Sweet & Savoury has an excellent selection of pot pies and tarts. They cover the classics (and do them very well) like Chicken pot pie, and also have some very creative flavours like butter chicken (and many others but I'll let you explore for yourself!). Check them out if you haven't been yet!
Amazing apple pie and it’s so sweet that they can customize writing to the pies. I opted to not have any artificial flowers but they do have that options.
Since relocating, I've been on the search for a local bakery that makes fresh, hearty, savory meat pies. Thankfully there's @justlovepie not too far away that bakes the freshest, flakiest sweet AND savory pies each morning that satisfies the cravings and makes you all warm and happy inside 😄🥧

😲 What an experience I had at "Sweet and Savory".....from the moment I walk in I was greeted with enthusiam and kindness, it was awesome!! The young lady working, I believe her name was Maddie, was quick to welcome me and helped order and suggested some option as well........I walked out of there with two pies ordered!!! ......I only walked in for one little treat...lol....anyways...great place, fantastic pies and amazing staff......Thank you for the warm welcome!! Made my day.
At first I was skeptical when my girlfriend walked out of this store with a $22 jerk chicken pie. "that's a bit $$ for a store bought cold pie, no?"
The moment we started to realize this might be worth the money was when she tasted a part of the crust that broke off during oven to table transfer. Buttery and flakey (and a bit sweet) crust and despite the pie being a bit thinly loaded (around 2" deep) total, the filling was a well cooked, well seasoned, and as one employee advised, "kinda spicy". We ate much more of the pie than we would have predicted
This would be a 5 star review instead of 4 if that pie was a bit more flavorful (more spices, could be more spicy too) and $17

I can't say enough good things about this place. The sweet pies and tarts that I have tried have all been fantastic (key lime, lemon raspberry, peach pies, skor and plain butter tarts, apple caramel and chocolate fudge brownie tarts). The prices are very reasonable and the staff is friendly and helpful.
They also have a family dinner deal, which is excellent value above the already great prices, where you get a meat pie, a salad, and four tarts. We had the steak and mushroom pie and a pear walnut salad. The pastry was flaky, the meat tender and full of flavour, and the salad was made to order (not sitting pre-made) with fresh produce and generous toppings.
My kids both love pies and tarts as much as I do and they always ask for pies for their birthdays rather than cakes (why wouldn't you???). This is our go to place. So if you're looking for top notch quality pies, spending the little extra and passing over the grocery store bakery is absolutely worth it here. Highly recommended and I can't wait to return to try all the other flavours. If you're set on a particular kind, just don't forget to call and order ahead.

Last night we indulged in the Steak and Kidney pie and the flavour reminded me of the same pie my Nana used to make. Such a treat!
I used to get the lunch special at the old location and missed it. Today at the new Uptown location we got the chicken pot pie and a few small ones to have a taste test for dinner (and leftovers!). Everything was amazing! The Thai chicken was especially surprising with a nice bit of heat and loads of chicken. Flaky crust. So so good. Such a great new location too, friendly staff and easy to get to.
