5 of us ate dinner there tonight. My favorite place to eat in Winnipeg and have an excellent coffee. All our dinners and desserts are amazing. Food and service is always top notch.
My wife and I went to have breakfast (late breakfast) and the place was busy. We waited about 10 mins and were seated by a very pleasant girl. My wife had a veggie omelette. She loved the omelette which came with hashbrowns/homefires and toast with a jam that was amazing !! I had the pancake breakfast which I had with 2 eggs and sausage. The pancakes were as good as I have had, the eggs were a bright yellow and super fresh and tasty, the beef sausage was very good with a bit of spice to it. The prices were decent and the service was great. We will go back next time we get to Winnipeg !! Well done Stella's !!
visited Stella's in Osborne Village. The food and service were just great.Would I ever love to have the recipe for their cabbage soup..the carrot cake was amazing. What a great place to go!
Arrived with a party of 10 on a Sunday morning. Host worked diligently to get us all seated together. Delicious breakfast and great server (Elise). Will definitely go back when I’m in Winnipeg?
My husband is vegan and I am not which sometimes makes it very difficult to eat out together. While visiting in Winnipeg this weekend, we ate at Stella’s for many of our meals with ease. Nice selection of fresh menu items for both of us My husband loves the vegan chocolate cake! Hey Stella come out to BC please!
This place is pretty much a sufficient reason to come to Winnipeg! The decor is awesome, the staff are super friendly and the building itself is really cool. I ordered the Vegan Mexican and couldn't have been happier with the choice I made. The portions were huge, and the meal substantial - beans, delicious guac, the best salsa I've ever had, and the patty things were delicious as well. I left full, with enough leftovers in hand for another meal.
Awesome service and has excellent food. Stella's has the best breakfast in the city! Only compliant is often end up waiting for a table and parking can be difficult for this location.
Stella's is always a go to whether it's breakfast, lunch or dinner! I love the atmosphere and that the servers can wear comfortable clothing. Their food definitely has the home-feel. I love the variety of foods and how everything is made from scratch. My absolute favourite dish is the dragon bowl and their London fogs are the best I've had. It's never a disappointment. My only thing to add is they can run out of certain things such some breads/ingredients and use different breads without notifying the customers which is not so great for those with allergies. And other times they will not include ingredients that are listed on the menu.
I've been here a couple of times with my work for meetings, but my boyfriend wanted to try it out since he hasn't been here before. When we were seated, the waitress was really nice. I got my regular, the Pesto Cream Linguine with chicken, and my boyfriend got the Salmon Fillet Burger. The food was delicious as usual, and they always filled up your water without even asking. My only complaints was that we were standing at the front for a long time, waiting for a waitress to seat us, and there were 2 of them at the front not talking about work related things, and they clearly saw us but decided to ignore us until their conversation was finished and finally asked if were wanting to be seated.. and then when we were seated, the girl had put us at a table that had just been wiped down so our table and our seats were still soaking wet with water. Also when i looked over, to the front, whenever someone came in, they would seat them right away so that was kind of frustrating. Other than that, the food was delicious as usual, I'll be coming back very soon.
This place stands by its name. Its been 6 months in Winnipeg and I was constantly hearing about this place but never got a chance to be there. Luckily, I got the chance today and it was marvellous. We ordered 3 items and all were amazing. Quantity was more than enough for 1 person. Staff was really nice, constantly asking about your comfort. Do not mind to wait for few minutes. This place is almost full on days.
Clean, friendly service, nice and relaxing atmosphere and you can people watch as you enjoy a coffee tea or chocolate torte. Otherwise they have Stella's usual favourites. Convenient location but be careful where you park.
Amazing breakfast. I came here with my fiancé and he was so impressed as well. It is delicious well flavoured and I will continue to eat here!
I usually order to-go from here and love that they never forget anything. I always order the Café Breakfast and it carries me through for the whole day. The only gripe I have and the reason for the 4 rather than 5 is because of the fact that sometimes the potatoes can be uncooked, some of them I would even call raw. Don't get me wrong, I Love the fact that they aren't deep fried, so don't change that, but maybe cook them longer.
We went to Stella's this week for lunch. It was fairly busy but it took us only about five minutes to get in. We got a grilled cinnamon bun, my boyfriend got the B&E burger and I had the Roast Chicken Provolone sandwich, paired with the cream of tomato soup.
