My sister and I were there for lunch for the first time today. I had won a Schwarma platter for two. We each had the mixed platter. Soo good! I highly recommend this place! We will be back!

I ordered the chicken platter. The plate was an appetizing display of shawarma chicken on a bed of rice, with sides of hummus, Caesar salad, and garnishes. Each item was wonderfully flavourful on its own, while also complimenting everything else on the plate!!
The service was warm, friendly, and welcoming.
Oh, and my husband had a lemon-mint juice — also FANTASTIC!! I have never before had a juice that tasted so fresh and flavourful!!
This is a place I look forward to coming back to!! I have found a new comfort food!!!

RamallahCafe we went for dinner to Ramallah Café on the Café side for the first time. It was fantastic! Middle Eastern food. We were a group of 4 people who ordered four different dishes. We shared a bit. Everything was very good! I got the lamb plate. The lamb was so tender and spiced perfectly - not too strong and finished sweet. It was on a bed of rice with other sides including a savoury sauces and a nice salad. Everything was Soooo flavourful. I also tried a lemon, mint juice. Wow! It was a tart (but not too tart) fresh lemonade with ground mint leaves suspended it, for 99 cents you can add honey. I did. It was a nice touch. I would totally recommend this place for those looking for something different. The prices are good too for a full plate. Won’t be the last time there. Next time the chicken shawarma!
Ramallah Cafe is the place to go!!! Staff were friendly, the food was outstanding, huge portion and fairly priced. Arabic music, sheesha lounge, and open late. One of the best places to go in Winnipeg, will definitely go again���
A total hole in a wall with excellent food. Prices are very reasonable. I will go back to try the rest of the menu. So far, their falafel is the best I've ever had. Staff are very friendly and attentive.

It was more like a brunch for four, there was so much food!
It was incredible! My wife has lived in Saudi Arabia and visited Israel and she said this food was as good or better. I have never been to the Middle East but I thought every bite was so tasty. Labneh, goat cheese, falafel with sesame seeds, olives and pickles, pita bread, feta, olive oil, tomatoes etc. All washed down with hot black tea flavoured with mint.
We will be back!!!!

We have had their shawarma platter and tonight their roasted chicken with garlic sauce and hummus. Absolutely amazing!!!! Even my picky eater kiddies devoured it!! Love this place!!
The food and the atmosphere of the restaurant reminds me of a very nostalgic past when I was back in Saudi. The customer service is excellent! Definitely would recommend everyone.

For my first visit I wished I didn't have my kids with me to enjoy the food and the shisha room. The visit was so quick because of my kids but the food was amazing. I will return again but without my kids to enjoy myself. I only wished the parking was better. Fantastic service, great food and excellent quality too. Shukran awy gedan.

The food was great at Ramallah and service is ok. The platters are big with large portions. I prefer the lamb over the other meats. Love the garlic sauce. I’ve ordered a few times off Skip but they forgot the garlic sauce so be sure to check you have yours!
One side is a hookah area which was weird to me. I’m not into that .. nonetheless the food served on the other side was by far the best middle eastern I’ve tried. So good and big portion of the platters. Good for two people!
We ordered the beef shawarma and kofta plates. They were delicious. Best hummus I’ve ever eaten, so smooth and creamy. Also has the labneh and it was also very good. We will definitely eat from here again.
Probably the best middle eastern food I've had in Canada. We went for lunch and the place was really busy but the wait was not long at all and service was great. Wonderful place!
I was delighted to experience the unexpected pleasure of my chicken shawarma wrap coming not with standard pita bread, but saj bread instead! Saj is almost magical - so thin it’s translucent, yet chewy and slightly crisp at the same time. Despite its delicateness, it’s strong enough to easily contain the moist, well seasoned chicken, sauce and homemade pickles.
Also had a “starter” of baba ganoush, smoky, with fresh diced tomato, herbs and olive oil. It was a touch too bitter to me - always a risk with eggplant, but it came with saj too, so we ate plenty.
Paired this with a lemon and mint juice, refreshing, but could have been just a touch sweeter.
What an amazing experience. First time there but it will not be my last. “Best shawarma in town” - I see that phrase a lot but it applies here, a nice big piled up plate, velvety hummus, nice and garlicky. Flavourful chicken on delicious rice. Falafel is also to die for. Staff attentive, very friendly and eager to please. A solid 5 stars.

