Got a table for 10 (max COVID table size) right at opening. Food was delicious. Staff were friendly, communicative and attentive. Ambiance was perfect. I appreciated the sound-absorbing panels. And they have games for days - weeks! Will visit there again for sure.

I would've spent my entire day here if I could!The concept of the restaurant is GENIUS,I love the competitive and bonding nature of playing board games and the experience was nothing less than memorable,with more than 1600 games,its impossible not to find something you like.The food was great too,I had a chicken wrap with potato wedges.The Wrap was delicious, it didn't feel dry at all,it was packed, plus it didn't fall out.The potato wedges were a little bland,but the HONEY DILL stole the show and made me forget about the wedges entirely.I had a drink called the Shirley Temple and I couldn't finish it any faster!I would definitely recommend investing!!!

We didn't play much games, as it was a bit overwhelming being our first time and having so much to pick from, so we went with familiar ones from our childhood. Will likely look up the rules of some games before we go next time.
The food was delicious, the service was fantastic, and atmosphere was amazing!

Great overall experience. Chantelle was an impeccable server keeping the service operational. A plentiful selection of board games. I played the Mars colony economy-based board game for the first time with friends and played a live chess game with new people during the second visit. Fun memories and delivered Qg4# (checkmate). I ordered the Board Game Club sandwich that came with the tomato soup. It was delicious. A vibrant and friendly environment with laughter during the Trivia Night events. Great place for families to hang out.

Wow they really have so many games! It was a bit challenging to locate the place inside of another building but I figured it out. The staff are eager to help you find or learn games. The food looked good but I did not order anything. You pay for the time there and are maxed out at 3 hours if it's busy.

Went with my 10 year-old. Small but very good kids' menu, fantastic regular menu, reasonable prices, more kids' games than we'd ever known existed, beautiful space, and incredibly personable and helpful staff. Can't wait to go back.

I love going there for the bi-weekly Mingle Nights as you get to meet new people and try new games. I try to eat before hand as it does get expensive when you are a regular. � I would recommend the salad rolls as they are delicious and also cheaper than anything else on the menu. Also, just a curiosity question : why is the popcorn so expensive? It be nice for mingle nights or special events, popcorn available. � I love coming though and I hope the comments I left counts as productive criticism.

I have always loved playing board games and going out with friends and this place has the best of both world!! Plus they are vegan-friendly! You just need to ask if the food items can be made vegan before ordering but very flexible!

It was an exceptional experience and a great way to interact with friends/family. There were 13 of us and we played a variety of games we had never played before. Everyone laughed. Everyone participated. Nobody used their cell phones (except to take pictures after). The food was incredible! I highly recommend it!

Had an amazing time, all the games and the game advisors were great! What was nice too was being able to reserve online. However the service was brutal. Our waiter seated us. Asked us if we wanted a drink. Brought us them... And then never came back for about an hour and a half to tell us the kitchen was closing. At that time we ordered food which took another 50 minutes to get. Not once were we asked for drinks nor was our water refilled. We even tried multiple times to get peoples attention and nothing. I understand it's a busy night but still... We will be back just because we had such a great time with games and friends, just hoping the service will be a lot better.

Great atmosphere. Only place where it's ok to be loud. � so many games to choose from. Very nice to have "game advisors" who go table to table if you need help. Loved the buffalo pizza. Lots of flavour but not over powering with heat which is easy to do. We also had the across the board charcuterie. Basically there was three kinds of pepperoni which was kind of disappointing. Would have like to see prosciutto, porchetta or the like. And maybe another dried fruit. But it had some very lovely other items. Had a great time. Will definitely be coming back to try some other games and menu items.

Really have enjoyed both visits. Made reservations both times. The London Fogs are great, my sons love the popcorn and the game varieties are so much fun. It is a great place for groups of 6-8.

There are not a lot of restaurants that I can eat at in the city due to multiple anaphylactic food allergies, but Across The Board is completely peanut free and has allergy protocol set in place. Pretty amazing to have a place I can eat at again.

I've been several times and enjoy the huge selection of games. My friends and I have had great times there. I don't really go there for the food though. I would have made it 5 stars if the snack selection and taste was better. E.g. A bowl of cheddar powder popcorn is $8. Expensive and not very tasty. Overall though, I recommend this place often, and I will keep coming back!

My wife and daughter enjoyed coming here every few months to play games and have lunch; last week however, they tried to use a GroupOn that we purchased that allows entry and lunch for 4 people. Since there were only the two of them, the staff did not allow them to use it. My wife asked to speak to the manager and she was extremely rude to them, treating them like second-class citizens for trying to use a GroupOn. Instead of allowing them to at least use the GroupOn for its face value of $19 which we paid, the staff rudely dismissed them and made them fell like crap. It's a good thing I was not there because I would not take that kind of treatment from anyone. My wife and daughter had to leave after trying to find and paying for 2 hours of parking in the Exchange, which is not easy. Good job treating your loyal customers like this, we will never be back again!
