Durham has some great restaurants and this is definitely one of the best. I love their menu as it changes frequently, there is always something to look forward to.
The Beef Cannelloni was amazing! Every bite was fabulous. The staff is also incredible, very friendly!

An amazing experience as usual!
This used to be our favourite restaurant, when we lived in Durham region. We moved 6 years ago and haven't been back since. Today we made the 2 hour trip and met up with friends for lunch.
Great staff, great menu, service was excellent, tremendous wine list. The food was fantastic as always!
We highly recommend KB for lunch, dinner, date night, and special occasions.

KB is actually one of my favourite restaurants in downtown Whitby. We got the crab cakes for our first appetizer and it was absolutely delicious. We also got a second appetizer: Steak Tartare which was absolutely made to perfection. The portions are great and the prices are very fair. The customer service is also fantastic.

This was an absolute perfect evening! The duck and rabbit were delicious, so tender and had bold savoury flavour. I couldn’t believe how tender the rabbit was!
The staff here work so hard to keep everyone happy and served quickly. Our waitress did a phenomenal job through the busy hours.
The best part, was the dessert! Absolute best dessert I’ve have in my whole life, I couldn’t have been happier 💕

Amazing food and service. The have organic vegetable that they grow in their own garden. Also like to mention that their menu changes all the time according to the host. Only thing that bothered me was a fly was flying around and the place little dark.

We were there for a girlfriends birthday dinner. There were 12 if us! That is never easy to accommodate anywhere. Our server made sure our drinks and water were topped up and the food all came together for everyone! Wow! Quite a feat. The food was amazing. I could hear people around the table saying literally O M G sooo good! Then the desserts! Amazing. Every one of them. I would definitely recommend KB to anyone who enjoyed a relaxing environment and high quality food and service. 👍👍

The food was good, but not spectacular, the server was nice but the service was so slow!! 2.5 hours for a pretty basic dinner left me feeling meh. We ordered a bottle of wine which was gone before dinner and no ask of more wine or more water until we flagged down the server to ask for at least more water. Pricey, better places for less ..

We decided on dinner at kb upon the recommendation from friends...the service and quality of food was beyond our expectations! We especially enjoyed the appetizers - shrimp, oysters, risotto, and steak tartare. I particularly loved the hanger steak entree, done to perfection. The dessert tray which followed was amazing (creme brûlée, sticky pudding, chocolate torte). Our attentive and knowledgeable server made the overall dining experience one to remember. Would only suggest a greater selection on the wine list. We will definitely be returning!

Took my boyfriend to KB to celebrate for his birthday last night. This was our first experience and it won't be our last. Worth the drive from Markham!!! I had the duck, he had the mixed grill. We started with beets, soup and he had the marrow followed by the sherry luge. Such a fun appi!!!!! Our server was awesome and the manager was on it!! Such a great dinner, great staff and fun environment. We've already bragged to our friends and will be recommending to others. Look forward to our next visit!

I've never tasted food like this before... The Arancini was amazing and the flatiron steak melted in my mouth. The flavours were so intricate and involved. Who knew beets could taste so good!? I can't wait to try everything on the menu!

We LOVE this restaurant. The atmosphere, service and food are all amazing. We especially enjoy attending the cooking classes that occur one Monday of each month. Learning how to shop for, prepare and cook ingredients from the knowledgeable chef Kevin Brown has definitely helped elevate our culinary experience at home too. I also really enjoy learning how wine is paired with each course. This restaurant always has new and creative dishes & some good ole favourites too. It is a must try if you are downtown and hungry!
