Review Duke Of Wellington - Waterloo

Came here on Thursday night for live music and you can tell that the people working and coming here have a lot of history with the pub. At the same time, there were definitely newcomers like us and everyone was treated pleasantly with the friendliest staff you could find. The British Pub vibes were definitely there and their new location is promising with a dimly lit atmosphere. As for food, the scotch eggs with grainy mustard were delicious. Drinks were poured perfectly and we ended up staying longer than intended. We would definitely return here again as it would be a crime not to!

New location, updated interior, same great vibe. One of the few places you can get a Scottish breakfast but all the breakfast options are so good and reasonably priced. Enjoy the casual street view and super friendly service.

The new location looks great. They are building an outside patio. It's brighter inside too. We had Jackfruit tacos and Mac-n-Cheese - Excellent! Audrey provided awesome service. Thank you!

Tried the new location, spacious and easy to move around in. Beer is as good as always. Tattie Fritters are as exceptional as they were. Wander over to uptown and get reacquainted with a dolled up old friend in a new location. You won't be be disappointed, I wasn't.

Great pub in the Uptown area that features bar food with a British twist! This is a place to come with your “chaps” to drink stouts and eat apps. We got the sliders, poutine and order of nachos. Definitely way more food than needed for two people, suggest this order for a group of 3-4 people. The staff here are accommodating and bring food out relatively quick, I would come again with a group :)

My partner and I went for breakfast this morning and it was extremely well done! Everything was perfectly cooked. The potatoes and bacon were especially delicious! Generous portions and extremely affordable too. Would come here again for breakfast easily over other local places.

I am a regular at The Duke, I feel welcome every time. They have British fare on their menu & British beer on tap, you know it is real when Brit's are the regulars. Live Music every day to top it off. New location 100 King S. still uptown where they have been the stalwarts of good times in Waterloo. Pints Food & Fun !!!

Finally got a chance to check out the new place. Great place with a true pub feel. Music was good too! Lots of beers on tap. Staff are very friendly and welcomed us with open arms. Nacho's were yummy and a decent size for the small.