The cinnamon bun was delicious and came with their Stella's berry jam. They don't toast their bread so I asked for the sandwich to be made on toast which is much better. It was pretty good except the remoulade sauce on it was weird. The soup was good after a lot of salt was added, it was fairy flavourless without it which I have found a lot of their food is in the past. I tried a bite of my boyfriends burger and it was pretty good. Fairly messy, but I expected that for a loaded burger with an egg. The hashbrowns accompanying the burger were nothing special, but the spicy coleslaw was phenomenal! The only thing negative about it was that the egg yolk was very, very orange which I would expect from organic or free range eggs, but it was suspiciously orange like it had been dyed and it stained my boyfriends hand.
The prices are fair and the food is very filling. The service is fairly impersonal but it's always busy and especially this location seems to be a kind of in and rushed out thing, as I wouldn't really want to stay and talk in there because it's so open and loud and the tables are tiny.
Another weird thing about this place were that the bathrooms are outside of the restaurant, down a few hallways and into the university building. Scary
Great location, atmosphere, food and service! I love coming to this location, the food is always great! I've tried most things on the menu and can't really complain about any of them! Great spot to hit up.
We enjoyed eating here for breakfast. The food tastes like a hearty home cooked meal with fresh and real ingredients. The service was very friendly and the restaurant itself is such a bright and happy environment. We had the baked eggs and Mexican breakfast. The homemade jam was delicious! The one thing we wished was different was that the tortilla was fried or at least crispy in the Mexican breakfast, as it detracted from the rest of the flavours.
Stella's Portage Ave never disappoints me. The service is fast even in the busy times and as my previous review inidicated, the ingredients are always in stock. Stella's YWG take note! Anyway I ordered the pesto linguine with shrimp which as always tasted amazing and my wife got the dragon bowl. We'll always come back here, we love it! Here's a cappuccino I had at the end of my meal. Looks perfect to me!
Stella's is one of those places that has a smaller menu, but all their dishes are exceptional. Everything I have tried at Stella's has been delicious. If your just going for coffee and a bake-good or a full dinner, you will find something delicious. My favourite is the vegetarian sandwich, its simple yet yummy. I love going for lunch, and the staff are so nice.
This location is always busy because of the UW crowd, but well worth the wait for a decent meal. I find this place better than other Stella's locations, actually.
Service is friendly and prompt. You get your food fairly quick. I get the pancake special here. Sometimes I order some cinnamon buns or lace cookies to go. Good alternative to the UWinnipeg cafeteria, although it's about the same price point, if not more. At least the portions are big enough to take home!
Ahh Stella's what a long and winding road it has been. About five years ago I had given up on this local chain. Perhaps it was because it was expanding faster than Romans in the Mediterranean, but something seemed off about it, the food which had been quite solid at one time, was just not impressing. I had way to many mediocre meals and one downright bad one. Now a few years later things have really turned around, the consistency and quality of the kitchen is much improved. In fact the Portage Ave. Stella's has become a regular spot to grab a bite. One of the assets of Stella's is that the menu is expansive and varied, and the quantity of the food impress. Stella's does a great job of offering diversity particularly for folks looking for a place that will please a group. Need a vegetarian/vegan breakfast spot that will also please your carnivore parents, this is it.
Mmmm. I don't know if there is anything on their menu that isn't delicious and fresh. Granted I haven't tried everything because everytime I go I'm so tempted to order my favourite - the club with spinach salad. The sandwich is awesome and the salad is just the BEST! I have tried a few other things and have never been disappointed. Everyone I've gone with has always loved their food too.
If you want a sure thing, go here! The service is always friendly too :)
As always. I have been here at Stella's near the UofW for a couple of times and they always cater great servicw and great food! Love stella's!
Great Food!. Ate on their patio. Only complaint is that the decor is bland and the smells of downtown weren't always pleasant.
Updated April 16 2017 Had breakfast there today after a very long time. Stella's was excellent. Food cooked exactly right , service attentive but not in your face. We could clearly hear someone directing, or coaching the employees . Excellent to see someone supervising their team and it showed . Yay!, we will be back .
.
What is happening here. This was such a favorite, good food and very good service. The manager was so on the ball and the staff were excellent. I know the management changed so unfortunately has the service. Over the last few months the staff have become very disinterested. Service is slow. Orders take ages. It has been a bit since we came and I noticed the menu has changed with my bf favourite no longer listed. I simply mentioned thst the menu had changed and got a "uh-huh" Today we saw orders waiting to be picked up,and when our orders arrived it was just placed on the table and she was gone. I happen to like hot sauce ,never a problem to get it. But she was gone so fast there was no opportunity to request it. She popped by quite a while later to "check on the first bites" and again was gone before I could ask. Not the end of the world I know. When the cheque was requested quite a while after we were finished the wait was very long. When we got it we were told (we did not ask why the wait) it was because she was handling a complicated order. This is never something a cusromer needs to hear. Maybe the complicated order should have waited.
