Review The Canadian Brewhouse - Winnipeg

Geoffrey
This restaurant has an okay amount of parking, however be aware that there are many reserved spots for other businesses nearby. The restaurant itself is quite nice and has several option for dining in. We chose to eat inside, however there is a nice looking patio. We were seated promptly by friendly staff. The staff looked after us very well. The food was really good. The refills didn't need prompting. I had the Hawaiin pizza on traditional crust, it was very good. Others had shepherds' pie, quesadillas and tacos, all very good. Super friendly staff. Definitely a great place to meet friends. We will be back.

Great place for a meal or to hangout and watch any sporting event on TV. Large patio at this place, as well as ample indoor seating. The parking lot is shared between multiple businesses and restaurants. We have been a few times with friends and always had a great meal. Really liked the fish tacos this time. Good pizza and quesadillas. Shepherds Pie was very good as well. Friendly and attentive staff. We will visit again. Thanks

Good chain restaurant for sports watching. Food was ok, but that’s not why you’d go here, there’s a lot of beer and lots of TVs. Good place to watch a game, or pregame for one

Awesome place, great service, and amazing food.!! Try the Buffalo Wrap with Yam Fries and the sauce it comes with!

Service was great ,friendly and knowledgeable. However some food was questionable. Beef brisket sandwich was over toasted, hard as croutons. The brisket was crumbled roast beef. Not sliced and the taste was not there. VERY DISAPPOINTING. Also the food was not hot looked like it sat for a bit before being brought to the table. Other dishes were good.

I was at brewhouse last evening with my friends and I have to say that the entire experience was just AMAZING. Great customer service and on top of it We LOVED how Brewhouse matched our energy and On their disco lights for us to dance a little there and enjoy our evening. From drinks to food to customer service it was just Top notch. Thank you for keeping up the great work Team Brewhouse :) We will see ya soon :)

I dont often leave negative reviews but the food here is super bland. We got the Chicken Tenders and the Ice house Burger and neither of us enjoyed our meal. The fries were cold and had no seasoning on them. The burger managed to have basically not flavor despite having tonne of toppings on it and the burger patty was frozen and unseasoned. Our drinks were good but for the price they are charging, I was very disappointed in the quality of the food.

My husband and I went last night for valentines, thankfully we had a reservation (it was busy). The food was really good, we waited a little longer than usual but it was really busy. Our server Elsa was unreal, cannot say enough good things about her or the Brewhouse.

First visit, loved the outdoor patio! It took us awhile to go through the menu and make our decision. Our waitress was very attentive and popped back every few minutes to see how we were doing until we finally decided. Enjoyed my fish and chips, our appy was great. My granddaughter found her burger a little lack lustre, and it was graciously removed from our bill. A bit loud, but nothing that would keep me from returning. We could use a CBH in St. James!!

Friday the 13th, second game of the JETS vs WILD playoff series - we went there as a family (with older kids). We had a blast!! Our waitress was very attentive and our appies were really good, especially the dry ribs. The manager bought the whole place a shot of Fireball and we won a round of the Jets themed slushy drink because our puck number scored a goal (thanks #25, Paul Stasny!!) It was a great atmosphere and great way to watch the game. Will go back!

Wasn't too impressed when I went and don't know if I will be back. I made a reservation for the night and got a confirmation. The first waitress said my party was already there which was odd when I was with everyone. So we walked around the whole restaurant and patio to try and find people from our group. We walk back to the front and they were. Like oh there's no reservation for you. So no clue what happened there. Either way we got a spot. However when we ordered food we got it cold. My friend ended up sending hers Back three times before she finally gave up and didn't want it. Luckily our waitress was great about it and removed it from her bill, but her attitude was still awful and had to wait over 15 minutes for a drink. Just wasn't an enjoyable time and was super disappointed.
Greg Ballard
Loved the atmosphere, giant portion sizes and wide variety menu. Also thought the 50/50 pot was fun too while watching the Blue Bombers game! Will definitely be back!

The best place in Winnipeg for the coldest beers, greatest onion rings, fabulous Brewhouse Wrap & of course the friendliest staff going. Keep an eye out for their Tomahawk Nights.
Brett Bailey
All about that beer selection. We just had beer nachos and wings. Food was good. I love goose island and it's hard to find places with it on tap. This place does
Andrea Silk
The service at this place was absolutely terrible! Our waitress was more concerned about flirting with the 2 tables of gentlemen behind us. Barely checked in with us. It literally took one and a half hours before we ordered food. Then to top it off, half our table's food came out 10 mins before the rest. Then our bill was done incorrectly. Found it very expensive: sandwich, quesadilla and 2 drinks each was over 80 bucks.

