This is going to be my go-to Thai restaurant from now on. My husband and I went to Nohra this evening and from the beginning, service was excellent. The food is great as well. The best Thai iced tea I ever tried, well-seasoned pork belly with roasted vegetables. Crab meat cakes were just perfect! Inside is not very big but very nicely decorated and was cozy. Definitely recommend making reservation for dinner service as they are very popular. Free parking right in front of the restaurant is a huge plus compared to other Thai restaurants downtown.
We had phad see ewe and nassaman (?) beef short rib w chai ice tea. All of the dishes were so good and it was the best chai ice tea I had in Vancouver. Def must visit place. Server was lovely and we loved mango sticky rice even though it is not mango season.
The green curry and desserts we ordered are great. The ocean wise pawns are fresh and cooked just right. However, the stir fries and the rice noodles we ordered are not living up to our standards, the sauce is too salty and lack of the authenticity of Thai flavour. The “Thai spicy” is also not as spicy as a real Thai.
My husband and I were visiting Victoria for his birthday along with our newborn son. We called and were accommodated for a last minute reservation and assured it would be fine to bring our baby. Upon arrival the host advised that they had saved us a private room and given the warm temperature today, they had a fan running to keep the baby cool. Our little one was tired and a bit fussy but we were made to feel so welcome and the staff were so pleasant and brought dishes out quickly. While getting the mains, the chef and owner came out and asked if she could walk our son around while we enjoyed our meal. It was such a kind and communal gesture and we watched our son happily cling to her while she swayed him through the restaurant. We quickly finished our meal and learned that it is a beautiful warm gesture in Thailand to hold babies at dining places - something that isn’t common here but was so appreciated and made us feel showered in love and support as new parents. Not only was the service above and beyond but the food was truly phenomenal- we are foodies and every dish was authentic and delicious (spring rolls, chicken satay, crying tiger salad, khao soi and pad grapow). To top it off, she then sent us home with a incredible complementary chocolate cake with fresh mango when learning it was my husbands birthday. Cannot recommend enough.

Best food I’ve had. Owner awesome gave us a free dessert. Saw on Check News. Awesome service. Friendly people and in a charming area of Oak Bay. The food dishes are creative artistic and tasty. So happy to be there for our last meal out with our daughter. This was spectacular. Highly recommend.
Food was amazing, all the staff was incredibly friendly, it's a nice cozy place, the owner even came by to do a table check. Loved everything about it.
Love this coconut soup so much! It’s creamy and rich, but has a little lemon juice in there to balance the flavour to make it just right!
Really liked the papaya salad! The chicken was good but not really impressive.
Overall really good! Love the atmosphere there! The staff was really nice, great service. Probably the most fancy feeling Thai restaurant I ever been to in Victoria
Had a lovely patio dinner. Gorgeous crab cakes, flavourful dishes and super friendly service!
Best Thai food in town. Hands down. Portion sizes are good and it is best to share to enjoy all of the flavours. 5 levels of hot to keep anyone happy
What a great restaurant! We showed up without a reservation, but they were able to seat my wife and me. Eve was so excellent at serving us. The food was great with good size portions. We will definitely be going back!!
