We've had nothing but great experiences from Singyun. Best ginger beef in town. Lemon chicken is awesome. And free delivery if it's over $30. Honestly everything we've ordered has been fresh and what we called the best of each dish in the city. This place is definitely a hidden gem.

Ordered for the first time last night , and will be ordering again very soon! Can't believe I didn't find this place sooner. The food is so damn delicious! everything we ordered was perfect. meal was piping hot and delivered so quickly. Would give more stars if I could.

Fantastic.new go-to place. Large portions. Made correctly. And superb service. Honey garlic veal was best ever. Outrageous amount of meat in deluxe mixed vegetable. Kung pow shrimp was right one. Singapore noodle properly cooked could have had slightly more heat. A great experience

Best chinese restaurant in Winnipeg. Everything's so good, tasty, and good portion. They even have freebies that not every other restaurant offer. I loved their honey garlic chicken. Fried rice was epic. Definitely will order again.

Food is 5 stars, it's the delivery limitations that makes the restaurant less desirable. They would have much more customers if they were willing to deliver outside of the neighborhood.

Worst Chinese food I have ever tried in my LIFE! Tasteless food! Tofu on the menu was stated as fried but was not even fried - was soft and raw tofu!! Poor service - no one even bothered us asking how was the food! We literally left everything as it is. Better go to China Garden or some other place. At least the food will be worth the money and have good taste. Very dissatisfied and won’t ever recommend!!

We ordered about 15 dishes for a birthday/Grey Cup party and was pleasantly surprised. The order was ready when they said it would be. and the food was REALLY good. Salt and pepper chicken and breaded veal were standouts but, everything was great. If your downtown or St. B give it a try.

I came here with two friends from ON, when I discovered that our usual place was closed for vacation. I googled Chinese Restaurants in St Boniface, and Singyun came up, with the best reviews, and relatively close to home. We ordered 3 Egg Rolls, Ginger Beef, Honey Lemon Chicken, Veggie Chow Mein and White Rice. The server was friendly, the food came out quickly, and almost all at the same time (which I appreciate). The food was delicious, and the portions were very generous. The restaurant is clean and comfortable. We were able to sit for quite a while and enjoy our visit, and didn't feel rushed. It wasn't too busy in the dining room, but I'm sure they do a steady take out business. This may be our new go-to when my friends come back to Winnipeg.

We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of food that was served to us. The portions were large and the taste was perfect. We had the Deluxe Fried Rice, Chicken in Black Bean Sauce and garlic, and Singapore noodles. we will defiantly be returning to this restaurant, as I am already thinking of what I will try there next.

Best thing we ordered was the Honey Garlic Veal, which was tender with the welcome but unexpected addition of five spice. Deluxe Shanghai Noodles were mildly spiced, lots of shrimp but not much of anything else - a few shards of veggies and possibly traces of beef and/or pork that were barely detectable. Beef with pea pods was nice and tender and mushrooms and pea pods were fresh. I agree with other reviewers that each item was not over salted, which was much appreciated.

I find myself going down Provencher Boulevard, both on foot and on bus, quite frequently. One restaurant that has often caught my eye is Singyun Chinese restaurant. Two things about it really catch the eye. The first is the exterior of the building which is a bright, lemon yellow, with signage that looks like it has seen much better days. The second is they advertise a lunch buffet, which for the longest time was $8.99 including a canned drink, but by the time I got around to trying it was $9.75.

This unpretentious family restaurant on Provencher Blvd offers good food in simple, clean surroundings. We had Kung Pao chicken, and curry shrimp from the spicy portion of the menu with Shanghai noodles, all of which were most enjoyable. It deserves better than 3.2.

Just received our order. OMG!! Sooo good!! I am currently in the food service industry and have been for over a decade so I like to think I can appreciate good quality and fair prices. We ordered the deluxe Singapore noodles, curry shrimp and Cantonese chow me in. My husband whom often finds chinese food too salty said everything was perfectly seasoned, the shrimps were very plump n cooked perfectly and you could accually taste the different flavors in each dish, unlike some resturants in the city. Food was soo good I actually had to call the resturant and let them know that they did a fab job !! Hands down 6/ 5 lol

Extensive menu, reasonable prices, decent portion sizes, and very tasty! I placed an order for takeout and it was ready quite quickly. Piping hot and nicely packed in a paper bag, as well as a plastic one, so it didn't leak anywhere. I'd order from here again.

My boyfriend and I usually try out different Chinese restaurants. I was browsing through show and save book and stumbled upon this coupon buy two entrees get third free. We were near the area so decided to check it out. We compare price to food portion to food quality. :) After we had our first couple bites...we almost melted in our seats because of how good their Chinese food was!! I requested only a little bit of msg. Also they only served soft noodle chow mein and I had asked if they can turn the soft noodle to crispy which they had no problem doing!!! SOOO GOOD! Most dishes are under 10 dollars and their portions are bigger than most Chinese restaurants. Will definitely be going there again!! And again! Lastly.. The ambience is okay. Nice and clean. Typical small friendly Chinese restaurant. Too bad they close early. (10pm) I'm sure once more and more people find out about this hidden gem they can extend their hours. :)

Thought we would try a new place. Wife saw them on the way home. And man I am glad she did. The best I have have had in the city so far! Everything was piping hot. Meats we're tender. And everything was very tasty! And as a bonus, they still have pork filled wontons!! When I got home we realized they forgot to put in one of the dishes. I called and they were very sorry and delivered the dish within 10-15 minutes. Things happen and they were very good at rectifying the mistake. Can't wait to order from here again!

We went for the buffer. The cost was $8.85 ($10 after tax) and included your drink (coffee, pop). The food was tasty enough and there was a reasonable selection. The consome soup was bland. Like most of these buffets, it's heavy on the salt but for the price for AYCE, I'm not complaining. The service was extremely friendly, fast and courteous. I will definitely be back when craving some chinese food.

Menu has a lot of the standards you'd expect of a Canadian Chinese restaurant. Everything I ordered was solid. The ginger beef was the best I've had in a long time - very tender beef in a nice sauce, not deep-fried and dry. Honey lemon chicken had a nice thin crispy coating, with a sweet sauce on the side. Shanghai noodles were very tasty - with a tiny bit of a kick. Overall, I enjoyed everything that I ordered, and while nothing was particularly adventurous, it was all quite good. Definitely will be ordering again.

Loved it. Im the type that tends to stick with restaurants I have found that I like. I always order from the same places but I decided to give this new place a try. I have to say I loved it. The Honey Lemon chicken was so good. Im really picky about Hot and Sour Soup but I have to say theirs was great. I also tried the Ginger Beef which I would gladly order again. Prices were good and portions were huge. For the $40 we spent we could have easily fed 4-5 people. I guess it depends on which dishes you order but all of ours were really big. I should mention that we had take out so I'm not sure of the sizes of the dishes when you are eating in. I'll definitely be back