Last visit deserves a 5. Service for our group of 8 was fantastic (think it was Tiff - great server!). Loved the salt n vinegar fish & chips.
Madison Nicole
Went here for poutine week specifically, very glad my boyfriend and I ended up sharing the burger and salad as well! The burger and salad were so delicious (bc burger and Caesar salad) but the French onion poutine had more onions then fries! We both could only eat a few bites before agreeing that it was waaaay too much! Luckily the other food and the friendly service made up for it! Really cool drink selection as well!
Priscilla Cole
Love the patio and weekend brunch! A great place to catch the game and catch up with friends.
Mallory JP
Had an excellent time! The food and dessert were delicious. Jason was the perfect bartender! Our drinks were delicious and made perfectly custom to each of us. Service was friendly and everything came out in a timely manner. Very pleased with our experience! Will be back for sure.

4 adults/2children on Good Friday evening. The kids were blown away by the magician who came to the table and Afton was the friendliest server I have encountered in quite a while. She was very attentive, polite, smiled and engaged in conversation. Food was good. Great first experience; will return with high guest services standards.
Donna Kowalski Tschetter
We only stopped in to have a beer but shared a starter... A hot cheese dip with bread and nacho chips! It was DELICIOUS!!! There were so many things I wanted to try on the menu, I can't wait to go back. Our server was super friendly and attentive!!
Ernest Okaro
It was a first time visit and the patio was neat with very good crowd. The service was awesome too!!

Just wanted to give Brewhouse Kenaston a HUGE shoutout! My husband and I ordered dinner tonight through skip the dishes. When our ordered showed up my dinner was missing.. I called and receive amazing service from the manager Colin! He made sure my dinner was delivered hot and he threw in something extra for me! I have always enjoyed the food and atmosphere at the brewhouse and he totally turned a crappy situation right around!

This place started in Edmonton. I'm Oilers fan living in Winnipeg so I come here for Friday or Saturday nights. Best drinks, food and servers. Seriously it's best sports bar in city
Tina Sorensen
Restaurant? No...loud, obnoxious dance music blaring, diner quality food, over-priced night club. Would never go again.
Laurel Curtis
Loved everything about it! The staff were friendly and efficient, the atmosphere was inviting, and the food and beverages were reasonably priced and delicious. Especially the dessert poutine - it was orgasmic! We will absolutely be returning!
Christine McClure Aquin
Our second meal at Canadian Brewhouse on Kenaston and it was just as good as the first. The food, atmosphere, and staff can't be beat. You have to try their pizza! Thank you Rachel for another great experience at Canadian Brewhouse!! Looking forward to our next meal there.

Was not satisfied with the visit. We found the server to be dismissive and a bit once we changed our appetizer order( maybe a minute later after our first choice). We had no time to pick as she was standing there waiting after only receiving our menus 1-2 minimum prior . Our drink orders took about 10 minutes and had we had the menus during that time we could have looked at all the choices and not few rushed. The food was not flavourful . The bun for my burger was hard, husbands fries were over cooked and similar to hard little sticks. Once meal was done we again waited 10 -15 mins for the bill , had to have it corrected before paying. Only thing truly enjoyed was the appetizer we had. Service could definitely improve to make guests feel more welcome.
Alyssa
Food was okay. Enjoyed our company but as a bigger group got put in a corner under a tv. Not likely to go back due to price points but definitely see the convenience of location and service.
William Yaeger
Sat on the Patio. Waited 10 minutes to be greeted and offered a menu. Had to suggest we'd like to order a drink. Wrong beer brought in about 10 minutes. Were left alone with the menu for another 15 before we ordered. Food was fast. Wife got a cheese steak that was ok but her salad had 2 rotting cherry tomatoes on it. Had The donaire pizza. Meat was tiny chunks of flavourless meat and the whole thing was over powered by a really sweet sauce. Not a good experience.
Daniel Vitt
Took 30 minutes for drinks. Told server when she delivered the drinks we would order food, she said she would come back. In 2 hours she didn't come back. Restaurant was half full at best.
Grant Debra
I like the patio but have had a couple strange experiences inside. One time when we arrived the main floor was quite full but we found a table on the raised area. We made ourselves comfortable and then we were told told, in a way that wasn't open for discussion, we HAD to move as this area was closed. The one open table on the main area was not inviting so we left.
Another time, yesterday, we were told to sit anywhere. We went to the higher area as there was a couple tables vacant. Again we were told to sit anywhere. Halfway into our meal we were asked if we could move to another table to make room for a larger party. That's just weird!
Jim Gibbons
We sat at the bar since the tables were full. Bartender was friendly and helpful with the menu. Our food was really good and prices are fair, defiantly will go back. Looks like a great place in the summer on their patio.

