Such a cute little cafe in uptown. The decor is very quaint with a European feel. The service was friendly and welcoming. Note that it is a smaller space in a building, so there may be limited space for bigger groups. You can choose from the food menu, but they also have desserts that you can order in the front. Tried the apple spice cake, chai latte and Toscanini panini - it had prosciutto, Brie cheese, fig spread and eggplants with a salad. The panini used focaccia bread and was a decent size, however the food and drinks was overpriced overall.

Went for lunch and had the Greek chicken salad wrap which was made fresh which was okay. Service was very slow in serving food. No menus you order from board on wall.

We visited this cafe on friday. Place and atmosphere was good, but was not impressed buy the food. We ordered coffee and tart. Coffee was too cold and not must taste, tart was dry and not great. Price Vs taste was not comparable. Prices were premium but quality of foodwas not great

Went in around 7pm on a Friday night. It was unfortunate for us that the wine bar should have….exactly 0 bottles of wine available. My friend enjoyed her sandwich but would have been better had our drinks been cold and if the available water had not been room temperature. Ladies who served us were very nice.

Very cute cafe and staff are friendly. Food took a little while to arrive but with the atmosphere we didn't mind too much. I got the chicken pesto panini and a London fog - I would come again.

I came here for lunch today and it's one of the best little cafes I've ever been to. I got the capicolla panini and it was so yummy! I love apple anything so I had to get a slice of apple cake and it was the best I've ever had - so fresh & moist - it was perfect! The prices are very reasonable too! Delicious food, great quality. Will definitely be back every time I'm in Waterloo.

Amazing cafe / brunch location. Quite niche. Good service, quiet clean atmosphere. Price is reasonable, the chai latte I had was good, didn’t enjoy the massive cakes on cinnamon powder, but overall pleasant breakfast experience

A hidden gem on King Street. Just the most adorablest cafe ever. Verdict: absolutely delicious!! I personally lovelovelove anything that includes baked apples, and this was no exception. They warmed it up for me and it was just delicious. The only thing missing was a side of vanilla ice cream.

I really appreciate Cafe 22 ’s consistent hours of 9am - 8pm six days a week. It is nice to be able to have lunch food for dinner! I will take a panini & salad over steak & potatoes any day.
