My husband had the Bison Burger and I had the chicken BBQ pizza. Very good! We shared an apple cobbler for dessert and it is the best! Yum! Highly recommended!

Check out their music schedule on weekends. We love the jazz with regular Bob Watts from Victoria BC. It is a restaurant and their menu is varied and very good. The deserts are decadent!

My husband and I stopped in after a movie. We had a great little table for two in the window. The service was prompt and friendly. I had the mussels in a Pernod cream sauce. They were delicious with lots of sauce for dipping the bread. My husband had the Margherita pizza. A interesting touch of balsamic drizzle made it extra tasty. We'll definitely go back.

The seafood chowder is a must! A little expensive for a soup but is worth every penny

Best gluten free pizza crust around. Live music mimosas and macarons. What more could you ask for?

We always have wonderful service. As a person living with Celiac disease there are few restaurants I trust with my strict diet. This is one of them- I have never been ill, the staff are attentive and helpful.

De todas as experiências gastronômicas que eu tive em Winnipeg, essa definitivamente foi a melhor. Recomendo a todo mundo. O lugar é bom, o cardápio é bem interessante, o serviço é ótimo e a comida inesquecível.

A cafe in a bookstore, just what an avid reader wants. We had a great experience, our vaccine cards and I’d very checked by a smiling hostess who escorted us inside. The tables were clean and the menu had something for everyone. It was well plated and tasty. Enjoyed my salmon sandwich with fries. The server was friendly, I gave it one star less as they were out of a lot of desserts at lunch time, definitely a disappointment for me. My sister had the apple cobbler, she loved it.she took it warm with ice cream along , was a huge helping , three of us took a few bites each to finish it. We also tried their smoothie , it was well balanced and just the right consistency, served in a nice talk glass. The soup and salad combos are very attractively priced and the helping is pretty decent. The Greek salad was fresh and looked healthy. Would definitely recommend this for those looking for healthy options. Post lunch we ordered Americano too , once again were impressed with the glass used for it . 5 stars for that. Did not take pics of the cafe and display case , left it for our next visit. Would love to see there display case full , I guess with city opening this too shall happen. I’m surely going to come again and try out more salads and desserts .

The restaurant is located inside a book store. There are lots of windows and natural light, and they even have a large tree inside. The staff follow COVID protocol, they clean tables and seats after each customer leaves. The menu has a good variety of food, including soup, salad, burgers, etc. They also serve dinner and breakfast dishes. Food quality is good and prices are reasonable. The location is convenient with lots of parking.

Went for coffee and desserts, and it was great. With a lovely atmosphere from the bookstore behind.

You can browse the bookstore while you wait for a table. Probably the happiest I have ever been when ordering soup and salad. The Ceasar is delicious and the soup of the day was beer and cheddar and it was great.

If you like a good sandwich and soup combo for lunch, give this place a shot. Their selection is somewhat limited, but what they do, they do very well. soups: the West African peanut soup is what most people rave about (for good reason, it is delicious), but don't overlook the french onion soup.. it is superb! Sandwiches: very fresh, very well made - I have never been disappointed. I was particularly impressed by the philly cheese steak. It's a touch smaller compared to most versions which makes it perfect for lunch imho. if you are a fan of "the philly cheese steak" in general - their home-made cheese sauce is something you should experience. I usually order from here when I want a bit of a lighter lunch. They portion well. Bigger isn't always better, and I don't feel logy/weighed down after eating here, more "pleasantly satisfied"

As always, a great place. Went to celebrate my son's birthday, tuesday evening about 6:30. I was very surprised at how busy. Walking needed 20 to 30 minutes wait. By 7:30 it had cleared out though, so it was a real supper cloud Tried the potato and celery soup, which was really nice, good taste and nice texture, I had the little cup, about 6 oz, and would cheerfully had a full bowlful for supper but I was trying the wild mushroom ravioli as a main. That was really good. Nice portion and wonderful flavour. Highly recommended. I include some pictures of the pastry counter, all of it delicious, although a tad calorie rich I'm afraid
