Tried this place for the first time today. I often keep an eye out for local mom and pop shops. Upon entering I was greeted warmly by staff. She had helped me choose my food, and that was very helpful considering its all authentic food. She did not steer me wrong. It was delicious and will be returning again. I also got mild medium and hot sauces and the mild blew me away lol

The best Mexican food this side of Tijuana. The owner was very charming and gave me great advice on how to handle the drive across the country. Definitely worth a 2-day drive to get to this place. Do yourself a favor if you're in Winnipeg and check this place out. Fantastic! And don't forget to add the pan fried mozzarella. It's a must have.

Great authentic style tacos! Order a trio of chorizo and steak tacos and a side of Mexican rice. Tacos were very good and the rice was flavorful. Total was 13.50$, but I ordered the tacos and rice individually instead of getting a combo. Overall really enjoyed it and would definitely return. If you're looking for some Mexican style food beyond the local franchise spots, this is it!

This has been on my to-go places for a while and I finally had a chance to try it. The chorizo taco was delicious (fried cheese is a must) and their sauce delivered on the spice. The chicken one was okay.

Our first time trying this iconic authentic Mexican taco 🌮 restaurant.
As a result of covid it's been a while since we've been to Mexico for a hot vacation and we needed a Mexican cuisine fix in a big way.
We were definitely not disappointed!!!
We had chicken tacos, beef (with fried cheese) tacos, chorizo tacos, a Mexican bowl, Mexican poutine, Pico de gallo and for dessert... churros with the caramel sauce.
We were very pleased with the food; fresh, seasoned to perfection and soooo reminiscent of great tacos of Puerto Vallarta.
The staff is hard working, friendly and got our order perfectly straight.
The restaurant is clean and all covid protocols are followed.
Thank you Sargent Taco for bringing Mexico to us for dinner!!!

Finally got my hungry hands on Sargent Tacoshop and I’m extremely satisfied with the authentic spices, friendly service, variety and value! 3 tacos, refried beans, flavourful rice and a slushy for $10! Can’t wait to try more.

This place I've been wanting to try for awhile as heard really positive feedback. Finally checked it out a few days ago. REALLY GOOD! Super fresh and flavorful. Prices are reasonable and our food was prepared quickly. We tried a couple of different items and my favorite was the chicken quesadillas. I will definitely be going back and supporting this neighborhood gem!<br/>

The best Mexican in town. No question. Try the Lengua (beef tongue) - it is not on the menu - tender and flavorful. Make sure you try the 3 sauces - Jalapeno, Habanero and ????. You can buy to take home too - truly amazing on rice or nachos at home!

Super friendly staff, who genuinely care about serving good authentic food. The tacos exceeded my expectations, and were delicious and flavourful. While the ambience isn’t there, I would still revisit because the prices were super reasonable for their tasty tacos. <br/>

tried this place last night on the recommendation of a pal. The tacos were legit af and delicious, tried like 6 kinds and pigged out. Carlos was super inviting and helpful, and the tacos were fresh, and filling and really unique. Going back today for lunch cuz i can't stop thinking about them! I had the Pastor (with fresh pineapple), chicken mushroom, Beef with fried cheese, huitaloche, and some others they were all so good i can't rave enough. drooling now just thinking about them.