just had a meal from skip the dishes, so delicious. best middle eastern food i have had in a while. i had the schwarma platter and hummus. highly recommended!
Ordered Deli. via Skip : was fast, affordable and very satisfying, with the falafel some of the best we've ever had. Shawarma was tasty though a bit heavy on the sweet garlic sauce. Nice touches to the baba ganoush, garnishes etc, and plenty of pita along with it. Fries were crispy and pleasing, not exceptional (hey-they're fries). Lamb donair was 'middle of the road'- good, not great. Anyway, would order again in a heartbeat.

The food is to die for I want some right now, going back to try more items from the menu. I would highly recommend this place.
Saj falafel:
Easy to eat format in a super fresh, soft, somewhat chewy saj bread.
Subtle vegetably/ herby falafel balls, tahini sauce, pickled turnips (homemade?), cooked green pepper strips, lettuce and tomato with a not quite sriracha but almost sauce on the side.
The saj was so good I didn’t think the sauce on the side was even necessary and certainly not in such large amounts but being a bit of a junkie for heat I used it anyways.
$9 all in.
About my falafel ratings: I’d rather not rate the falafels at all but rather try to give my overall feelings about them and if they sound good then go out and get them. If not don’t.

The rating on here is bullshit. The staff are friendly, the presentation of the food is amazing and it's lick off your bowl delicious. If you're reading this..... GO!
The shawarma is the BEST in Winnipeg! So many good sides, great service and great prices as well. I would highly recommend. Very relaxing atmosphere as well.
I've travelled through the Middle East several times, and am a huge falafel fan. They had some of the best falafel I've ever had. Great service, awesome ambience. Definitely going back again.

I went with my friends there because we had enough from the current shawarma places in town and OMG how did I not go to this place before! They have hands down the best chicken shawarma in town!
My husband and I came to Ramallah recently for supper and we both really enjoyed it. I had the falafel saj and he had the chicken shawarma saj. Both were very tasty. The guys running it also seemed friendly. There is also a small hookah lounge which we are interested in checking out. We'll definitely be back.
This is the best shawarma in town! I've tried different ones before but their chicken, and beef shawarma win. I went back many times, already! Tried their Turkish and Arabic coffee, real coffee! Had some of their sweets, too, perfect balance of sweetness. People are very friendly and welcoming, and service is quick and efficient. Go! Worth trying!
I had lunch here a few weeks ago, and the shawarma was the best I've ever had. Everything was very fresh and flavourful, and the owner was very friendly. Will definitely be back many times!
I tried the beef shawarma the other day. It was so amazing. I don't know what they marinate the meat in, but it is a flavor I have never had before. This is definitely a hidden gem. The guy at the front was really kind. I had their peanut butter cocktail with my sandwich. It really filled me up. They also have shisha, and a big assortment of different middle eastern coffees and teas. I will be back to try those.

Nice place for middle-eastern food. I loved their platters. At a reasonable price, platters were full of tests. With a glass of smoothie that makes your appetite complete. Though the seating area is not the largest, a clean environment and traditional arrangement will make your time enjoyable. I recommend this place.
I got a their flyer in the mail and I had to try this place after reading reviews. I got the 4 platter deal (a great deal) which they let you mix and match. I got the kabobs and Donaires and both were delicious! Just burst of flavour in every bite. I can't wait to go back.
The most amazing middle Eastern food I tried in Winnipeg! The owner/ worker who served us was amazing and friendly. The food was very good , fresh and flavorful . A must try.

The tables were dirty and we had to ask the guy to get them cleaned so waited a short while for it to happen.

Used to come here for the fries only, but I tried their chicken shawarma (wrap and platter versions) and I was blown away. Even if you’re not hungry, eating here will make you hungry, and then full lol. Excited to try other dishes at this restaurant

Ordered the Beef Kebab with rice. It was tasty, flavourful and the quantity was quite a lot. However, they could keep the price a little more reasonable for this item.
