Alex and his staff are amazing, best food / best Italian food for 65kms. Reservations recommended as there are only 10 tables. Keep it up!
This was the best meal I’ve ever had in Canada. We were seated inside and knew the restaurant would have cottage charm. Next time I would request an outside table during the reservation process- which you definitely have to make! Tables were full on a Wednesday night. Expect to spend some time here. There is one owner operated chef and he is worth the wait!!!! It’s a real treat to watch him work in the open kitchen. A salad, two pasta dishes and two wines later we left in awe and I can’t believe how lucky this little community is to have such fresh, delicious and curated meals. The servers are sweet local ladies who make you feel comfortable. You do certainly pay a premium at this restaurant which will make it a special occasion place for us. I totally understand considering the delicious, fresh, superb high quality food that probably comes from Winnipeg and am not complaining. $90 plus tip and well worth the amazing evening. I see why people drive out from the city to eat here.
Went there last night. Drove from Winnipeg after looking at reviews,we thought we would give them a try. Our server was more than impressive. Started with the clam appetizer and it was AWESOME. Best i ever had and the garlic sauce was killer! Very fresh. I had the curry spaghetti w/lamb and it was over the top as was the Penne dish w/tomato sauce. We had a Caesar and a Cosmo and both were awesome. Awesome desert and Excellent coffee that we found out came from a local roaster in Winnipeg. I will be there on Monday ordering a few pounds. Sat facing Chef Alex doing his magic. GREAT overall experience.
Amazing restaurant north of Winnipeg in the small community of Winnipeg Beach. I have dined there twice in the past year; both times were outstanding. This time I had the curry spaghetti with lamb sausage, wow, simply excellent. The other dish was the pickeral fillets with shrimp lemon, again a lovely dish, the fish was lightly beaded and flavourful. The servers were knowledgeable and attentive. Nice to watch the chef making the dishes from your table. This restaurant is simply outstanding, make reservations.
Fabulous food everything on the menu is wonderful, bruschetta and ossa bucko is to die for. Great service friendly professional staff . Alex is amazing @
Fantastic. We've been there many times - as a couple or in a group - and it's always wonderful. The food is amazing, the atmosphere is charged and a terrific setting. Watching Alex in the kitchen when the packed is a bonus!

I don't really know where to start... WOW! Tonight was the first time I had ever eaten at Casa Bianca. We went for our anniversary, we walked in for our reservation at 530 and were seated right away, the server came over and introduced herself and gave us the specials. Her name was Joanna, she was super friendly and very knowledgeable but also didn't bombard us with being at the table. Having worked in the hospitality industry for many years, this is tough to find. We ordered the Caprese salad to start and let me tell you! I know my Caprese salad pretty well since I order them everywhere I go, this was the best one I had ever had. We both loved our pastas, my fiancé had the spaghetti alla scoglio and I had the linguine alla tuscana. Bother were amazing! The seafood was cooked perfectly, the sauce was delicious and the portions were just right. It's a little pricey but definitely worth the money to go have a great fresh meal. So fresh, chef Alex picks the herbs right there in the kitchen to make your meal!!! I would go back again and again and again. Great anniversary dinner!!
My husband and I first tried Casa Bianca for lunch and really enjoyed it, so we came back this past Friday for dinner. What a visit.
My husband tried the Pollo Paesano which is chicken and spicy sausage with fresh goat cheese, tomato sauce, vegetables and pasta. There was so much food his meal came on two plates. I tried it and it was wonderful. He really, really enjoyed it.
I tried one of the specials which was penne pasta in a butter sauce with shrimps, a large scallop and lobster tail. Tasting it was like hearing Luciano Pavarotti perform Nessun Dorma from Puccini's Turandot for the first time. Ecstasy for the senses. A couple lines translated to English are, "My secret is hidden within me. On your mouth I will tell it when the light shines." Such as it was with this dish. A delectable, sinful, exquisite secret.

A summer tradition we savour!. Casa Bianca made a great first impression on us during last year's beach vacation, and the restaurant's second impression on our recent visit (July 16/14) was even better. Although our reservation had been misplaced, our hostess apologized and quickly seated us at a table for two despite the place being quite busy. Service was friendly, prompt and courteous and the meal was simply heavenly. We had appetizers (the portobello mushroom with escargot for me and shrimp in a spicy tomato-based sauce for my bf) with a basket of bread to help us sop every last drop of deliciousness. We both ordered the special: a pasta pescatore with lobster tail, tender shrimp and buttery-soft scallops over penne: incredible. The sweet finale was sharing a slice of decadent, rich and moist chocolate cake. It's great to have a romantic and relaxed fine dining establishment to enjoy while staying nearby in Gimli, and we enjoy being able to watch Chef Alex and his team prepare the meals in the open kitchen. We will definitely look forward to continuing our tradition of "date night on vacation" at Casa Bianca next summer.
I did enjoy my meal how ever escargot was a tadd cool and capprise ensalata was not very nice compared to many others ive had in the past with the prices you would expect to have real shredded parm and possibly a nice olive oil and balsamic on hand to offer patrons
Best food bar none!. Alex and his staff make this a very pleasant experience. I could not think of a better evening then dinner at Casa and a walk on Winnipeg Beach Boardwalk and best of all....... probably the finest meal you will have eaten in this province!
