Really love this place. I don't go often, but it's a rare gem especially so close to the WLU. I love the Thai menu and decor, it feels like you're somewhere else. You can't go wrong with anything from the menu and the service is always good. If you're in the mood for something a bit out there but incredibly delicious give it a try!
Wow!. Im not sure what took us so long to get to this restaurant, but consider us regulars now.
From the ambiance to the meals get ready to be wowed. This is truly a one of a kind experience that you should not miss!
The appetizers we chose were scrumptious and delightfully full of flavor.
The mains like mo brickman and bistick tandoori were delicious and large in portion! For those who eat vegetarian they have a separate menu for you that you will not be disappointed in.
Give it a shot...even if on the expensive side.
Outstanding Indonesian / Asian fusion cooking. Unique menu items, large portions, great service. A wonderful adventure in eating! Don't forget to wash it all down with a Singapore sling (shaken, not stirred).

Delicious - but too much!. Excellent food, charming service. But watch out for the ridiculously large portion size. We ordered one mixed plate of appetizers for two, intending to decide later what else to get... and we could not even finish that.
Only come here if you appreciate food.. This is not your typical asian joint. The food here is Polynesian Fusion and is quite complex. Outstanding as well. Easily the BEST place to eat in the area. Expensive but worth it. Take your wife here for Valentines or something. She will be impressed.
If you are a burger guy used to fast food, the flavours here will be lost one you. Stick to Harveys then. But if you truely appreciate amazing food that looks so good you don't want to eat it. Then this is the place for you.
Portions large, so go with 5 to 7 others and order a variety of dishes to share.
This is the best restaurant that I have eaten at in KW. The food is so layered with flavour and textures that it is truly art for your palate. Bravo Bhima's.
Unique Food. Great food, cool atmosphere. This place has won lots of awards for the food. Try the "brickman" ribs, they are excellent.
The service was good; quick, friendly and helpful. They have a very open concept and there is a bar encircling the kitchen that had a welcoming feel that made me feel as if I could just ask for a cocktail to sip while I watched them cook and they would not mind. Their menu is fun – it had cute quotes, and they describe their gado gado as being a “good old hippie Indonesian salad of unappreciated vegetables.” I like that. They make use of local meat and even Waterloo beer in some of their dishes. The location is bizarre though and if it didn’t have such a firm reputation I don’t really know how it would survive completely hidden by corrugated tin as it is.
Oddly enough, I found that the ice cream was the standout element for me - cinnamon and cardamom are a heady, sweet-spicy-earthy combination that I'd happily try again. But with at least four other homemade ice cream varieties offered at Bhima's, it might be a while...
Went with the family (7 ppl) for my brother’s birthday. Got the family style menu which included a nice variety of appetizers and then an absurd quantity of excellent entrees. The baby back ribs, rib eye and monkfish risotto were highlights. Good cocktails, very reasonable wine list, top notch service. This place is really great and I’ll happily come back again.
Has been a few years but was as great vas ever. Service was spot on. Made many adjustments to our meals to meet vegan and vegetarian standards with no issues at all.
Could use a sprucing up inside but after COVID who can afford it. Just happy it's open and still a great vapor to go. Nothing else like it around.
Went with my partner and 11 month old baby for our birthday dinner. The atmosphere, food, and service was incredible. Pam was looking after us and did an absolutely wonderful job. Can’t recommend this place enough.
Came here for a my girlfriend’s birthday last year (pre-covid) and the food did not disappoint. High quality ingredients with unique dishes and flavours. Food felt high-end with a very relaxed interior.
The customer service was excellent as well! We got our leftovers to-go and they packaged it in some tin foil that was beautifully wrapped in the shape of a swan.
Diverse menu with something for everyone. Large portions! Personally, I went for the Laotian tasting menu which provided an amazing range of flavour experiences. The flight of beers was also excellent. Our server (aka Ivan the Wonderful) was both attentive and helpful, further adding to our experience here. We look forward to eating here again in the future!
Fantastic establishment. You need to get a reservation because it gets absolutely packed. The service was amazing, very respectful and kind. Food, of course, was great as well. We didn't know what we were eating half the time but it tasted pretty darn amazing. I gave it four stars as opposed to five because I just don't think it's worth the price they're charging. For 4 people, it came to $300 (including tip). Food and service was great but the price was more of a novelty. Definitely worth trying once in your life.
