Great experience!! The food was sooo tasty and the server threw in a free piece of pie because it was our first time. Sides and fries and drinks were perfect. We stayed until close without realizing it and she was so sweet until the end and didn’t force us out at all.

Wonderful experience! Christine made our night and was super awesome to my little one. 10/10 would recommend and will go back, as they have gluten free options for everything! Yay.

Salisbury House has a long history in Winnipeg, and this is evident from the moment you step indoors. Entrees are inexpensive and the menu is diverse (although essentially monocultural). Seniors' options are available at reduced prices. The food we had was Very Good. Each entree was an excellent recipe and was prepared with care. Table service was prompt and friendly. Ample parking made the visit trouble-free.

As we looked for breakfast places to try in the city, we heard about Salisbury House on the radio and wanted to try it out. First off we were in a corner both and could easily see the caulking and weather stripping coming off the windows. It was very cold, the couple beside us mentioned they were there and asked to get moved it was so cold. My wife ordered the pancakes and the one side was borderline burnt whereas you needed to give it a bit of extra work to cut them. I could taste the burnt as well, which is too bad as the part that wasn't overcooked tasted good. I had the skillet and even though i love skillets. I did not love this one, eggs seemed rubbery and the sausages were just very very bland. This place has made our "not ever again" places to eat. Sorry, although the waitress was very friendly and we did tip her.

Was there and ordered fries and gravy and an ice tea. Over 110$ for a handfull of fries that were older than dirt and gravy that was old as well and tasted like they threw in a whole box of pepper. Lousy service and lousy food.

Loved the service, got seated and served right away. Food was great aswell, but table was alittle dirty and coffee was alittle to watery. But otherwise, great experience here!

Husband was craving a Salisbury Steak. Thought this for sure could get a great one here. Nope. They thought he was nuts asking for one! The soup n'sandwich was ok.

I usually love going here and have never had any problems until today! Food was cold and the poutine was also cold the cheese curds were not melted? Other people came in after us and had their food before we did! Asked for more decaf and another waitress had dumped it so needed to wait for another pot to brew! Our waitress was interested in talking with 2 men instead of waiting on people!

The food and service was great and the decor was very nice. The kitchen made a small mistake in preparing the order, but the situation was corrected immediately without hesitation or question. With that kind of service, there is no question that we will go back again.

First time I've ever been. The food quality was fresh, and delicious, the service and atmosphere we're both welcoming and friendly. Value worthy beyond EVERY OTHER fast food venue in my opinion. I'll definitely be returning. Thanks for your excellent services!!!

How can you charge $45.65 for 3 double cheese nips (no drinks and no fries)?!? That is absolutely ridiculous. Last night we needed to stop for dinner and we hadn't been to Sals in a long time, so we thought we'd grab a nip, needless to say we won't be back. I can't afford that kind of money for burgers.
