awe, the owner was sitting on the curb and was shocked that I finished the whole thing. Great job Little Bones Wingery, and I should find you before fall is out. Keep up the good work.
The mexi wings were incredible.
WOW!. Wow! Such amazing wings. I had the honey dill sauce. The breading was not to heavy or greasy and actually did an excellent job holding onto the sauce. A "single" order is seven pieces of meat. For a side I had the fries and those too well nicely done, not too greasy and were freshly made. I cannot wait to come back for more.
Good Wings--Poor Flavor Choice. I was so excited to see LBW at the ManyFest this past weekend as I love chicken wings and think it's awesome they offer so many varieties. Their menu is the type that you'll stare at it for about 10 minutes before deciding what you should order. They have your normal wing flavors as well as elevated ones such as alfredo, nacho, and poutine. I decided to try their nightly special called "Dark Garlic". I was told it would be a bit vinegary, but that is fine by me. The wings themselves were delicious. Lightly breaded, hot, and juicy--they tasted great. What didn't taste good was the flavor I chose. The Dark Garlic seemed to consist of a drizzle of balsamic vinegar with some powder sprinkled on top. In the spots that contained the balsamic, it was all I could taste. The other half of the time I felt like I was eating plain unflavored wings. I was very disappointed that I could not taste the garlic at all. My bf and I also shared the fried pickles which were delicious with ranch dip. The pickles here are in long strips which I prefer over sliced ones. I would definitely try this truck again but would steer clear of the "Dark Garlic" aka Balsamic flavor.
Great Wings. Had to give a try. I love chicken wings. I tried to hottest wings they have, I'd have to say they were the spiciest wings I had in a long time in the Peg. Don Cherrys years ago were a close second now. My lips were on fire and my eyes were leaking faster then my nose awesome wings....
What a great idea!. I went today to try this out due to an article on Facebook. Upon arriving and looking at the menu I was disappointed to see that the wings are breaded as breaded wings usually come soggy and greasy. Well not these! I swear if you ordered them without sauce you could eat them with white gloves on. So crispy and nicely cooked....
I got a full (double?) order for $11 (taxes in) and it was too much for me. I had half spicy hot and half Frank's thick which were both hot enough to turn my brushcut into a dripping heat exchanger! I recommend getting only half with hot sauce and half with one of the other, milder sauces. I would have enjoyed the texture more then. Also, the owner seems like a real peach.
This street eatery is a sure winner.
I love LBW, I highly recommend it!! You have to follow them on twitter so you know where they're parked. Nice people, and the wings are perfect! Crispy outside but soft & flavorful meat! Be sure to try their checkered fries, I haven't tried their other sides yet (fried pickles or mushrooms). There's tons of choices for wing flavours (both classic & new), I wanna try them all! A great addition to Winnipeg's new wave of food trucks!
Was just driving by.and thought id try. Great service, good price, 25 flavours super nice guy. Overall pretty damn good! Nice and crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside. Good job.
I had heard about this new truck via Twitter and have been looking forward to trying it out ever since. Yesterday was my chance, and let me say right off that they didn’t disappoint...
Wings are some of the best I've had. They are all top quality and large pieces! Super filling. Usually I eat 2-3 dozen at other wings places, could only eat 1.5 dozen here due to the size. The breading is great and crispy. Cajun can use extra Cajun seasoning. The taco wasn't that good, least favorite of the bunch, it was just a soggy mess. Honey garlic, Bayou, Korean, and mustard were great.
Great little gem of a restaurant.
Street parking was easy to find on a Saturday night in early March.
The restaurant is located in the basement and has just a few tables.
Staff is super friendly and helpful.
There is a super selection of wings, we haven't had a bad choice yet. I think there is 100 different flavours.
So far our favorites are the pesto and the nacho.
The restaurant was a bit on the cooler side tonight I was glad I had a more than just a tshirt.
The drinks are in cans.
The food was prepared and brought out quickly. I would recommend ordering ahead on holidays or special nights like Grey Cup or New Years Eve.
It doesn't hurt to look at the menu ahead of time with that many flavours to choose from.
The wings are large and have a lot of meat on them.
They pack the wings well when we have ordered them for take out.
We will go again.
Chicken wings taste very good and delicious. The flavors are as described in the menu.
My friends and I tried the Death Drop and we thought it would be a typical hot and spicy chicken wings but this is different chicken wings than ever. I would say this is the hottest and spiciest food that I ever tasted!
Try also the Mistress chicken wings, it is also delicious and tasty. Every guy would understand why it is called "Mistress" when you see what it looks like. 😄
Hopefully the restaurant space is bigger. Good thing we went there earlier to get a table for 9.
What a great time! Wings are large. The server kindly recommend a smaller portion than we were initially going to order for our party of three. It was generous and we had leftovers. A great variety of flavours and styles.
Go enjoy this good thing!
Amazing food, amazing people. Even during a glob pandemic with rising prices the manager still donated something to our wedding social. Whenever I want wings this is where I order from. No other comparison. Best wings in the heart of Canada.
Really delicious. Very unique. Hands down best wings in town. Very expensive, and more than a couple times they run out of the things I like to order. But 5 stars all the way for taste and quality.
