The love I have for this place is huge. Truly, what a great shop. I mean, I know all there is to know about sandwiches and these are the best. It's great the sandwiches are made here and not in China. They think I'm serious. They think I like these sandwiches, what a bunch of losers. Best sandwiches I've ever eaten. A wall should be built around this sandwich shop so it can be great again. It's always been great. What a bunch of losers.
My family stopped in yesterday for a bite to eat. The owner Shaun, gave my kids a bottle of water for free since they are an official cooling station and it was sweltering out. The food was delicious. I highly recommend the French Dip, Grilled Cheese, and Coney Dogs. The prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is friendly. Come to eat and stay to play a board game!
Cannot rave enough about this place! Not only was the food wonderful but the overall level of intelligence of the clientele and staff was outstanding. This was patently obvious from their extensive knowledge of current events, astute observations of sociopolitical issues and cogent arguments presented during any of the numerous engaging discussions I overheard while eating my sandwich. Plus, I assess people's IQs for a living so I know these things... Now, there was one exception, some sleazy looking loud-mouthed guy with orange skin and a horrible combover...complaining that this wall of chips wasn't high enough...
Let me tell you, this sandwich shop has a great thing going. It will make your head explode. I mean, this sandwich shop will make your world great again. What I'm saying is, this place is yuuuuge. My only complaint is that the sandwich I ordered was too big for my small hands to handle. Oh, and it should have been served with a nice heap of orange Cheetos on the side.
We stopped by, unaware of the whole Trump sandwich fiasco. It was a new sandwich shop and we wanted to try it. The conversation with the owner was great. The area is shared with a gaming company and is a wonderful environment for sitting down and relaxing. i did the jigsaw puzzle while waiting on my order. We had an awesome veggie sandwich with mac and cheese AND a Montreal Smoked meat with cole slaw. Really really good sandwiches. I am going back on Friday to pick up some sammies for lunch with a friend. Good Job.!

As an American who A. Does not support Trump, and B. Fell in love with Canada, particularly Ontario, years ago, I am proud to have the Windsor Sandwich Shop as my neighbor to the North.
Regarding the Trump sandwich, two comments.
I think the Russian dressing could have been hidden throughout the layers, with just bits peeking out, hinting that it might be there, but completely surprising you when you bite into it and HUGE gobs are forced down your throat.
An opportunity was missed by virtue of the fact that the the shop did not have to hand a can of fluorescent orange spray cheese to comb over a few wispy strands on top of the sandwich.
Otherwise, as The Donald would say, "They made a great sandwich. A perfect sandwich. Believe me, we could make a wall of these sandwiches to keep out the terrorists - because you know they don't eat bologna, not halal and all, and get Mexico to pay for it. After all, they send over their totilla chips, and not even their best chips, you know. These are the factory rejects, taking the place of hardworking American potato chips."

Easily the best sandwich shop in Windsor. Everything's fresh and the staff is phenomenal! Tip of he hat to the "Trump Sandwich" you really created something that represents the essence of our presidential candidate. I believe the sandwich resonates with a lot of people!

Amazing! Loved the food, love the concept and love the atmosphere. And my dog likes there hot dogs. :P
Shakes were very original and delicious sandwiches were fabulous and the staff were friendly. A gamers atmosphere with lots to do. I'm bringing my kid and we will return with our Pokmon cards to battle other patrons while eating lunch. Great overall experience
The best! Great food and the owner is very intelligent. Smart customers, too. Some people can't take a joke but we don't need them anyway! Awesome! You HAVE to eat here!
Great quality sandwiches and desserts. A nice place to hang out with friends. My favourite food item is the Turkey Pot sandwich.
I saw the article on cbc about his joke sandwich and how all the trolls came out and down rated his restaurant. I come to his Facebook and in true Canadian tradition everyone is rallying around and his review rate is great. I have not been to his restaurant, but i will be going tomorrow to try it out. All this positive over comes the haters, so proud to be Canadian right now.
I love a sandwich shop with a sense of humor, food and atmosphere is always more enjoyable when your amongst fun loving people.