SAVE YOUR TIME & MONEYThis is genuinely the worst dining experience and restaurant I have ever been to. The food was ridiculously overpriced and came out cold, one example: a COLD poutine! The cheese wasn't melted, the gravy was a cold blob on top, and the fries were microwaved. The drinks didn't come with the extravagant garnishes promised on the menu, the food is so overpriced ($12 for cheetos and tater tots.)Their vision could have been successful but is SO lacking at this location.
Lori
Nice patio good service. Had the beef and chicken soft tacos which are Tuesday happy hour special. I guess for 2.50 a pop what did we expect?? Dried out little wraps with a teaspoon over overcooked beef and chicken with like amout of anemic tomato and lettuce. Nothing like sour cream or guac or SOMETHING to keep them at least moist. 711 I'm sure has better tacos. These need an overhaul big time. Would def not order these EVER.

Great place to go to get away and enjoy some nice patio weather. I have come here six times now and like a good Bordeaux, it get's better with each visit. The first visit, there was a huge learning curve, had never had one of those electronic devices and it confused the heck out of me. Menu is large so it was hard to figure out what to order, they have lots of specials and I enjoy there pizza (thin Crust) so much. Food is good, the hostesses are friendly and for the most part very attentive to your needs.will definitely go here again and again and .........

A group of work friends and I came here last evening and were lucky enough to score a spot on the very busy patio. We took forever to order because the menu was so huge, plus we kept stopping to read all the jokes to each other. Contrary to what another reviewer said, these were fairly harmless. In fact, they were silly puns more than anything else - nowhere near offensive.

I ordered the nachos for one, which is rare to see on a menu. Sometimes you don't want a Costco-sized plate of nachos to share with the table, so it was nice to have the individual option as a meal, reasonably priced at $9.99. It was $4.99 to add chicken or beef, which seems like a lot, and I'd had a huge serving of beef brisket at lunch earlier, so I declined on this front. There wasn't enough sour cream and salsa for the size of the nachos, which was slightly disappointing.

The service was pretty good. There's a button you can press on this little device which sits on the table and it basically pages your server to come over to your table. We didn't really have to use it, though. My one minor complaint is that she took my glass but I wasn't finished my drink yet. There was still some sangria in there!

The dessert poutine was the best part of our experience. The donut fries reminded me of a cross between a churro and a mini-donut. We ordered this to share, along with the peanut butter cheesecake, and everyone loved them both.
The Heavy Hitters
Conflicted about this place a bit. On one hand, the patio looks incredible, with big cushiony seats overlooking the man made lake. The drinks are very expensive (wouldn't consider a $5 highball a great happy hour special) but there are some fun creations, especially shots, if you don't mind emptying your wallet. Went here to watch a game once and there was a good vibe. The onion rings were fantastic. On a recent trip we tried a small selection of appetizers, a small 2 topping pizza, "pound" of boneless wings and Greek salad. The Greek salad had no feta and when we pointed it out they said they were out of feta. Not sure why they bothered to serve it, so we returned it. The 2 topping pizza was piled with topping and pretty good. Except the jalapeños were raw and a huge layer of them was a bit much. The "pound" of wings was 8 small pieces for $14. We aren't good at eyeball weighing but it was the smallest pound of wings we had ever seen. Sauces were good but definitely not worth the price. We would return, knowing what to expect, possibly on wing night when they are half off.

If your idea of a brewhouse is big brewery fare then this is the place for you. A "brewhouse" that doesn't seem to talk about beer on their website. Big red flag folks!

