No, no, I’m not saying the place is great, but I am saying the place has one great sandwich, and that’s reason enough for me.
I really appreciate Cafe 22 ’s consistent hours of 9am - 8pm six days a week. It is nice to be able to have lunch food for dinner! I will take a panini & salad over steak & potatoes any day.
Went for lunch and had the Greek chicken salad wrap which was made fresh which was okay. Service was very slow in serving food. No menus you order from board on wall.
Cute atmosphere, decor, and vibes in uptown Waterloo with a lot of seating. Lots of coffee, tea, desserts and sandwich options.

Very cute cafe and staff are friendly. Food took a little while to arrive but with the atmosphere we didn't mind too much. I got the chicken pesto panini and a London fog - I would come again.
I came here for lunch today and it's one of the best little cafes I've ever been to. I got the capicolla panini and it was so yummy! I love apple anything so I had to get a slice of apple cake and it was the best I've ever had - so fresh & moist - it was perfect! The prices are very reasonable too! Delicious food, great quality. Will definitely be back every time I'm in Waterloo.
