Review Santa Lucia Pizza - Winnipeg

Ate here for the first time. Meeting up with a friend in from Nova Scotia and some old high-school friends from back in the day. It was great! The restaurant was warm and inviting with excellent Italian decor. Luke our server was amazing. The food was fresh and big portions too. I had the garlic cheese toast and double pepperoni pizza. Everything was fresh & delicious. All of us left full & happy. Will make sure to visit again very soon!

Pizza was beyond incredible. Service was mediocre. Had to wait for water fill ups for quite a time and also had to wait to order quite a bit. Super sweet server though. 18” is $43-45.

LOVE their pizza! Their gluten free crust is great and they have a keto option as well. The Santa Lucia Special is amazing! Definitely more on the pricey side compared to some but worth it in my opinion. They have a fantastic Greek salad as well, one of my favourites in the city. HIGHly recommend this place, never been disappointed.

The pizza was good, but the toppings were sparse. Basically 1 sliver of meat per slice and same with the veggie. We've ordered from here a few times and the crust, sauce and cheese are so yummy. The toppings are very disappointing for the extremely high price. I definitely recommend this pizza, but hope they can maybe put more than 1 halved mushroom a slice! It tasted like we paid $35 for a cheese pizza. The photo is a 2 topping*

The food is always good. Is always excellent. But the salsa that I received for my nacho order was not fresh salsa like I had had in the summer time at this location which was excellent. So the jarred salsa that I received with my order was a real disappointment. So next time I order nachos I will have to inquire about the status of their salsa... Because they're fresh prepared salsa is excellent. Beyond excellent.... But that is not what I received with my order this time around.

Tasty and quality foods. Food portioning/quantity is more than perfect. Service is also outstanding. Love the time being there even in COVID-19 situation.

Great service, our server tonight was very professional and appears to enjoy his position. Chicken wings were very tasty. Pizza heaped with toppings. Perfect end to our night out!

When I need Italian this is where I go. We wanted to catch the Wpg Blue Bombers and enjoyed our pizza, lasagna and Pasta Alfredo while seeing them win!!! Service was efficient even adding the vaccine checking at the beginning.

The best deal is in the lounge on Tuesday nights when they have a $6.00 two topping pizza. The Greek salad is also very good, and their pizza is the best in Winnipeg. Service is not that great, and the restaurant has terrible acoustics (too loud for a romantic date night), but often the food makes up for it. In the summertime the open air patio upstairs is a huge hit.

We have been ordering from Santa Lucia St Mary’s for over twenty years. The pizza is consistently excellent. When we’ve dined in, we might wait a while when it’s super busy, but hey, it’s not a fast food restaurant. Love the patio and staff has always been awesome.

I have been to the St. Mary's Road location twice recently and it's mixed. The food is excellent especially the fried chicken and the price is good as well. The service in relation to the bar or lounge leaves much to be desired. On both occasions the lounge was filled, no of the waitresses even attempted to approach us on both occasions there, to take and order or anything . Only the bartender who greeted us, got out drink orders and served us, also ordered our food. On the first occassion we had to ask the waitresses to clean a free table, after it was cleaned it was given to another party. We saw another table that needed to be cleared but sat and the same waitress serving the guests there before brought out drinks to a dirty table, and the proceeded to ask it the empty glasses were ours after we asked her not to put our drinks on the table. Everything we needed we had to call the waitress for like getting water, taking our orders and getting the bills, debit machine. The service staff in the lounge need to be retrained, as they only stand around and gossip and only seem to service some patrons. In the dining area the service is excellent. Next time probably skip the lounge and just wait for a table, if we decided to return. The only reason I did not give it a rating of 1 is because the food is excellent and the bartender in the lounge does his job extremely well.

Normally the best pizza in town. For some reason my pizza is so soft and floppy that it falls completely apart. Last time I ordered the manager was at the henderson location and it was perfect pizza. However today it's subpar, soft, soggy, and almost impossible to eat with out a fork and knife. Please go back to your delicious ways Santa.

Well after two visits now to the St.Mary's location I'm not all that impressed. The place and even food look nice and all but not only is it terribly loud from the other people in the main dining area but service has been quite slow. The food took quite a while both times to come out for just two of us eating, the only good part was that the waitress kept bringing pop refills. But each time the food was just "okay". I had pizza the first visit and the special "pizza burger" for Burger Week recently. The burger tasted better out of the two. Not sure if we'll be back, not in a big rush to anyway, they certainly aren't as far as cooking.

My wife and I had a wonderful patio lunch and cool beverages on Saturday. Service was great and so was the food.

We go here at least twice a year and had nothing but great experiences expect this Wednesday . Our sever was doing her best but our drinks were pure water, waited 20 minutes to get a drink in the first place . Starters didn't come until after the meal . Once our meals came two were cold and to top it off we found a long hair on our pizza ! Awfully disgusting . We hope to be back, but after this visit . We will have to see . St Mary's road

Stopped in to the St. Mary’s location yesterday by chance and it was $6.00 for a two topping 9 inch pizza in the lounge. We thought we’d need two pizza’s but only needed one! The toppings were plentiful and the pizza’s delicious. Service was excellent and the beers were cold, can’t ask for a better dinner experience.

Fantastic experience and I will go back. The burger for #LeBurgerWeek was excellent. The patio was fantastic. Next time I will go back for the pizza.

We went here last minute in New Year's Eve and didn't have reservations. They did not have room but the manager seen our kids shivering from being outside watching the fireworks and moved a tables and a few chairs from another table and made us room. Needless to say, we gave a really big tip for them being so accommodating to my large family!

Enjoyed dinner with the family on New Year's eve. Service was very good. Portions are large. Fish and chips,Chicken parma,Italian pizza and Gyro. All are very good. We will definitely return.

We go every month since 2013. Had our wedding ceremony up on the patio and lunch reception in the lounge in June 2016 . We enjoy our meals and service everytime.

Santa Lucia has always been our go to splurge pizza. More than we would normally spend but always worth it. Unfortunately not the case on Sunday. Our pizza was soggy and the toppings were sliding off. The pizza was poorly cut with some pieces as big as 4 pieces. ...and our Greek salad was lazily put together with the tomato simply quartered and the dressing was no closed and leaked all over the bag. Not a great buy at $54 and I ended up having to pick my kids up McDonald's because they wouldn't eat it. Really disappointed. Hoping it's just a one off because Santa Lucia has always been my favorite
