I believe this nice little restaurant opens at 4:00 PM generally, so if you decide to go, get there very early, or make a reservation, as it gets quite busy around 6PM and is guaranteed to be full after that. For good reason! The food here is very good, and the service is excellent. We were seated right away but were told our table was reserved for 7 PM, which was fine as it was only 4:30. Our waitress (her name is eluding me) got us water and drinks immediately. We started with the homemade Italian sausage, and the cheese bread. The sausage came cut up and in a wonderful marinara sauce and a side of beautifully crisp on the outside and oh so soft on the inside bread. The cheese bread was 8 pieces of the same beautiful bread with house cheeses melted on top, very tasty. For our main meal , we ordered the chicken parmesan with caesar salad, and the lemon chicken with caesar salad. The caesar dressing you could tell was homemade, it was fairly garlicy any and creamy, very good! My girlfriend cut into her chicken parm, and it was slightly pink in one very thick spot, no big deal, it happens, especially on a thick spot like that. We informed the waitress, who apologized profusely, and told us she would fix it right away. The pasta that she had eaten was replaced with a new one free of charge, to give her something to eat while we were waiting for her parm to return. The pasta she said (i didnt have any) was a simple spaghetti with italian marinara, and she said it was amazing. In the meantime, My lemon chicken came with a small side of broccoli, zucchini and other assorted vegetables. They had been cooked in white wine, but perhaps a bit too long as they were very slightly too soggy for my liking, i like crisp veggies. The wine was a nice touch though and the taste was nice. The lemon chicken isnt the same kind of sauce you would get at Paradise Restaurant or Colosseo. Its more of a creamy sauce with much more lemon flavor, so keep that in mind if you decide to order it. I really liked it, but im more accustomed to the other kinds of sauce which have more wine in them. Overall, very good after a few bites and getting used to it. It also came with a mashed potato ball, that has cheese in the centre and is breaded and deep fried. I liked it, but it was lacking flavor inside. My girlfriends parm came back quickly. It was topped with marinara sauce, and melted house cheeses. We noticed the a pice of chicken in the thick spot had been cut out, and replaced like a puzzle piece, in a very discrete manner, it was white! Yay! She took one bit, chewed once, twice... then stopped and stared at me. I know that face, she hated it.... I could see the waitress watching her in anticipation of what she thought. I cringed... then she blurts out "Oh my God... Thats the best chicken parm ive ever had!" BINGO! We have a winner folks, Best chicken parm we've had yet! I'd also like to mention that throughout the entire time we were here, both our water and iced teas never emptied (that's rare, usually one or the other is ignored at restaurants) And several waitresses come around scanning tables. There is also, Who I presume is the manager or owner, a woman that watches over the restaurant like a hawk, and if the waitresses are busy, she will come refill your drinks herself. Excellent, service! When we were done eating, our waitress informed us that she had been instructed to give us free dessert for little oopsey doodle on their part. My girlfriend said no thanks, but I said woah, yeah we will haha. I settled on the death by chocolate, which is 7 layers of chocolate cake, mouse, fudge, and chocolate drizzle. It was the best cake ive ever had, so do yourself a favor and try it! All in all, very impressed, and we WILL be returning!
