Went to Cosmos after getting horrible service at the boathouse -( did not have my reservation & didn’t care).
My mom who is in a wheelchair and her 2 caregivers and myself did not have a reservation for Cosmos and although the restaurant was full , they managed to find us a table. The service was wonderful, the food was delicious and the male belly dancer was entertaining. I thanked the lady who is either the manager or owner. She really helped turn our night around !!! The staff at cosmos are professional, helpful & accommodating!
I am a resident of white Rock and try to support local restaurants and businesses. I am finding this a bit difficult because of poor service. However, I highly recommend Cosmos and have brought several of my family and friends to dine at the restaurant. Each time has been awesome!!!!

The team at Cosmos always goes go above and beyond for their customers. Last night (Remembrance Day) was another perfect example. I had booked a table for ten with Be-ah a few weeks ago. Once we arrived everything was pre-set and ready to go. The appetizers and main meal (platters) were perfect for this sort of occasion. The appetizer platters consisted of a tasty combination of Greek style meatballs, Saganaki, Triopita, Spanakopita, Humus and lots of lightly toasted pita bread. Cosmos was kind enough to accommodate my request for serving the main meal on platters which consisted of roast lamb and Moussaka along with rice, Greek style roast potatoes and fresh broccoli. So delicious and so much food !!! Having been in the same industry for many years, I find myself being quite particular as to where I go and what I recommend. Be-ah’s service was 5+ stars as was the delicious food their very competent kitchen produced. I highly recommend Cosmos for their consistent pride and attention to their customers. Well done…..I’ll be a “lifer” customer.
Lovely place on White Rock Beach with approved Greek food! I've been there several times and the service and food have always been great. They are accommodating to large groups and their servers are top notch! Very generous servings and the food is tasty and well prepared. All around a great stop for food in White Rock!
A great place to take the family or go as a large party. The food is consistently good and the portions are quite large. The desserts are exceptional. Perhaps the only thing that has changed over the years is the quality of service. It's not what it was and sometimes it takes a long time to get your meal. If you are in no rush however, it doesn't matter. Definitely recommend.
Great place to eat on the beach thats been around for ages. Cosmos has great authentic greek food and very loud but fun greek decor. If your not looking to spend too much, I'd recomend any of the souvlakis, especially the lamb souvlaki.
Enjoyable and authentic Greek food and personality on West Beach, and the friendliest staff. Equally charming interior in the winter or sunny terrace in the summer. 4.5 year after year.
Delicious unfussy food, the kleftiko is always divine. The calamari perfectly crisp. The retsina nice and cold. Sea air and friendly staff. Amazing value. A White Rock establishment.
Delicious food at a good value. Service can be a little slow, but the food is dependably tasty.
Weekends they have belly dance shows during dinner, which can be fun, especially as the White Rock strip doesn't have a tonne of excitement
Usually fairly quiet during the days as most people choose patios closer to the pier, so this is a great spot if you want to enjoy a meal and conversation during lunch.

They make the effort and it shows.. We have eaten here a few times and have almost always been impressed. There was one lunch where the moussaka was uncharacteristically so-so, but otherwise it is always a good place to eat. Last night we attended their New Year's Eve gala, and it was awesome. A great variety of food for the 5-course dinner, and all of it absolutely delicious! The place was packed and we really must commend the staff, all of whom worked their butts off to ensure that everyone was happy. The servers, bussers and all the staff smiled the whole time. A good band provided the dance music, though the dance floor was pretty small and therefore got very crowded. Great entertainment was also provided by Aziz, a male belly dancer who is found at Cosmos most Friday and Saturday evenings. Aziz is the first male belly dancer we have seen, and my wife and I agree he is also the best we have ever seen. Cold Henckel Trocken bubbly was provided at midnight and I think it fair to say everyone in the restaurant had a great time. The cost was $55 per person, and a well-deserved 18% gratuity was added to the bill (as stated on the tickets we bought a month previously).
LOVE LOVE this restaurant!!. I have been going to this restaurant for years. Yes, there have been a couple of times where the service was slow but they were either VERY busy or the girls were training. People should seriously put themselves in the shoes of the servers before they treat them so badly. I have never ever found the service to be anything less than friendly and very accomodating. The food is always amazing! So yes it is an unfortunate accident that this woman's niece had wine spilled on her head but come on, get a life! We are all human and we ALL have accidents! I actually laughed out loud when I read your comments. Ask yourself, did you enjoy the food and how was the overall experience with the service in the restaurant? MY overall rating for this restaurant is this...I LOVE IT!!! This is where my sons take me for Mother's Day and my birthday every year and this is where I go when I want to treat myself. Nuff' said? :) Way to go Cosmos!

Great Service!! Great Food!. Last Sunday my family and I came in for an early dinner. We ordered a wide range of appetizers and for dinner had the Roast Lamb, Seafood Souvlaki, and the Cosmos Platter. It was all so delicious, and mouth watering....highly recommend both dishes!!
The service was fantastic....we had a waitress named Kim who was at our beck and call throughout our visit. She was funny and made us laugh throughout the night. We will defiantly be back very soon.
Always great food and service. I can't believe this place doesn't have a way higher rating. My wife and I and family have been going to eat here for over 30 years. We've never had a bad experience or meal. I've recently been there twice in 2 weeks. Both times with over 5 people. Everyone loved their meal. The portions are large and done to perfection. The service was outstanding. The place was completely full and is one of the restaurants on the white rock strip that always has lots of people in it when others are deserted. If I had anything negative to say, it would be that the Calamari hasn't been as tender as it used to be. We've noticed this for a while since they stopped putting the tentacles in. Maybe a different supplier? Other than at we will continue to eat there and enjoy it. Cosmos is also one of the more reasonably priced restaurants on the strip.
Family Favourite & Kid Friendly. My family and I have been coming to Cosmos almost once every month! Everyone in my family loves the food here (I recommend the souvlaki and definitely their appetizers.) The atmosphere here is extremely kid friendly and my wife thinks the view is exceptional. The portions here are just alright, not too big or too small but definitely make you full. Cosmos is an exceptional place for Greek food and even though the price may be steep at times, I find that the view is worth every penny. Will be coming back next week!

Nice ambience. I just moved to White Rock and was craving roast lamb, decided to try this place on the beach. It was quite busy (sat night) but the hostess did her best to get us a table. Waited a few minutes to get a window table. We had ordered Kalamari as an appetizer, and garlic prawns, both were delicious! I got the roast lamb which was a really big portion, it was really tender and fell off the bone. My girlfriend ordered the moussaka (servers recommendation) which was to die for. Never tried it before. Will definitely be back.
It's good. Not spectacular but good. A little pricey... Unless you get the souvlaki. Friendly service... Alright food. Makes for a a good romantic date.
We decided to come in after walking the pier. It was raining, mid week at lunch so it wasn't very busy. We got our seats and the server came over right away. Both my friend and I ordered the roast lamb which could have been quicker, but our server did refill our drinks and brought us bread to pass the time. About 20 minutes later our meals came and they were quite good, but too big. She offered to wrap them up but it was mainly rice left so we said no. We ordered coffee and split a dessert called baklava, which my friend enjoyed but I found too sweet. Our bill was pretty reasonable for what we got. Overall a good experience, but I could see food taking a very long time at a busy dinner rush. The restaurant could use some updating as well.

Great food. This was my first Greek experience and I loved it! The food was excellent and the service was great with a memorable atmosphere. While we were reading the menu outside, a passerby commented on how he'd been returning to the restaurant for years and that we were in for a great time. His words didn't disappoint!
