Review A&w - Waterloo

New build with lots of seating options and cooked to order foods (breakfast or burger). Crews are super friendly and aim to please every customer. I truly like the hand wash stations tucked right beside the condiment station to ensure everyone is clean when enjoying their food. Their coffee is also organic and fair trade with free refills. Appreciate they have the option of using a real mug to enjoy the black nectar of the gods while enjoying the nibbles. Will return for future test runs of other products

If everything cost $1 or $2 less I'd be here every week. The food is genuinely delicious, and the location/service is pretty good too. It's just hard to justify $20 on fast food all the time... but while you're in the plaza and looking for a breakfast it's certainly better than Symposium.

These guys always has my orders done on time and the food is amazing quality here, I appreciate their services and will definitely be coming back more often as their new regular. 10/10 service as well

Eat here frequently since opening. Tried the Nashville Hot chicken sandwich today. Limited time. Was pretty good. Comfortable heat with sweet pickles. Pretty big chunk of chicken (bigger than bun). Nice white meat.

Was excited to see that there’s a new A&W in town! Wasn’t too sure what to expect, being just another fast food place. But honestly this is probably the best A&W I’ve been to, I’ve visited many times since their opening. Their staff are all very friendly, every time I’m there, I was greeting properly. The restaurant itself is quite clean, the furniture are all very new. They also have a hand washing station, for you to clean your hands after your meal, and a drop off your dirty dishes section, which helps reduce waste and non-recyclable materials. The food had never been disappointing either, it’s always warm and freshly made, doesn’t seem like anything had been left sitting for a while at all. Not sure what else I have to say about this place, but I think A&W might be my top choice for fast food these days.

Nice restaurant at prime locations and friendly staff. The Washroom is really in worse condition, Hope they will make sure it's clean for customers

Been to this location many times. Usually the service and quality are excellent compared to many other fast food outlets. Went from a 5 rating to a 4 from me after a bad breakfast on june 28th at 7am. The A/C left the dining room so cold I had to eat outside. The hashbrown was cold and a long dark hair was on my toast. Overall the location has got me enjoying a&w whereas I never really went there before but they really dropped the ball on my last visit. Hopefully no more experiences like that one in the future. We frequent this restaurant and love to dine in on the weekends for breakfast. The customer service that we receive - especially from Limcy is quite extraordinary. She is always quite pleasant and patient when we have so many questions. To be frank she makes our experience there worth coming in for!!!

Very nice A&W! The restaurant was very clean, staff were friendly and the dining area is modern. Cushioned booth seating was nice. Favourite part was the beautiful hand-washing/condiment station - great for families and anyone else.

Food was fresh and service was good. However, the restaurant floor was dirty and the garbage cans were full, so we had to leave our trays on the counter next to the garbage bins. Also it would be great if they had coupons for the beyond meat options. Not fair for those who want to eat healthier.

I recently visited Waterloo and stopped by this A&W restaurant. By far, the best service I have received at any A&W in Ontario or western Canada. Staff seemed well trained, professional and courteous. Restaurant looked sparkling clean. I hope other locations can take some inspiration and step up their game. Definitely coming back here next time I am in Waterloo. Thumbs up.