With the explosion of excellent local brew available I don't know why anyone would make a point of heading to The Canadian Brewhouse on purpose. I was taken here on a whim and exited very quickly. It's a cookie cutter environment that lends itself more to a bad US chain than an interesting place for good beer. Just another disposable establishment that will more than likely vanish as quick as it arrived.

Not my cup of tea, or should I say pint of beer :-)
Lanvy Tran
Food is pretty good so I can't complain there. However the service is not the greatest. Last time I was there we waited 20 minutes for drinks and then another 15 to order.... but like I said previously, the food was pretty good.

Had a great time last night at The Canadian Brewhouse!! We group of 6+ of us were there for several hours and were very well taken care of. Good beer specials, food was good. Our server got a great feel for our group, had a great sense of humour and kept us engaged. Will be back, especially to check out the patio!!

Came here for a quick beer and snack break in between shopping at several of the nearby stores. It just so happened that they had steins and wings on special so I decided to get one of each.

This physical building has held many names. With each rendition, the interior has only changed slightly. Canadian Brewhouse has completely renovated the place and I feel they have finally gotten the interior right. Lots of screens and just an all around great atmosphere.

Service was a bit slow and several of the advertised beers were no longer available. However, what we were served was excellent. There certainly is no shortage of bars with screens in the area, but if you want the emphasis on sports, this place delivers.

Came in for bunch this morning for steak and eggs. The steak was cooked to perfection and Erica did a great job serving us. Cant wait to bring the family in with me next time !

Had a fantastic night at brewhouse with a group of friends for his birthday. I had a burger and poutine and it was great. Everyone else in the group said their food was great as well. Mackenzie was our server tonight and she was very attentive and always on top of things. We will definitely be back in the future!

Went on a Saturday night and shared a pitcher of sangria with a friend, which was on special. Peter helped us out at the bar and was extremely friendly. A DJ was playing a good mix of new and throwback music. I had the Buffalo Chicken Burger with Onion Rings, I loved the spicy dipping sauce that the onion rings came with. Finished the night with a dessert poutine, which was insanely good.

Had a delightful time at the Canadian Brewhouse! So much energy, great service and just an overall wonderful atmosphere. Shared appetizers with friends and had red sangria to drink, everything was just lovely! Can't wait to return again, especially for patio season.

Was here for St Patty's day and the atmosphere was great. Service was very fast for how busy it was, and the Guinness stew was delicious. Will definitely be back!
Suzanne Penner
Great place, amazing service. Mackenzie was our server tonight and she did a fantastic job. Menu is great and drinks are even better. We will definitely be back and would recommend to anyone!

Had a great time tonight with friends ! For dinner we tried a Guinness stew paired with green Guinness Tankards. Will be back in the morning for some hangover brunch and mimosas. :)

Brittany was the best!!! Awesome time, happy St.Pat's day. Green beer and steak bites, perfect pairing.... Cheers! Can't wait till your patio opens... counting the days till the warm weather hits. Bob says aim for Easter boys!!!

Forget about fishbowl Friday. Flavour Fridays at brew is lit. The yam fries are amazballs, even if you don't like yam fries these will change your life. Go see Brittany she's the best server!

The Canadian Brewhouse is a sports bar that is filled with a wide range of age groups. I absolutely love the ambient! I enjoy coming here for their wings night on Wednesdays. I usually am not a fan of boneless wings but somehow I'm in love with the BBQ boneless wings from CB! Aside from great wings that CB serves, the burgers are delicious too!

I had their poutine once and would not recommend it. The fries were good but the gravy wasn't...

Overall, the food from CB is pretty decent. However, its price range is definitely on the higher end.

On the other hand, there are always drinks on special, especially their tankards, which are of great value.

If you're looking for a place to have a beer or two with friends, this could be it! However, just don't have too much expectation on the service because the servers are not the most attentive and you will be disappointed.
Mike Billmer
Definately not impressed with the food here for the price
Was very disappointed in the fishy tasting fish and chips, must be haddock or something real cheap
Nachos were terrible, not much cheese and undercooked green peppers and onions
Hamburger .. typical 2/3 bun and 1/3 burger, huge piece of tomato... wasnt very balanced
Chicken fingers .. way overdone
The salads here are not bad, poutine was reasonable
Lots of drinks... go for the drinks

We decided to try out the brewhouse for our grey cup party this year. We reserved tables for 32 of us. Everyone in our group was impressed with the prompt service and the amazing job the staff did. Large menu variey, with really good prices, and everything that we ordered was great. This is the first place we have taken our group to where we had no complaints from anyone, we will definitely be booking with them again for our next event.
Truth
Perfect place for Sunday brunch. Not crowded at all, cozy place, service is friendly, so far the food is great - no complaints there. Look forward to trying the other items on their extensive menu.

