I came here on my way to Calgary, AB from Pickering, ON.
As I was visiting Manitoba as well as Winnipeg for the very first time, I decided to do a quick search and filter out some options based on the reviews, ratings and other factors.
I was in for a pleasant surprise as the reviews were true. The butter chicken was succulent and the curry was creamy with a tasty buttery feel.
The location was convenient but the patio is a total no-no as I felt I would have been eating half of the dust in the road.
For any passerby, I definitely would recommend. The service was awesome as well.

AH-MAZING!
I've been wanting to try this place and ordering online was easy and fast. Loved the 12 samosa special and gave some to others who are surely hooked now too. (I could drink that sauce!) The samosas were packed with filling. The vegetarian curry lunch was all SO tasty - I couldn't pick a favorite. The naan - fresh and perfect, even after my 35 minute ride home. Can't wait to try this place again.

My husband and I have tried most of the Indian restaurants in the city. Though we have only been there once, we were impressed by the quality of the food. The servings were generous. The prices were good. Naan was excellent. The samosa platter was different but we fell in love. I highly recommend checking this place out. We will be back!

It was my wife’s birthday and we ordered first time from @Cilantro’s Restaurant fried rice, chilli paneer and paneer tikka. It’s the best fried rice, chilli paneer, and paneer tikka I have eaten in last two year in Winnipeg. Anurag is an amazing host thank you so much for the dessert. You made our day.

The food arrived quickly and was delicious.
The portions were generous and the bill was surprisingly low. Tipped just more than I usually would because everything was so excellent it surprised me they don't charge more.
Definitely one of the best Indian restaurants in the city.

I ordered paneer fried rice and chicken Manchurian . That’s best ever and good in presentation and delicious in taste. Fried rice is my favourite of this restaurant . I recommend you should have tried it.

Yumm 😋 I would say best Indian food in Winnipeg. Never complaint for food. Chef himself so polite. Taste is like you are eating while sitting in India. Each item is so delicious, we were just keep ordering. Finally got a place to eat the best.

Decided to give this place a try. I had no clue it was east Indian but we were so pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious! Had the samosa platter, Naan stuffed with cheese, korma and a lamb dish the name I can not recall. Definitley recommend it.

Ordered from skip the dishes on a whim, what pleasantly surprised. The lamb dish was unreal, spices were on point. Butter chicken was fantastic. Cheese stuffed naan was also great.

Our first experience with Cilantro's was through Skip the Dishes. We ordered the Butter Chicken, the Navrattam Korma and one of the white fish dishes (can't remember the name) plus the stuffed Naan bread. Flavors - amazing! You could see the spices in the sauces and the taste was even better than our usual favorite place. The stuffed Naan - delicious but overpriced at $4.99 for 2 pieces. My biggest problem and why I only gave it 2 stars? Portion Size. The Butter Chicken and the fish dish only had 6 tiny pieces of meat (no bigger than my thumb) in the containers and the rest was sauce. 90% sauce and 10% meat/fish. at $13.99 and $14.99 for these two dishes. Not acceptable in my books. That is why we received 1 large and 1 small container of rice (included) - to sop up the sauce! So disappointed. Not sure if the portions are bigger if you eat in, but I was quite cheesed off (and sadly did not phone in last night to complain in person).. The Navrattam Korma was fantastic and the portion size here was not skimped on. The flavors were great but not sure if I will come back (even though we live 5 minutes away). It would take a lot of convincing for me to return.

First time here today. Great food, generous portions (especially considering the extremely reasonable pricing), friendly service, and a speedy wait time! I had the chicken platter and i got a few forkfuls of my dining companion's cilantro's chicken, both were delicious. Highly recommend.

We love this place!! We have eaten here twice for dinner and once for breakfast. The food has always been fantastic and had a lot of flavour. The staff are also very friendly. We will be back, that's for sure!

Great renovation to the previous White Rock Cafe. Same location but new flair to the menu. Breakfast is your traditional breakfast fare but with the addition of baked beans on the side with a great spice blend.
Dinner is a an Indian menu which I look forward to sampling. If it's anywhere near as good as breakfast I am looking forward to it.

Went for lunch and had the butter chicken. It was delicious and the naan bread was soo good. Prices were good and server was very friendly. I will definitely go back soon.

A very good option for east Indian food. Paneer butter masala was a bit sweet. Dal Tadka was good. Masala Onion rings and Dahi puri were good. Do try onion stuffed naan.

Honestly, the best Indian food in Winnipeg. But it's not just an indian restaurant, at lunch time you can get a fantastic burger, or a Samosa Sandwich, or a club sandwich. The breakfast if amazing and priced excellent. So breakfast and Lunch is more than just Indian food, but with a twist. At supper it's pretty much all Indian Food. The prices are better than most places and the Food is better than like the Clay Oven or anthing.

Not sure if these guys are going to make it. Service is awkward and slow. We only had ceasar salad but it was on the small side for the price and nothing great as far as taste goes. Nothing special about the décor atmosphere and kinda unappealing. I think I prefer McDonalds over this place.

First time here after hearing many great reviews. I had the butter chicken with garlic naan. The butter chicken was a little on the sweet side but seriously really tasty. And OMG that naan is heavenly! I can’t wait to come back and try other dishes.

Yummy, high quality food. Korma had a nice mix of veggies and beans in a rich thick sauce, butter chicken was a little on the sweet side, but otherwise nicely seasoned and tender. Nan bread was fresh and chewy. The meal for two was a great deal, came with samosas, rice, nan, drinks, two entrees and a little desert - enough for our family of three plus leftovers!

I like this place a lot! Smaller seating area with not a lot of ventilation the day we went but everything tasted great and great service. I like for the price of your meat dish it comes with rice, so it’s easy to order. We had garlic naan and butter chicken and their cilantros curry. All were great taste and portion and the spice rating was good. We even had leftovers. I would definitely eat here again.

First of all this is a small restaurant with a nice seating <br/>Service was very slow<br/>One of the plates which the server came up with was dirty & we had to ask to get it replaced with a neat one. Food was good but not that special !! Aloo Tikki was delicious.Butter chicken was Good!<br/>No recognition of open table booking from the restaurant!!<br/>Perhaps they don’t want to get charged for their covers! Good parking at the back of the restaurant.

We have not sat down here but have ordered a good dozen times now via skip the dishes. The food is always so fantastic that this has become one of our main staples with skip. We have started trying one new dish every time we order and have not been disappointed. They also make an excellent mango lasse :)

Butter chicken is AMAZING! My partner ordered the samosa sandwich and he loved it! Highly recommend this place! It's super tasty and not too pricey.

Very tasty! We were excited to see Indian food in the neighbourhood so we ordered some for lunch from Skip The Dishes. While the delivery portion sizes may have been a little on the small side, the food was VERY delicious! I'm not a bread fan and normally skip it but the naan was the best I've ever had. Feathery, light, buttery, just delicious. Looking forward to trying a few more dishes but will likely dine-in to see the difference.

I LOVE the food here and have been about 6 times in the last 4 months. The first time I came for lunch and returned for dinner the next night - that's how much I enjoyed it! The butter chicken and naan bread is to die for. Spice at about 5 is just right. I've also had a fish dish which is excellent. Whether dining in or take out, the quality has been very consistent. Great to have a restaurant like this in the North K area, off the Henderson main drag with easy parking.
