If you are a fish and chip lover, walk straight past the other beachfront fish restaurants because this family run business for more than 35 years is BAR NONE the BEST fish and chip place on the White Rock beach! Amazing food, large portions, cod or halibut, the absolute BEST homemade tartar sauce and homemade fries I've ever tasted! Amazing!
Decided to try this over Moby Dick's over the weekend, no regrets. Best tartar sauce ever, huge portions and pleasant service. Minus half point because my dining partner felt a bit unwell after the meal though. Maybe a bit too greasy for them?
Generous fish portions perfect filet and lightly breaded. Ask for your French fries to be made crispy. What more can I say? Yes I'll go back again.

Best Fish n Chips in White Rock. Mike and family have been hosting for many years and have consistently had the best fries and halibut. Tasty, crispy, not too thick batter and crispy fires home made by their 100 year old grandma (not sure how old, but she's always there pressing the potatoes)

Simply the Best. Being originally from the UK we searched for many years for good Fish & Chips, Salty's, Docks, Moby Dick and many many others. Now we can stop, we never have Fish & Chips from anywhere else - Halibut & Chips is perfect - light crispy batter, superb white fish and the chips are the best. Why people would line up at Moby Dick next door and have greasy tasteless food I cannot understand. Just get past the outdoor facade and go inside - you won't find super decor but you will get a nice glass of wine or beer and the best Fish &Chips outside the UK!!!!!!!!!! Plus plenty of alternatives for the kiddies.
We had an excellent dinner here once we got by the huge lineup that Moby Dick's fish and chips. Coney Island seafood is right next door and we walked in and got a table right away. We had the halibut and chips and it was hot, fresh and fast to the table. Even the fries were cooked well they were crisp and not soggy. My niece had the chicken strips and she said they were excellent! The only negative was that they were out of wine.
Love the chicken strips. Not really a fish lover so I can not comment on it but that's not why i come here. I love a good chicken strip and this place has by far the best I think. They are large cuts of meat battered to perfection and covered with panko crumbs. Then fried just right not till the meat is tough and chewy but tender and soft by far my favourite of any restaurant.
Great fish and chips!! Be careful ordering more than 1 piece.. Potions are HUGE! love their tartar sauce too. Nice folks!
Fish and Chips. We skipped the line up at Moby Dick's and tried Coney instead. Good prices, large portions and great fish and chips! You can't go wrong with a combination like that. Grab a take out tray and enjoy your meal on the beach!
This is the best fish and chip place! Moby dick doesn't even compare to coney island. Portions are nice and big. I have cravings for this place all the time! Definately give this place a try.

This is my ATF Tar Tar sauce. I have tried many but nothing compares to it. Usually, I get this in a bowl because I use so much. It has plenty of dill ,creamy but little bit sour I liked their recipe better than others.
