Beautiful chocolates! You can pick up since really unique souvenirs or gifts for people out of town. Try the liquid chocolate. She's also won awards for her ice cream (instagram worthy with a delicate chocolate butterfly)... And I believe there's also lemonade now? I haven't tried that yet but I saw a sign for it. There are other items that are Manitoba that she sells in the store so it's a nice place to stop it you need gifts that reflect the region.
They are currently offering chocolate afternoon tea. If you can get a group of 4 together is under $20 each.

Small but spacious store. Wasn't busy at all on a Tuesday afternoon. Was greeted soon after we arrived. Decided to try their chocolate shake for $7. The staff were friendly. I had to wait a while before a staff member in the kitchen noticed I was waiting. There was only one employee on the floor and he was busy with a customer. She came and took my order. I got my shake within 10 minutes. It was very rich and well worth the money. Will definitely come back to try the fudge ice cream sandwich!

You can find a chocolate for every special occasion with friendly and experienced staff ready to take orders no matter how unusual or intricate the shape. Entering the shop is an experience on its own with wonderful sights and smells and an opportunity to relax with the best hot chocolate or cold chocolate treat to be found anywhere.

Chocolatier Constance Popp is a shop like no other. As soon as you step in this quaint chocolate boutique, your senses are treated to the sweet delectable aroma of Constance's creations. They are also a delight to the eyes with various shapes, sizes and colours and some filled with wonderful flavourful surprises. The art that is chocolate is taken to another level here; rivalling some of Europe's best chocolatiers. Also available are petit desserts, hot chocolate to die for and various seasonal treats. If you live in Winnipeg and haven't had Constance Popp chocolate you are missing out and if you're a visitor to the city, it's a must stop shop to put on your list.

I just participated in the Easter Chocolate Workshop. This was the best $75 investment in a workshop I have ever made. In two hours, the group learned a quick history on the cocoa bean and chocolate with samples to touch and taste. Then it was on to the kitchen where we learned about proper techniques with chocolate as well as a free Constance Popp Chocolates original recipe to taste, work with and take home. We had regular taste tests of the variety of items we were using and knowing it was all of the best quality made it even better. Constance and her crew also explained some of the commercial equipment in the kitchen and gave us a chance to try our hand at using it. Near the end of the workshop, we were generously given assorted chocolates to fill our large chocolate Easter egg shell as well as a chance to decorate our own egg with all the options available. Once the eggs were complete, we were given one of the shops own containers, ribbon and decor to complete a lovely presentation of our egg nice enough to give as a gift or selfishly admire for ourselves. The value of what we drank, ate and came home with was well above and beyond the $75 for the workshop. The staff was excellent and friendly. I highly recommend taking one of these workshops.

The hard work that goes into making all the chocolate ‘art’ is amazing. It’s more expensive than store bought chocolate obviously, but it’s definitely more than worth it. I’ve made few trips in the past 6 months, including this Easter and Christmas. My only complaint was the Yule log cake was a tiny bit dry on the actual cake component, but the icing was rich and nice and all the chocolate pieces were exquisite.

For our first anniversary, I came home to Claude Debussy on the radio, Boeuf Bourguignon on the stove, and a beautiful (and also delicious) chocolate Eiffel Tower made from silky smooth dark chocolate from Constance Popp Chocolates. It was one of the most memorable meals I will ever have and that dark chocolate Eiffel Tower was truly the icing on the cake. I love visiting Constance Popp Chocolates because there is always something perfect for an everyday treat and its also the best place to shop for something special. Everybody loves chocolate, why not get the very best. A true community store, the fantastic staff will help you pick the right treat to satisfy your taste buds or help arrange a special gift. Please visit but make sure you save a triple chocolate bar or two for me!
