Review Terra Cotta Pizzeria - Windsor

First time visiting this place and it was great! We happened to visit on a Tuesday which they had a 2-4-1 special so it was great. Unfortunately I got a parking ticket 🥲 so it didn’t make a difference at the end. Anyways the ginger beer is great also. Service was also excellent! I’d highly recommend a visit.

Absolutely love this place! Been here many times for many years! Some of the greatest pizza in the city! Worth trying every pizza on the menu. Tuesdays is 2 for 1 day bring a friend! Great prices great food!

Always a good experience. Quality ingredients and some of the best pizza on the planet. Salads are always good too. They also have gluten free pizza. Beer, wine, and drinks are decent too.

Very cute restaurant in the downtown core. They have a patio. Pizzas are pretty good, but even better on Tuesday’s when they have a special. Cheese pizza is my favourite but I do recommend their La Blonde. Definitely check out this pizza place if your a local or from out of town.

Do NOT got to the restaurant to eat in on 2 for 1 Tuesdays. We didn't even know it was 2 for 1 night until we walked in and saw the chalk board by the door. Every table was full and in the 40 minutes we sat there only 1 table got their pizza. Maybe they should cater to the customers who make the effort to go to the restaurant but it seemed like priority was take-out. We asked Riley how much longer and when he said another 15 minutes we said to cancel our order. He went to the cooks to tell them and he pulled our order off the line with still about 8 tickets ahead ours. No meal is worth sitting for more than an hour waiting even if it is cheap.

Excellent wood oven pizza. Fresh ingredients. Our favourite pizza spot in Windsor...... update - 2 years later and these folks continue to produce the best Gourmet Pizza in Windsor. New patio allows us to dine in vs take out. Don't forget 2-4-1 Tuesdays!!!!!

First off, I’m a PizzaExpert on YT and did a video review on this pizza. Second, the pizza maker was eating when I arrived. He then when from eating to handling my pizza. Not cool. With that said, he then took exceptional care in dusting off (with a brush) the excess flour on the bottom. I’ve never seen this without asking for it. The pie: has VERY light sauce and sauce flavour. This does not detract from this great pizza. I don’t often say a pizza is very good let alone great, but it’s unique and well cared for. The cheese is spot on, slightly spiced, which is the overwhelming flavour. Crust is perfectly thin. See more in my video review on YT.

The place to go for a wood oven pizza in Windsor. I had the Calabrese and it was amazing.

We live across the street now and love this place. The gluten free dairy free is second to none (for my wife) and I really like the regular pizzas. Well worth it every week or so.

If you need dairy-free and/or gluten-free, this is the best pizza you will ever have. The people are super-nice, too.

I work at pushers barbershop and love coming here after a long day of cutting hair, the staff is so friendly and make me feel as though I'm family and of course they have the best pizza!! Thank you terra cotta!

I've visited this place many times in the past but just last night had a very bad experience that will stop me from going back again in the future. Myself and two others visited on 2-4-1 Tuesday and were willing to overlook the fact that our 3 pizzas took over 45 minutes to get. When they finally arrived at our table they were burnt as in the cheese was entirely brown on top and there was absolutely no "melty goodness" to be had. They were clearly overlooked. Upon telling the waitress this she briefly apologized and didn't seem to think much of it which was annoying considering everyone around us had normal, bubbly delicious looking pizza. The real fiasco started when we went to pay though since apparently dividing our 3 orders up was simply too difficult and we were required to split the bill in 3 even though one of us ordered wine and didn't want to force the others to split on that. The owner had nothing to say to us other than a generic apology and a quick reference to Windsor Independents award for best pizza which made me laugh. We suggested they visit Caboto Club for a REAL thin crust pizza and I suggest you do the same.

Visited the Terra Cotta for lunch today. Their thin crust, wood oven Pizza's are excellent. Fresh toppings and great prices always keep us coming back. Highly recommended !!!!

From the aroma, you're hooked. For the love of all things delicious, try the terra cotta salad. Follow with an amazing pie, and wash it down with either walkerville or craft heads brews.

Awesome pizza! Kinda sad that they did not have real breadsticks however. Nice server and bike visit for first time visiting Canada.

Nice thin crust, true Italian style. Really nicely done. Happy to have met the owner, a retired automotive engineer finding a second career doing something he loves, and it shows in the result. Worth a visit.

Great pizza - Strappatta. Four of us had 4 pizzas, 2 calzones, focaccia and bruschetta.

Loved the Ai Funghi Pizza. Very thin crust. Would definitely order again.

Great pizza. Went with 4 coworkers on 2-4-1 Tuesday. Our bills weren't able to be split, we were told to sort it out at cash. No clue how I ended up paying $25 for a $15 pizza, plus my $10.75 pizza (which was free under the 2-4-1 being the lesser of the amounts). Please consider splitting the bills for groups if you expect repeat business. Everything was great up until payment. We were all scammed and felt like a major inconvenience. If this isn't what you intended, please help your customers out with better bill management. We were raving about the service and food prior to going. Too bad we can't keep raving.

Great pizza tonite. Highly recommend. Great place for date night.

Tasted and consumed the Calzone Jeans. Had it without the tomato sauce and it was superb. Ratios were spot on. The artichokes in it were delicious - I've never had them in a calzone before, and will only want them in calzones from now on.

Fabulous food fabulous service. Atmosphere could be a little warmer!

Love love love this place... any "special" occasion we try to go. So delicious and their sauce is great. The staff is always welcoming!

Good food, the place just needs a good cleaning. Ohh and let's not forget service with a smile.