A lovely place to grab a quick bite or to lounge around. The servers are friendly and super attentive. My younger brother had the Stella's Club with a Caesar salad for his side and I had the Provolone Roasted Chicken sandwich with hash browns. The sandwich was great but the hash browns were a little bit of a let down. They were underdone and a tad burnt. But there was a lot of food so we had to take the rest home. All in all it was a nice place for a quick meal.
I love cheese cake with caramel sauce.
Burnt Hashbrowns. Please stop burning the hashbrowns. The cafe breakfast is bomb, but I'm always left with little pieces of small, dark potatoes that are inedible.
Otherwise, I love all the locations. Had my first date here and it was the best. Also, the chai lattes are to DIE for.
My favourite!!. I LOVE Stellas. I've been here about 5 times and I have never been disappointed. Their breakfast is so fresh and their jam - ugh! I don't even like jam but Stellas an exception. Another favourite of mine would be their chicken burger. The sauce is sooo good and creamy. Mine came with fries. THIS. BURGER. IS. A. MUST. GET! I like this dish the most out of everything I've tried here.
I live far from downtown Winnipeg but I'd definitely go out of my way just to grab this burger. My friends had their pasta and regular burger (with mushroom) and they LOVE it.
One time I came here for their dessert - a macaroon. It was okay! Got quite a big slice that I couldn't finish. The first few bites are awesome and then it gets way too sweet.
Great breakfast and great service! I'll take Stella's over Cora's any day!
Had the curried chick pea and rice for lunch . It was an excellent meal. The service was very friendly and helpful. Been there three times in the past few months, its the best restaurant in the area, by far.
Here's a Tip. Great service. Except for the young woman with the velvety voice who addressed herself exclusively to my man- friend: he'd have tipped far more if she'd flirted with me instead.
Open til 11pm Sunday-very impressed! (I also work at a restaurant)
So good I went back a second time!. On my recent vacation to Winnipeg, one of the places I had on my list to check out in terms of restaurants was Stella's, as it was listed as one of the best vegetarian eateries in the Peg, and it didn't disappoint! The first time I went, was for breakfast and it was wonderful! The service was amazing, as well as the food! The veggie patties were delicious, with my eggs and toast and hash browns. The portion was well worth the price, as it was hard to finish everything. I also met a local architect, Fringe performer and her family and NDP MPP Kevin Chief. The second time I went was for lunch and it was packed, and was once again worth the wait. I had the same waitress, as well! And the Gentleman architect was there as well. I guess I'm not the only one who appreciated Stella's amazing food, service and friendly atmosphere. I would highly recommend Stella's to anyone who lives in or is visiting Winnipeg .
Consistantly Mediocre. Everything is decent, but nothing is great. Staff is always genuinely friendly and it has a nice atmosphere.
Best. Ever.. I live here. They might as well set me up with a bed. Stella's is my favorite, I've decided.
A friend of mine lives nearby and my husband and I went for an early lunch at Stella's today after hearing such great things. We weren't disappointed.
The prices were fair, the food was delicious and the staff very pleasant and helpful. The coffee was a little burnt the first time around but the server brought us a fresh cup that certainly made up for it.
Parking is a little tricky in the area but if you don't mind a small walk, or paying, you'll be fine.
There were so many items I wanted to try on the menu that we'll certainly be back!
Enjoy!
Open late & extensive menu. Don't know why I haven't submitted this review yet, I've been raving about it for a week...
Went to Stella's with husband & mother late after comedy fest. We've been to the Sherbrook resto before & had decent experiences but they seem to be hitting the nail on the head at this location.
Was seated immediately by a very sweet & friendly server. I also appreciate that she did not hesitate to give us her honest opinions on things like which dessert to order (more about that later).
Being a vegetarian, I usually have very few choices if any choices at all, so Stella's vegetarian friendly as well as all day breakfast menu complicates things for me...in a fantastic way.
