Always excellent! In all my food reviews I have to mention consistency because that's what makes me return again & again. Sue's has always been consistent in her fabulous fish & chips. She will definitely be missed when she closes at the end of August 😢.
Yum! Love their fish and chips, onion rings (!), popcorn style shrimp and lobster bisque. We often take advantage of the Tuesday special to save a few bucks. Also amazing to see a place run by most if not all women. 🫡 who run the world? 😘
The best seafood in town. The scallops and calamari along with the lobster bisque soup are my absolute favourites. They also have weekly specials. It's take out but they also can have your order delivered for $8 locally and $10-$12 for out of town.
Absolutely amazing... We Ordered Nova Scotia haddock. 2 one piece meals and the quality of the fish and chips was next level.
By far the best fish and chips we have order in Niagara. The restaurant is absolutely impeccably clean and organized and the staff was so friendly and outgoing. This is from now on going to be our family's go to spot.
Best fish in Welland. And I have tried them all! So good. Crispy hand battered battered authentic fish and chips. Made with really good product. They also have lobster bisque, side salads,cole slaw, sweet potatoe and regular fries and alot of other really good stuff. Sue the owner is so sweet and greets her customers from the fryer just so they know she appreciates and loves seeing them. All the ladies in the front on cash are just so sweet. If your a regular than you know what I mean when I say I feel so loved going there! They all say Hi amber! And gladly come out to the car to bring the order to me if I am not inside when it's ready.❤️ A true Welland gem❤️ Sues family has been serving fish in this area for many years and in many locations. And they have perfected it! I am drooling as I speak of this place ❤️
My #1 favourite fish and chips in all of Niagara region !! Wherever you are it’s worth the trip 24/7 any day fi the week ! My fav is 6 piece Nova Scotia haddock with large waffle fries mhmmmmm

I absolutely loves Sues Seafood, the best by far, only problem no more dine in so far, living in Niagara On The Lake, I’m forced to eat in the car ( no fun Sue), will be back when weather permits eating at picnic table. Miss my Fish & Chips

I was driving by Clare street on a delivery and noticed the seafood sign. Decided to google search the place to see if it was a restaurant or an establishment that sells fresh seafood. Saw the reviews and menu on their site. And had to call to pick up a one piece haddock dinner. I must say I was impressed at the size fish and portion of fries I got. Well worth the price and the taste by far best in town. Service with a smile and the lady at the counter was very pleasant. I’ll be back to try the Alaskan halibut dinner and their many other entrees next time I’m in the area.
Fish is always fresh and cooked to perfection. Prices are reasonable based on the quality of the food.
We LOVE Sue's. It is the best fish and chips around by far. The crab cakes are to die for, the tartar sauce is amazing, and the seafood chowder is my absolute fav. It is slightly more expensive than other fish and chips joints, but the quality is so far beyond other places that you know your getting the best bang for your buck. Go there. You'll get it.
First time ordering, the lady was so nice on the phone (I don’t know if it was Sue 😄), helpful and easy to understand, and when I got there to pick it up, it’s not sitting under a heat lamp, she packaged it all up right in front of me, so it was hot and fresh. Home made tartar sauce is very unique and delicious. Not greasy, and just overall, I think this was one of the best fish & chips I’ve had.
New to Welland and looked at reviews to find good fish and chips. Choose Sue’s seafood from all the good reviews. Did not disappoint! Halibut dinner was fantastic. Nice light batter and fish portion was a good size. Will definitely return
Great fish and chips, absolutely classic and delicious. Sue is super nice and all prices are affordable, will be back next time I’m around and hopefully dine in is back soon

I had the 1 piece Haddock and Chips with a side of coleslaw and macaroni salad for takeout, and it was A M A Z I N G ! Would definitley recommend this place if your looking for great Fish and Chips for a good price!!!