Been here a few times with my friends and my wife and every time we come in we have a better and better experience. The staff is so friendly and there selection on the menu is awesome, the burgers are my favourite. If you haven't been here yet you really need to check it out. It's my favourite place to go watch sports!

I came here tonight with some friends the atmosphere were super awesome and the staff was even more friendly! I love coming here and I recommend everyone to try it out! Kaite was my server tonight, she was exceptional, both managers were on tonight and were very kind to us. Well be back again, and again!
LostTeacher
Not overly impressed. Took a long time to get served. Then longer to get drinks. Had like 4 people serve us thru the evening. Our server was so overwhelmed that we felt sorry for her. Was super loud, could not even hear one another talk. With the nachos, if you wanted guac, it was an additional $5! Woah. Our shrimp dish was tiny for how much it cost, and way too much cheese vs shrimp. Probably our fault for going on a day after the football game, a lot of intoxicated people. Donny think we will be back.
Dean Fischer
service not terrible went for the berger fest but did i have to pay for all those tv,s in one visit 30 bucks for a burger come on what a money grab not a good long term plan folks won't be back!!!
Chantal
Awesome patio!! Horrible pizza unless you get the small, twice the pizza dough was almost raw, however we were reimbursed. Will still go back again
Allan Gray
The short rib shepherds pie was a amazing and the nachos are awesome. LOVE LOVE LOVE the patio! Would recommend this place to all my friends. Hopefully next I will have a chance to try their huge selection of beer

Been here twice over the past month. Nice sports bar. Patio is nice, only problem is it is right next to a pond which spawns a bunch of skeeters. Got eaten alive on both nights while chilling on the patio. Nachos are awesome here. Large portion and just enough toppings, totally recommend the nachos..
Other appetizers like the wings, calamari and steak bites were disappointing.

A girlfriend and I came here for some wine and snacks on Thursday night. To our surprise, it was wine night! Brittanie was our server and she was more than helpful when it came to selecting wine. She made a few suggestions based on our tastes, and we ended up going with the J Lohr. We shared the fried pickles as well as the breaded shrimp that was on special. I will definitely be back!

We spent three hours at IKEA today. Needing a place for supper that had no children at it, we choose this restaurant. We found a booth with no problem even though we went at six. Our server was Jewel P. Great dinner. Her recommendations were spot on, the food was fast (even though they were busy), and our drinks were never empty.
Randy Fyfe
Went here the first time the other day.

It was quite busy and loud as there was a sporting event on TV.
This seems like a great place to go with friends to watch a game.

However I was there for a quick bite to eat. I sat at the bar ordered a beer and the special for the day, and was served very quickly. I drank my beer and ate my dinner, paid and left in about 40 minutes; extremely fast in my opinion.

I was quite impressed that the manager made time to come by to talk to me to make sure I was getting good service, which I was. The bar tender that was taking my order made a point to learn my name, and make sure I was served well.

The food was prepared how I asked, tasty and of good quality. However I felt a little cheated as the special how it was explained, apparently didn't include the side I was asked if I wanted. It seemed to be explained the price included the side, but apparently it did not, and I was charged $3.50 on top of what I ordered, which the lack of explanation and added price makes me hesitant to give this place a perfect score.