I decided on eggplant Parmesan, the husband on the veggies burger & the ma on fish tacos. Before those came out an ice tea came. I find that ice tea in restaurants is a coin toss. Is it gonna be pop or is it gonna be the real stuff? If its the real stuff, is it going to be sweetened? Will it be lemony? This ice tea was real. It came in a huge tumbler with very small ice balls(?) and two slices of lemon. It was PERFECT! I'd go back for the ice tea alone. Real tea (not grainy) but not bitter & just really drinkable.
I was thinking that the eggplant Parmesan would be similar to olive garden's (breaded with marinara & melted cheese). It was not. it was however, delicious. They did not bread the eggplant but I believe it was grilled on the flat top with cheese (sparingly) melted on to a point where it was a nice salty crunch. The slices were thin (My belief is that the cruelest thing you can do to eggplant Parmesan is cut it too think) & plated atop linguini. It was excellent.
Veggies burger had a fruit tapenad that my husband enjoyed & came with a pumpkin soup that he wouldn't share. Fish tacos (although unsampled by myself) looked gorgeous & came with all the right fixing plus matchsticks of long, white radishes (daikon?)
Dessert was cheesecake with our choice of strawberry or raspberry topping. It was nothing to write home about but the slices were large & satisfying.
Looking forward to going again.
Delicious!. I've never had a fried egg/omelette made as well as here. Most places burn the edges. The potato products are fresh, not held all day and the bread is made-fresh-to-die-for.
Serving staff is spectacular. Thanks for bringing Winnipeg's downtown into the 21st century guys!
Weekly Diner. As a student of U of W I find there are lots of places to grab a bite to eat - Elements, Pangea's, even Black Sheep Diner - but Stella's is where I often find myself sitting down with friends. It can be pretty packed right at noon but if you get there before or after you shouldn't have to wait long.
The service is always pretty good - not the best service I've ever had at a Stella's (the one on Sherbrook is the best) but isn't bad. I like the set-up and the big windows which let a lot of light in. It is very student-friendly and yet is filled with both students and adults.
What would I recommend from the menu?
Their soups are always good; my personal favorite is the almond chicken which they rarely serve, but it is delicious. The salads are okay - I have stopped ordering the caesar because it's a touch too garlicky, but my friends adore the house salad. I'll have to give that a try. They serve fresh bread with soups and salads which is always tasty and nicely presented. As for the main course, I have tried the provolone roast chicken sandwich, the chicken burger, the macaroni and cheese (a special), several things from the breakfast menu such as the waffle and the pancakes (I have a sweet tooth). Out of all of these, the roast chicken sandwich is my favorite - light, looks healthy, tastes delicious. The mac and cheese was very good as well and if it was offered as a special - and if I were there for dinner rather than for lunch, I wouldn't hesitate to order it again.
All in all, Stella's at Plug In is a very nice place to go eat. Again, not my favorite Stella's in the city - that would be the one on Sherbrook, but I am there almost every week. The staff are nice, the food is good, and I end my time there almost always getting one of their delicious London Fogs.
So yes, I would recommend this place.
Food with Nuance.. Decided to drop by with the family after a long day. Came in late around 8pm and found the place reasonably quiet and took the time to really give the menu a once over. The wife and I came for a date here once before and were really impressed with the service and the food and the eclectic shape and style of the restaurant.
This time I had the Cremini & Quinoa Burger with the soup, Mexican salsa. Vegetarian for a carnivore who has become disenchanted with beef lately. I was incredibly impressed how well the cremini mushroom was a foundation for the patty, it gave it an earthy body that was well met by a homemade salsa and arugula encased in fresh ciabatta. A genuine pleasure to eat. The salsa soup came with a warning that it was spicy. This of course was a sop to the under indulged palates of most north Americans who have never dared to eat SPICY food. The salsa soup was flavourful, and segued well with the burger.
The wife had the Sweet Prawn Curry with the Arugula Salad. I was almost jealous. I was worried it would be too sweet with the pineapple AND peach chutney AND red pepper AND red grapes AND caramelized onions, but the brown basmati rice was cooked properly and thus grounded the meal well, a pleasant sweet pitch right in to the glove of the senses of taste and smell.
Daughter had the Stella's Club Sandwich with a Caesar, fresh baked bread is always appreciated but the child found it a little dry until she was told to eat some well dressed salad with the sandwich and the two would equal out. The best compliment of a finicky 11 year old is a cleaned off plate, she only left a little salad, everything else was decimated.
