I love coming to Foodie Fruitie. The prices and food are so worth the drive. I love the cheese wontons, scallops, torched sushi, soups and rice bowls. I've been so many times and still haven't tried everything yet.

Great place to grab Japanese cuisine. The food was delicious and the portion sizes are large as well. It is the best bang for the buck Japanese cuisine place. I ordered the Octopus balls and Crab Salad both were amazing. The staff is very cordial as well.

Both their dine in and take out is decent. The food tastes more modern and non-traditional. If you are looking for more authentic asian food this isn't for you but they offer a lot of variety, japanese, korean, chinese, and everything tastes fine

Easily the best value food in the entire UW plaza with the lowest price inflation since Covid. The food is pretty good and portions are generous.

A few weeks ago, we went out for a meal to celebrate hitting 1k on EatInOntario ~ We chose to try some Japanese food cause it's been a while since we've had it. Foodie Fruitie is definitely a hidden gem near campus! From their wide assortment of pan-fusion Asian cuisine to their reasonably priced menu, Foodie Fruitie is definitely a must-visit if you're ever in the mood for a late night snack or a yummy meal off-campus! We ordered some takoyaki (Japanese Style Octopus Ball) along with chicken teriyaki skewers~ For our main dishes we ordered some spicy chicken donburi along with a chicken teriyaki bento. Overall, the food was absolutely amazing! Our favourite dish was the takoyaki, it was made to perfection with its crunchy shell and creamy octopus filling~ If you're ever looking for a casual place, to dine with friends that's not too expensive but still has amazing food with good portions, do check out Foodie Fruitie 原味 !
