Another reason to love Quebec! This is a fantastic, cozy, and cute restaurant in the beautiful town of Wakefield. The biggest highlight is the fish & chips. The fish is fresh and it is served with cabbage, fresh home fries and a delicious home-made tartar sauce. The vegan burger was absolutely brilliant. It was extremely flavourful. What made the 2 items even better was the hot sauce and I purchased a bottle of it to bring home.
The staff is extremely polite and courteous. In fact they suggested me to buy the sauce separately to avoid paying service charge on the bottle.

Delicious food. Friendly service. Great patio view of the lake. Beer and vinho Verde selections. Had pork belly on steamed bun, home made hummus and poke bowls. Relaxed and enjoyable vibe. Perfect place to eat delicious food. The shrimp ceviche was the only dish we wouldn't order again as it had lime and not much else going on in the dish. Went June 30 as a celebratory lunch. Definitely going back to Cafe Le Hibou.
You come to Wakefield for that cozy getaway feeling and Le Hibou is just what the doctor ordered. Delicious home made food and almost everything is locally grown. We got the French Onion soup and the chicken masala poutine.
Delicious and I can’t wait to come back in the summer when the patio is open and there’s live music!
This is our 5th time coming here and it's always amazing! The French soup is to die for!! We went back after lunch for seconds!!

Local food with big flavour. All the good was absolutely terrific and the staff was amazing. Would definitely return to get the butter chicken poutine and the cauli bites again. Fantastic.
It's a lovely place. My family and I came here for dinner. There was candles on each table and the atmosphere was great. I was entertained by all the owl decorations around the restaurant. The waiter was really easy going and funny. The hostess was also really friendly and was quick to bring my family and I to a table. The menu is small, but they cook the dishes well. 5 stars for me.
Nice place next to the lake. The service was good and the waiters are very friendly. I tried the fish and ships. The fish was small and the fries were most of the dish. The food quality is good I enjoyed my meal. The price is a bit on the high side 19$. I would go back for the whole experience
We've been dining at this restaurant since 2020 and we always had a great experience. The waitresses are always warm and tend to your needs without any delay. The food is amazing no matter what we order. It is so hard to get a good vegetarian dish but their beet burger is beyond awesome. Their fish and chips and calamari rings are our favorite!