This place continues to impress me. To be a honest critique though, I must admit that the tiny plastic water glasses kind of give an unnecessary cheap feel to the place. Mine was even cracked. The first time the wife's arugula salad came out it had to be sent back because it was overdressed. But service got full marks for making sure we were happy. Certainly not enough to deter us though, we WILL return, the menu is imaginative and there are many other things we are wanting to try. Good on ya, Stella's.
Breakfast is all day and very recommended! But... Chicken provolone sandwich was a bit on the small/boring/pricy side. Soup was very small. Good service. Bathrooms are far away.
MMMMMM!!!!!. Bright, airy, cheerful with huge corner windows that allow for great views of downtown, Stella's on Portage Avenue will put you in a good mood. Friends are hooked. Now I am hooked.
Three of us went on a Sunday afternoon, and were seated immediately. (They take reservations only at certain times of the day, but despite being busy, the wait time is short.)
The staff was genuinely friendly, helpful, and willing to make the orders just right.
Stella's is not just a breakfast/lunch place. There is a lot to choose from. You can get omelettes, and sandwiches, but you can also order meals, curries, chilis and amazing salads. Everything is carefully prepared, colourful, and delicious.
The food was great and beautifully presented, not to mention reasonably priced for the huge platefulls. Two of us had the curries. Both were very good, but the prawn was preferred to the chicken. The third had the veggie burger which was wonderful. The crunchy onions were a great additon. It was accompanied by a most delicious spinach salad, with an exceptionally tasty chutney dressing.
The only disappointment, was that we had no room for Stella's mouthwatering desserts!
Having been to two of the other Stella's, and like them a lot, I have to say that I enjoy this one the most, for its style, location, and food.
I plan on returning later this month with a few other friends. It's a great meeting place, where you can relax, enjoy a very good meal, catch up, and experience vicariously, the outside hustle and bustle of the big city.
I am a breakfast junky. When it comes to Stella's Cafe I will say one thing... They do not PLAY! The Mexican Breakfast smashes any other breakfast in the city. If your a fan of the Nook you will convert over.. I honestly can't believe how good it tastes...
The place looks great and the servers are always super nice.
As a fan of all the city's Stella's locations, I can say that this location measures up to the high standards of fresh, hearty and made-from-scratch. The service was attentive and the food served exactly to order, even with some special requests from both my fellow dinner and I.
Mexican Breakfast, you get me every time!. LOVE this restaurant (I've tried all locations and all produce consistent results!). It's delicious and healthy food. I absolutely LOVE the Mexican breakfast. The pancakes are so fluffy and delicious! And recently I tried the fish tacos - a MUST try! They are the BEST fish tacos I have had in Winnipeg...or ever! So yummy! Their house salad is so darn good, it's like crack! Oh, and their iced tea is delicious!
A damn fine breakfast and terrific view of the downtown in the fresh snow. I managed to even enjoy the fact that there was no meat in the plate.
Great atmosphere. Can I say how much I love the Buhler Centre at 460 Portage? It's a wonderful example of local philanthropy and great design that is helping to further revitalize our downtown and educate students. The Stella's Plug In location is a great fit here - bright, contemporary with touches of art that welcomes a diverse crowd. It's a tight space that's a little awkward due to the design of the building - sort of triangular. The menu is the same as it is at all locations with the all day breakfasts, sandwiches/salads and fuller entree meals. Due to its proximity to the U of W and offices, they have lunch wraps to go for $5.95 as well.
Arrived here just after the usual Sunday brunch rush but the place was still buzzing with diners though the line had died down by around 1:30 pm. Service was friendly and food was delivered pretty fast for a Sunday. This place is more like Stella's Grant as you sit down to order as opposed to ordering and paying first method at Osborne. I would opt to sit near the bright windows with the southern exposure if possible next time as the seating near the entrance has a chilly draft from the door and a loud and chilly vent above.
The homemade ice tea ($2.95) is the real deal and tastes delicious as its sweetened already. The veggie baked eggs ($8.95) are my fave though I just prefer spinach and cheese. Their menu version includes two eggs, spinach, mushrooms, & tomatoes baked with cheddar cheese and topped with salsa. It's also served with roasted potatoes, toast (go with their multigrain) and their famous Stella jam. It all tasted the way I remembered, solid breakfast made with fresh ingredients, delicious bread and perfectly sweetened jam. I really like the ambiance here so I will definitely be a Stella follower again.
Parking is decent if you can snag some of the free weekend & evening parking on the street behind the WAG or on Portage Ave. There's also paid parking available directly behind the Buhler Centre but the spots are super tight.
