The barman was the funniest guy in the world! You even can bring your snacks with you!! I just had the best example ever... Definitely will check it out again.
This bar right here. Awesome service and reasonable drink prices. Best student bar in the city and it's not even close. Kick Off is a lifestyle.
This is a small place with a casual friendly atmosphere. Always a sport on the TV and you can play foosball for 50cents. the beers on tap are always changing and I'm told it's a great selection but I cant drink beer, luckily theres always a cider on tap too so don't feel like you can't come here if you don't drink beer. Friendly guy who works there too who gets to know more frequent customers.

I've been a near weekly regular for years.
This is the most unpretentious atmosphere to savour excellent draft beer - both craft brews and bigger names from around the world. The place pretends to be a sports bar with a big ol' soccer ball on the door; when there are big games on you can watch them - but it's really a peaceful scotch and beer bar tucked away between a couple of university campuses. If you want to try a scotch or beer variety you have never heard of before you will be able to do that here.
Bill is the best bartender ever! I went here every week for almost my entire undergrad, and I would go back to Waterloo just to visit KO and Bill. The beer selection is unparalleled, with rotating taps, and a fridge selection that puts the LCBO to shame. The atmosphere is great, with that hole in the wall, everyone knows each other, Cheers sort of feeling. Just be prepared that Bill may spontaneously start yelling at people, it's just his thing.
Best beer selection in town. Just have your ducks in a row when ordering this is no place for shinanigans. Also great for catching any major sports event. You can bring your own food in too!
This is a great place, with great atmosphere. We love to go to Kickoffs both Troy and Bill are great to talk to. This is also the best place in the tri-city area to try out a new scotch...too bad there are no more red cards on the wall...
Best beer bar in town: no attitude, no posing...just knowledgeable servers who will tell you what a given beer on the list is, and what it tastes like, plus they'll give tastings so you don't choose wrong. Don't go to the Bent Elbow...go to Kick-Off.
