Went with my 10 year-old. Small but very good kids' menu, fantastic regular menu, reasonable prices, more kids' games than we'd ever known existed, beautiful space, and incredibly personable and helpful staff. Can't wait to go back.
I have always loved playing board games and going out with friends and this place has the best of both world!! Plus they are vegan-friendly! You just need to ask if the food items can be made vegan before ordering but very flexible!

It was an exceptional experience and a great way to interact with friends/family. There were 13 of us and we played a variety of games we had never played before. Everyone laughed. Everyone participated. Nobody used their cell phones (except to take pictures after). The food was incredible! I highly recommend it!
There are not a lot of restaurants that I can eat at in the city due to multiple anaphylactic food allergies, but Across The Board is completely peanut free and has allergy protocol set in place. Pretty amazing to have a place I can eat at again.
Great place to sit back , relax and play games with your friends . The atmosphere is amazing and the staff are fantastic .
We went with 4 adults and 4 kids, and had a blast! What a great way to try out a bunch of games -- bonus that the staff are so wonderful and sit down with you to show you how to play. Can't wait to go back!
Visiting from Vancouver. Across the Board is the BEST board game cafe/pub we've been to... in any province... hands down. Lots of amazing games and the bruschetta is fantastic!!!

Amazing experience. Walked in with no expectations. Brought kids and we all loved it. The game master Michael made it great and knew we didn’t know any games. The Oreo milkshake was a hit with the kids. I like their menu. Great vibe and design.
Got a table for 10 (max COVID table size) right at opening. Food was delicious. Staff were friendly, communicative and attentive. Ambiance was perfect. I appreciated the sound-absorbing panels. And they have games for days - weeks! Will visit there again for sure.
Me and my friends had an AMAZING experience here! Staff was friendly and helpful. We played so many games and had a lot of fun. I’d give the food 4 stars and the experience, ambiance 5 stars.
I would've spent my entire day here if I could! The concept of the restaurant is GENIUS,I love the competitive and bonding nature of playing board games and the experience was nothing less than memorable, with more than 1600 games, its impossible not to find something you like. The food was great too,I had a chicken wrap with potato wedges. The Wrap was delicious, it didn't feel dry at all,it was packed, plus it didn't fall out.The potato wedges were a little bland, but the HONEY DILL stole the show and made me forget about the wedges entirely.I had a drink called the Shirley Temple and I couldn't finish it any faster!I would definitely recommend investing!!!
Also, they have some of the best service I've received in a while, thanks Ryan!
Wife and I went here for a date night, and it was wonderful!
We didn't play much games, as it was a bit overwhelming being our first time and having so much to pick from, so we went with familiar ones from our childhood. Will likely look up the rules of some games before we go next time.
The food was delicious, the service was fantastic, and atmosphere was amazing!
The cafe, the food, the staff and the games; Everything is amazing here. I could be here every weekend. Suggest you to reserve a table as they get really busy on the weekend
Great overall experience. Chantelle was an impeccable server keeping the service operational. A plentiful selection of board games. I played the Mars colony economy-based board game for the first time with friends and played a live chess game with new people during the second visit. Fun memories and delivered Qg4# (checkmate). I ordered the Board Game Club sandwich that came with the tomato soup. It was delicious. A vibrant and friendly environment with laughter during the Trivia Night events. Great place for families to hang out.
Wow they really have so many games! It was a bit challenging to locate the place inside of another building but I figured it out. The staff are eager to help you find or learn games. The food looked good but I did not order anything. You pay for the time there and are maxed out at 3 hours if it's busy.