I would say the atmosphere, service, and prices competes and wins against boston pizza, and I would rather go here than smitty's to watch a game.
Clare
Have stopped by here 3 times once for lunch, once for dinner and once later in the evening. Servers are friendly however can't seem to get an order straight. When in for lunch half our group got their food and the other half proceeded to wait 15 minutes before theirs came out (there was only 6 of us), another time my partner was asked if he'd like chicken on his salad he said no he's a vegetarian the meal came out with chicken he addressed the issue to the server and he was still charged for the chicken.... The uniforms are also very distasteful when the servers lean over to grab things the flash you since the skirts are so short, and it seems unsanitary to be wearing sleeveless tops?
Laura Lehto
Great food, fantastic service and a very fun atmosphere. Try out the nachos and pizza's with a tankard of beer, my favourite! Get to the Canadian Brewhouse, you will love it!
Ty Dan
Great place to watch any game! TVs wherever you look, great cold beers and the menu and food is also great! Can't wait for NFL to start and to go watch the games there!
Colt45oilbro
Been to the brewhouse twice now, and each time has been a wonderful experience. Went last week for some Prime Rib, and got the double sized portion... Wow was it monstrous! Couldn't finish it all. Went for lunch earlier this week, and our server was attentive and friendly, and got us in and out in a timely manner. I've found my new spot for Jets games, and I see they are starting to work on their patio. Can't wait to lounge out there, so hurry up!
Good atmosphere, friendly staff. We sat at the bar while waiting for a table and decided to stay there as we had food coming and the bartender was attentive. We had the donair pizza and the perogy pizza, both were excellent. Lots of toppings and garlic butter on the crust is a nice touch. Another member of our group ordered a prime rib dinner that he was very impressed with. We had a great overall experience, especially considering how busy the room was. I will definitely be going back to try the weekend brunch.
Jess Dillon
Always enjoy the food and service at The Canadian Brewhouse! Great atmosphere at any hour! Would strongly recommend to anyone who hasn't been!

Best. Time . Ever!
Tasty food. Loved the Jonny cash wings! Favorite thing was the names of all their shooters! Dingles and woodies or something! So fun. I ordered them by colors! Neat idea guys. I did have a great bartender who convinced me that an unsung(which is a GIANT shooter!) was a good idea.....thanks James! Needless to say, I had a great time and will be back again and again!

Went with a group of women on a weeknight at for dinner at dinner time. The music from the speaker was unacceptably loud. Luckily there was a spot for me at the end of the table where there was no speaker. The air conditioning made the place freezing on a not so warm evening. The woman beside me said that she was getting a headache from the loud music. Another friend's meal did not come out at all, when she asked the server about it, a manager came and explained that they had "messed u" her order, she couldn't hear him, so he walked closer to her and told her the kitchen had "screwed up" her order and that he'd give her a discount on her meal. It arrived once everyone else had finished their meals. When the bill came, the discount was a measly 20% off!
Melyssa
Went on a fundraiser night. 40oz steaks and a beer for $40.00. The steak was great and I couldn't belive how big it was. I would go back again as we had a fantastic evening with excellent service.
Meghan Kathleen
Terrible food everything tasted like it was cooked from frozen. I said the salad wasn't very good and didn't eat any of it and they still charged us. Bad service and bad food seriously do not go here
Trevor Day
Service was acceptable. Food, once our order was fixed, was alright.
Our initial server was off at 5 ( we had reservations for 430), and the server who took over did a good job.
My fish was burnt, and my brother's beef dip had horseradish sauce even though he had asked for none. Our server immediately ordered 2 new dishes and left the originals for us to snack on while everyone else ate. Then offered a 30% discount since the kitchen had made a mistake.
Everyone else's food was fine, the kid's portions were huge ( so we didn't mind paying for milk that wasn't included in the meal, but pop was).
Overall, it is another chain restaurant that is having a small learning curve after opening recently. So I can't be too hard on them.
Was hoping for a few more craft beers due to the name.
We'll give them another try in the future.

The Swizzle Styx had lunch here yesterday and we had a great time...the food was excellent, the atmosphere was fun and the service was very good. For an appetizer we had the steak bites and they were awesome, melt in your mouth morsels of delicious steak. We had a pizza, shepherd's pie, and the fish & chips. We all thoroughly enjoyed the food and the entire experience, we will be back!
FatBstard
Menu has a pretty varied selection of options. Everything I shoved down my throat was very good. Service was excellent, but I couldn't see the TV's because there were too many TV's in the way. Will go back.
Intrepid Diner
Overall I enjoyed my visit to this place and I will likely go back.

I went for a late lunch, so it wasn't overly busy. Essentially, this place is a sports bar. There are a lot of television screens showing various games and the decor has an emphasis on hockey. There are a number of booths as well as some tables that feature chairs across from a padded bench. I found the seating to be quite comfortable. The tables where I was sitting are nicely spaced out so you don't have to listen to the conversation of the people nearby. It is also well lit.

My server was friendly and fairly attentive. She knew the menu very well and was happy to offer suggestions and quick to answer my questions. She was also quick with my drink refills.

