Poutine Shack - Wasaga Beach - Photo album

The awe & beauty of the park is unchanged with the roaring of the waves & protected sand dunes but sadly, the traffic, abundance of water sports & masses of tourists are somewhat of a draw back. Be prepared for lengthy line ups, crowded beaches & excessive noise. Limited amenities and park fees appl
This is a very sweet beach. Full of tourists from all parts of the world. This beach is different from other beaches around Toronto area. There are bars opposite the beach, my favorite is the beach bar. Parking could be difficult on very busy days but paid parking is available. There are alot of res
Enjoyed an early morning drive from Barrie. Found an empty but very scenic fresh water beach. Lovely colors and great photo-ops.
Amazing beach .... its crowded at the main area but near the houses its empty and enjoyable. If ur not going for a day trip then id recommend getting a decent cottage near the beach. Main area has washrooms and eating places etc ...
It's a nice beach for a day out. We visited with a group for friends and enjoyed a lot. It has shallow water for really long stretch. So it gives a pool type feeling and really good for bath and playing in the water during summer. Beach is also very long. It's on Huron and west facing so we can see
One of the cleanest beaches in Ontario. Decent picnic spot in the summers. The beach is not rocky, it is soft enough for long, sandy walks if you don't like to get your feet wet in the lake. Visit earlier in the day for a more peaceful experience.
Wasaga is a long beach, busy in summer and crowded, you could hear music from people who has it on beach, playing footbal, volleyball or any other games, there are also pubs, ice cream shops or shops with clothes to buy swimming suites, clothes, shorts, umbrelas etc. Parking is somewhere $20 per day
We took our dog along with us! Wasaga beach number 3 is the only dog beach. Pros of a dog beach: * Clean & Peaceful beach * Clean & smell free washroom * Perfect view of beach & mountain * You can BBQ * Free parking spots Cons: * No restaurants, shacks near by
Was here for July long weekend. Took a drive from Awenda provincial park to here for the day. This beach #1 was a great choice as it was not crowded like the public beach. Also the bonus was that out camping pass from Awenda get you in here without paying for parking. Make sure you tell them that if
Love this beautiful sandy beach. It can get really packed in summer but the water is almost Caribbean warm. The sand is a bit brown and the water is not as blue as many other beaches but the warmth of it and the surrounding restaurants make up for it.
Beautiful beach! I like this beach because it is clean and sandy. It's a good beach for kids as it is shallow for the first 20ft or so. There are many restaurants and shops along the beach path which makes it a good tourist attraction. Only complaint is parking is rather steep. I was only planning t
It is the best spot to enjoy the beautiful sunset. Just opening the trunk of the car, sitting on the edge and drinking ginger ale while watching the sunset is the best. I want to come every day.
Best beach in Ontario! Clean, beautiful sand. No garbage to be seen on the sand. Water is amazing.
Jeep fest was held for the first time in wasaga beach. A sold out event! Amazing 👏 turn out.
Beautiful Beach 🏖️ For Walking, Playing Frisbee, Volleyball & Eating Junk food 🥘.
It was beautiful to watch the sun set from the beach.
Best beach ever! Soft sand, shallow warm water and beautiful views. What more can I ask for? Parking space is ample and convenient, there different food and beach supplies shops around and during summer months, there's always some festival going on. Make sure you come in early on the weekend to get
Great place with nice sandy beach. The water is very muddy though when we went.
