So hungry almost forgot to take photos haha. Fantastic place!!! Great service, great food, and great coffee. My first visit and I will definitely be back. The cinnamon buns and homemade bread looked amazing! Will have to try the bakery next time too. HIGHly recommend this place.

Was an amazing experience. Staff was very kind and tended to us with above and beyond service. On top of that their inclusive management had a wonderful young woman volunteering that was splendid. I don’t leave reviews ever but had to for this place, I’d recommend it to anyone.

Blue Collar all day breakfast-as pictured-under $6. Wow! The rest of the menu looked good too. Great house coffee (additional $) Good service - Greeted, seated and served quickly Friendly staff Clean and tidy with local student artwork on the walls For the price-range and excellent service - it can’t be beat.

Took 25 minutes to get our menu and first drink, only one server on a Saturday, out of kielbasa, ordered at 11:32 didn’t receive our food until 11:57, extremely unorganized. Was hoping for a better experience based on the reviews. But sadly i don’t see myself coming back here again.

This place is a gem. Excellent breakfast for reasonable prices, friendly and attentive staff and clean restaurant. 100% will return and have already told my friends about it 3 hours later!

TLDR: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great food made with quality ingredients, good prices, in a friendly, clean, cozy environment. Ordered the big breakfast and it was very tasty and arrived promptly. The turkey sausage and the Dill bread were amazing and above and beyond your standard Smitty's/Sal's type quality. Staff were friendly and attentive, and the restaurant was cozy and welcoming. I'll definitely be making this my new regular breakfast spot. The prices were very good for the quality.

Had a veggie breakfast wrap and coffee. Good coffee!!! Was nice to have an adoption with more veg in it. It was good. Shredded potatoes are seasoned well. I thought they looked too light when I was served but found a fair bit of crispness to them which was evenly distributed.

Food is good and affordable, and of course they are local! Owners are so nice! I believe they also own a car dealership, but they come out and chat with the customers as so simple, down-to-earth people! It’s so homey here, and it’s a hidden gem in Transcona!

Great food specially their breakfast and clean quaint place. A hidden gem at the heart of Transcona Biz. Fast friendly service. Parking can be a challenge.

This place is fantastic. Blue Collar Special - eggs, bacon, HOMEMADE cubed potatoes, HOMEMADE toast, great coffee... why would you go anywhere else... cheap too!

This is a hidden treasure of Transcona and more people should know about it.
The breakfast is second to none and the service is incredible. It has become my family's go-to place for weekend breakfast.

The portions are generous and all of the bread and baking is made fresh in-house.
I always get the blue-collar special and it never disappoints.
You can also buy loaves of bread and pre-prepared meals from their freezers if you like.

If you haven't yet been, you need to rectify that immediately. Go now.

Great place in downtown transcona. Had a great filling breakfast with fresh ingredients. You can tell they do their best to impress. I will be back

Wonderful!. It's a long way from downtown Winnipeg - must be Transcona's little secret. I went there for lunch today for the first time - the food was hot, fresh, and delicious. Try the southwestern vegetarian chili - amazing!

Super cute cafe in downtown transcona. Breakfast came out in under 5 minutes and was cooked properly! Coffee is organic and fair trade and not too weak like most restaurants. They have a rack of 50% off day-old baking... Were sold out of $1 potato dill bread so I'm sure that's delicious as well! We'll be back to try lunch in the near future- it's fantastic to have a quality restaurant 5 minutes from home.

Dinner with friends. 4 of us gathered for a meal and a catch up.. the food was very good and we were not rushed out. the server came often to ensure we had coffee etc. but always with a smile and even made teasing remarks..we've been 3 times and will definitely return

Delicious food, friendly atmosphere. It is a lovely place to eat. There is lots of natural light and the food was delicious. It was the kind of place that I felt I could have ordered anything off the menu and it would have been good so it was very hard to make up my mind! The servers were very genuine and all seemed eager to please. I was there with my two month old son and felt very welcome in the restaurant. I am looking forward to going back again!

Real chicken, crispy bacon, fresh produce, and a nice amount of mayo made for a good sando.
Food Musings
My husband’s family once resided in Transcona and every time we drove to his families’ home, he would observe and remark about all the changes along Regent Ave. Now that the family has dispersed all over Canada and the US, we rarely make the trek. Somehow though, “Downtown” Transcona has retained its small town charm. Right in the centre of it all is L’Arche Tova , a special café that will captivate you. Upon arrival, a number of servers came over in turn, to ensure that we had whatever we needed. We were introduced to one “assistant” in particular. He is a participant in L’Arche’s alternate Day Program and his smile and enthusiasm was contagious. He is one of the reasons that the café exists. You may be familiar with the incredible work of L’Arche Winnipeg . Their mission is “to create homes with people who have an intellectual disability”. My lunch date (J2′s Mom) had visited the café before and could attest to the quality of the Double Decker sandwich, and the “made on prem
