The Yukon is known historically for the gold rush but there is a jewel known as The Deli in Whitehorse. The food is hearty and sophisticated with a home style flair. They have an in house butcher shop that allows them to not only craft unique dishes but also provide meat that you can take home to enhance your own home cooking. The friendly and knowledgeable staff truly have a passion for food which comes through with every bite. Whether you are a local or traveler, a visit to this establishment is a must!!

My only complaint is that my puny, inadequate stomach of a mere mortal doesn't have the capacity to eat the amount of perogies that I desire to eat. In a perfect world I could eat perogies at the same rate that I breathe oxygen... but that's not your fault. It's mine, and I am working on that.