Yay. Always loved the food. Love the new location!
Yup, I love this place. We were on a hunt for a good meal downtown, and this place shone like a beacon. I've never had a bad experience here.
We've usually only gone for breakfast-- my usual is the Mexican breakfast, there's nothing like it. However this was an evening venture. We both had the sweet curry dish, and it definitely satisfied.
The servers all look like they want to be there; busy and committed. I love to get the sense that a business actually cares about the well-being of their workers, and I hope that's the case here, 'cause that's the vibe.
Our server for sure anticipated what we wanted, and took initiative to replace the garlic toast with some that wasn't burned before we had to ask.
My favourite beer-- Halfpints Bulldog-- was available in bottles. :)
Pretty decent first visit. I just went here last weekend for a quick lunch as we were passing through downtown. Stella's has long been on my list to try, and it just so happened that this new location hasn't suffered from the crazy wait times that the others do.
My meal of the quiche of the day (rosemary potato) and soup (rockin' Moroccan) was really nice, an inexpensive lunch at $9 on the light side of lunch fare. My partner ordered the garden burger, which was also quite good even if it was just a wee bit blander than she would have preferred.
Our server was really friendly and, in fact, when she was busy serving tables another girl came over to check on us and refill coffee and water. Now that's the right way to run a busy cafe!
The restaurant itself is quite nice. It's modern inside to match the aesthetic of the Buehler building, but not so modern that it's Spartan or cold. There's plenty of light from all around and over half the tables were bathed in sunlight - a nice touch that you don't often see.
I will definitely be going back. I was already eying up the plate of someone eating the Mexican Breakfast - that'll be my next order!
Yum!. As an out of towner, I like to visit a wide variety of restaurants as much as I can. I wanted to check out Stella's for the first time in a while as they have great food. However, I had a very tight schedule. Well, a friend of mine told me that they opened a location at the old United Army Surplus Sales location (now "The Plug" at University of Winnipeg).
I was very impressed with the atmosphere, very bright, clean, lots of room. However, it can get cramped as students line up to get their coffee and snacks before class, which confuses some people.
The staff is very friendly. I ordered their iced tea and their special, the beef burger. I loved it. As someone who grew up on a beef farm, I'm a burger simplest, I like burger, bun and maybe some ketchup. The burger arrived with a thick homemade bun, toasted! The patty was seasoned, juicy and tasty. I tasted a bit of garlic, but not sure if it was the burger patty or the bun as both the patty/bun had nice seasonings.
Alongside the burger, they served hash browns (which was a bit strange) and coleslaw. The hash browns were average, but I didn't have any coleslaw as I was too full.
In a little under a decade and a half, Stella’s Cafe and Bakery has gone from a trendy little cafe in Osborne Village to a powerhouse on the Winnipeg restaurant scene. The formula has been simple. Great, fresh food, with an emphasis on healthy options(fortunately they haven’t let the healthy bit ruin their desserts). Along with that they place a high value on good service. Despite all this, Stella’s hasn’t been all that high on my list of places to dine until quite recently. The biggest initial reason for the change on my part was the opening of the Buhler Centre. After that location had been open a few months I finally wandered in. Now, it’s one of my regular places to go to, both for the food and for the service. The Food: One of the first things I appreciated about Stella’s was that they have all-day breakfast available. A lot of the time when my work day ends shortly after noon, I’m still more for breakfast. If I’m really hungry I g
Well I'm glad I finally made it to Stella's Cafe because it was great. The food was delicious, the servers were all friendly, and the atmosphere in the restaurant was very relaxed. So if you haven't been to Stella's yet but you know that you really want to try it, don't be like me and just go for it, because I can guarantee it's going to be amazing.
As an pilot, I miss having the Stella’s at the airport, but happy to take the walk to this location when I’m staying in the city.
A nice cozy vibe in a lively location in Winnipeg. Friendly service and bottomless coffee compliments this eccentric but interesting menu with a very unique Salmon Eggs Benedict on the list. Hard not to return here for brunch every time!
10/10 food! Loved that they had vegan and plant based options the portions were large and we took some to go!
Our waitress was nice and attentive but lost a star for this experience:
Four plus wait staff congregated at a table near us and gossiped about other staff members, argued at a volume that we could hear the entire conversation loud and clear.
Bathrooms were in the building next to the restaurant which you had to be buzzed into
I love this place. The food is very delicious. Had Ratatouille here, it tastes great. Must visit place in Winnipeg.
