Visited from Winnipeg, looking for a tapas place. Saw roast duck on the menu, came mainly for that. Chef John suggested several dishes, starting with the steak tartare, bacon-wrapped dates, pork belly (his take on the Filipino classic, Lechon kawali), the scallops, and of course, the duck. Expecting a lot, Chef John delivered. The scallops were the best I've tasted (all across Canada & US), simply pan fried with a perfect crust adorned with cumin and spices. The take on Lechon Kawali was succulent, and came with a vinegar-chile dip. Simply good. The roast duck was perfect, juicy with a corn-potato compote. The steak tartare was not your ordinary fare; on bread like a bruschetta, it had Korean flavours to complement the raw meat with a little heat. And for the bacon-wrapped dates, it was a good interpretation of the Spanish tapas, drizzled with a balsamic reduction. I ate it all. The ambience was perfect, the service, and the food are what you'd expect from one of Canada's top restaurants. This is Windsor's best kept secret!

First & foremost, make reservations!! The word is out and when we arrived for our 8pm reservation, the place was packed. We were a bit early so we sat in the lounge area for about 15 minutes and then we were seated in the rear of the restaurant at a high-top table which afforded us a clear view of the kitchen through a window. We were able to watch as all the wonderful dishes were put out for the waiters to pick up. Excellent martinis and good selection of wines to enjoy with your tasty meal. We began with P.E.I. oysters - YUM - great selection! My husband had the Sea Bass and I had the steak. Presentation was very pleasing and our taste buds were not disappointed. Our server, Scott, was so friendly and answered my questions thoroughly. There are so many choices on the menu, I can't wait to go back. Apparently there will be a change in the menu as they change with the seasons. We travel a lot and have eaten in some pretty special restaurants, F&B is right up there with the best!!
By far the best place I have ever eaten at, the cocktails and food is out of this world, they are masters at texture, flavour and presentation and their staff is the most attentive and caring team I’ve experienced anywhere. Been here 3 times with every time being excellent. Always recommend. Thanks guys!
This is a hidden gem for sure! Small and cosy which allows a more intimate relationship with your server and chefs. Bacon wrapped figs curry shrimp bone marrow and a lamb special-every dish with its own personality bursting with flavour! I can't say enough good things! We will definitely see you again !
First time at F&B last night and what a treat it was. My friend and I weren't sure what to get so Ryan and Jack made lovely recommendations for us. We tried the spicy chilli mussels, brussel sprouts, bacon wrapped dates, duck and the dessert which is a new creation daily. The sweet potato purple ice cream was to die for. Their food and drink creations are meticulously planned to give your taste buds a WOW sensation. I can't wait to go back. Best cosmo and brussel sprouts I've ever had. Again, we loved everything about this dining experience...YES it is an experience. Top-notch service, drinks and of course, food.

Wow, what an amazing night! From the unique cocktails, to the delicious food, to our attentive & knowledgeable server, everything was absolutely perfect. If you love good food, and are not afraid to try new things, this place is a must!! Thank you F&B for a memorable anniversary dinner �
What a fabulous place!!!! Love the sharing!!!!!!! Excellent staff and service.....Almost like I'm eating at home!!!! Oh yes make reservations as not to be disappointed!!!! What I love most about this place?......The menu changes every season so we are never bored!!!! Although honestly how could I ever be bored chatting with Tom and the chef (didn't get his name) co-owners of this wonderful establishment!!!!

Unusual and creative place with an interesting menu. My friends and I had a variety of dishes including oysters but what struck me the most was the duck ! Tender, tasty and well seasoned, an absolute delight !
The service was gallant and customers where also friendly.
The restaurant has a dark, cozy wine cellar like feel to it but I would add an outside terrasse so one could enjoy the warm summer air while tasting your fine fare and drink.
The food was beyond excellent. The Agnolotti is, hands down, the best dish I've had in Windsor/Essex. The Maple Sticky Toffee Pudding was also outstanding. The attentive, sociable staff and unique ambiance were an added bonus.
My cousins and I were delighted recently with our experience at F&B. The unique menu, efficient and friendly staff and cool atmosphere has made this a go to place for us! Loved the small plates and signature cocktails!
Truly a hidden gem, awesome selection of craft cocktails made by award winning bartenders and small plates with attention to detail to match. If you haven't been, you must!

Simply the best pizza we could have ever expected! We went into Walkerville Brewing Co and sat at the bar when Nicki highly recommended that we order some pizza from "next door." We couldn't resist after hearing her talk about it, she's a fantastic promoter :) Many thanks to George and Brian for their friendliness and hospitality, we appreciated the personal delivery to our table at Walkerville. We loved it so much that we made it our last stop before leaving town. Looking forward to our return trip to try more slices!
Awesome food. You’ll need to go a few times a year as food and beverage menus are seasonal.
*edit - this place is now a pizza place. Great taste and in the middle of the spectrum of your fancy - typical Windsor pizza

Great cocktails! Try the basil, peppercorn and egg white! They serve small plates so lots of fun trying different foods and sharing. Try the Brussels sprouts, octopus ceviche and bacon wrapped dates! It’s a tiny venue so make reservations or it’s very tough to get in. It’s down a few stairs. Jeff was our server and he is great! Fun atmosphere!
Very worth the money. The food, drinks And atmosphere were well worth it. We ordered many different things off the fall menu, our favourites were definitely the hot apple cider the charcuterie board, and the bacon wrapped dates. The wait staff was amazing, Travis and Tori. I will definitely be going back. My friend and I had an amazing time.
Great pizza! The presentation was also very nice. I like the vegetarian and vegan options. I will definitely order again.