The menu is fairly extensive, but prices are a bit higher than comparable places. They have everything from burgers, steaks, smoked meat sandwiches to pizza and poutine. A basic burger costs $17, a double burger will run you $22. The basic sides are fries, soup, salad etc. If you want to upgrade to things like onion rings or yam fries (there are several upgrade options available) it will cost an extra $2.

There are food and drink specials associated with each day of the week. They don't kick in until after 4 p.m. For example, wing night is on Wednesdays for $5. They have a deal on pizza on Sundays. They do feature a daily lunch special. The day I went the lunch special was an 8 oz steak with mashed potatoes and caesar salad for $13. I was allowed to switch the mashed potatoes for fries and to change the salad to a tossed salad at no extra charge. The steak was quite tender and had a nice flavour to it. It wasn't overwhelmingly great, but I did enjoy it. The salad was fresh with very crisp vegetables. The fries were fairly average, I think the next time I go I will pay the $2 and try the onion rings. There was a large portion of fries on the plate, served in a paper cone. The special also included a free lottery ticket. I have never seen that as a promotion before.

As I understand it, this place is extremely busy at night. I don't know if they take reservations. If they do, it is likely a good idea to make them.
The Hangry Accountant
Good food, good service and cool interior. Better than Barley Brothers for beer and pub food. Huge menu selection and everything we had was tasty. I'd especially recommend it if you want to watch the game or go out to somewhere with action.
Westrock Battery
Went there during a Jets game, impossible to miss any of the action with TV's everywhere. Very busy, but food came quick, too quick because they undercooked my Wife's and Her Mothers Steak Sandwiches (Came Out Medium Rare, Ordered Well Done) so they took them back cooked them right, sent 2 Managers over to apologize, knocked 30% off the bill on each dinner and gave us 3 free Steins of Beer. No business is perfect but they did a great job making it right, we will be back.

Really cool place, definitely going to be a new go-to on Friday and Saturday nights. Very similar feel to the Pint downtown. Only negative feedback I will give - and it's a big one - the prices. I would only ever order the nightly special because most drinks are regularly between 12-20 bucks each. The brunch menu looks delicious as well and I will visit for brunch in the summer regularly.
Finally, I think they have a successful business at this location. But, they should really reconsider their prices.

Love this place! The atmosphere is so much fun! Whether you're sitting at the bar top, or at a table or booth, there's always something to watch as there are SO MANY tv's in the building. You'll never miss out on any action, no matter where you sit, there's a tv right close by. Food and drink specials are amazing, very good deals. Service is so fast and friendly, everyone is so happy, it's awesome! They always have something going on, whether it's karaoke, or a DJ, or sporting event, it's always busy and fun to be a part of. I think it's amazing that they don't charge a cover fee for UFC nights also. I recommend that everyone give this gem a try. You won't be disappointed!

We tried this place last Friday night. It was a 20 min.wait and not long enough we were seated on the north upper level of the place. I ordered for the chicken strips with fries and my friend ordered for chicken wrap with ceasar's salad and paid extra for the side salad. All was good but a bit pricey. The place was packed on a Friday night and loud. If you're looking for a quiet evening this is not the place but if you're a sports fanatic with 59 big TV screens all around the corner this is the place to be. Fast and friendly service.

I went here the other night with a friend and I checked out the menu online before going. Unfortunately all of the items I was interested in, were not available at this location. We shared a spinach dip to start, and I ordered the clubhouse sandwich with fries. The clubhouse was assembled well and had the perfect amount of sauce so that it wasn't dry; however it was disappointing that it was processed turkey lunch meat and not real, fresh roasted turkey. The fries were a HUGE portion and seasoned really well. You can upgrade your fries to any poutine, but I found the charge to do so was ridiculously expensive. It was almost the price of ordering a poutine alone, and my friend who did this with her meal, got noticeably less fries than I did--so you pay more for less. The spinach dip was very good and I especially liked the crostini that came with it (wish there was more of that and less chips). Overall the prices were very expensive.... some of the humour on the menu descriptions was bad (almost offensive), and the girls were wearing a very skimpy uniform, consisting of a skirt that barely covered their assets. I hate this. I hate it for the girls who are working hard but made to be sex objects, and I think it disrespects female patrons who have no interest in seeing that. I'd probably go back as there were more items I wanted to try, but it wouldn't be top of my list.
