Review Village Bake Shop - Whitby

The reason why I came here is to try their Apple fritters and is amazing! They taste so delicious and even have small chunks of apple cover in cinnamon inside. I recommend coming early, by 12pm is sold out.

Absolutely delicious ! Apple fritters are the best I’ve ever had. Love the classic donuts that they offer vanilla sprinkle, maple dip. Reasonable price and exceptional taste !

I have been a customer at the Village Bake Shop for two years now and I could not be more happy. The village bakery has so much to offer. They offer bakery products, grocery products, as well as deli products. Some bakery products they sell are cupcakes, cakes, brownies, tarts, pastries, donuts, pies, and my favourite is the apple fritters. The apple fritters are by far the best I’ve ever had. They have lots a real and delicious apples inside. The texture is soft inside, but has a nice and crunchy, sugar coated, exterior. The other bakery items come in lots of flavours, colours, and sizes. The variety is astounding. Furthermore, the environment inside the Village Bake Shop is very enjoyable. All the customers are beyond nice, and the employees offer great customer service. Everyone is so eager to help you, and it feels like a small town store inside. To wrap this up, I have no complaints whatsoever, and would definitely recommend visiting the Village Bake Shop the next time your in Whitby.

Family owned bakery! Wide variety of pastries to choose from. Their apple fritters are to die for and are usually sold out by noon.

Amazing selection of fresh baked goods. We got two of the Long John's (cream filled eclairs). There are two varieties. One was the chocolate covered and the other had a dusting of powdered sugar. The chocolate covered version was made with a very smooth chocolate ganache and real whipped cream filling. Both were delicious. Highly recommended.

Stopped by Cory's Village Bake shop...again......today for deli meats and their sausage rolls. Amazing how many times I go in and get served by Cory himself. Cory and his brother do an amazing job running their family business and never disappoint with their service and their incredible products. Bought my youngest daughter's birthday cake their last month - straight out of the cabinet because I forgot to order ahead and it was amazing! Being of british decent, I love that they carry authentic british chocolate. Can't say enough about their sourdough bread or all of their incredible pastries, bars, squares, etc. Cory, you guys do it old style with exceptional customer service - all of your staff give the same incredible customer service that you do.

Not only does the bake shop have unique Dutch products including foods and gifts that are good to try but the bakery foods are by far the very best we have ever tasted. Cory and his team also provide OUTDTANDING customer service with smiles on their faces all the time. If you are looking for a great Bakery to try, do yourself a favour,stop in and try this place out you will not be disappointed!!

I order all my cakes from here. Their prices are reasonable and their cakes are amazing (especially the chocolate caramel). The staff is so friendly, polite and kind. Definitely the place to go for cakes deserts and so much more.

A great place to get lunch, treats and more! I can't show up at home without something from the wide selection of baked goods. Gingerbread men, empire cookies,fritters,brownies! The list goes on. Customer service at its best!

A lot more to this store than you'd think! Tons of European gifts and unique food! And a great lunch destination, sat on the patio enjoying a freshly made rare roast beef sandwich on freshly baked bread!! Mmmm!

Was there for the first time yesterday and it is amazing! So much yummy stuff! Bought myself a mocha log cake and it brought back so many childhood memories that I cried. The staff were absolutely lovely, I can't wait to go back.

Best Bake Shop in Whitby. They have the best deserts. On the down side is they don't have a back door where I can enter.

My first time here today: had a great time looking around and bought some outstanding treats! The customers were super friendly and the staff were extremely helpful. Wish I lived closer but I have a friend nearby and she will definitely be picking up stuff for me in the future!

Their food is so good and everything is priced so well! It's good to go there to get a few groceries or just get a sandwich with soup or salad. I could eat here everyday!

I love this shop!! Apart from all the wonderful Dutch goods they also have a great stock of British goods as well. Jams, Cadbury's Chocolate, pickles, and even Mushy Peas!!! The Long Johns are the best and the Jelly Donuts are just like the ones we had as kids in the U.K. The Staff are the best! Always helpful and welcoming. Going to the Village Bake Shop is a great experience and the prices are reasonable too!

Looking for Dutch groceries, this is the place to go in Durham region.

I work in the plaza and often go into this bakery (whitby location). The staff are always so happy and friendly! I love that I can run in and order a homemade sandwich with such a great fresh variety of meats, cheeses and other toppings to chose from. The desserts are so good I can't ever leave without getting one :) keep up the fantastic work!!
