Cute and lots to look at. You can browse all the stalls in about 15 min. So not super huge but a good look into the local market. Flowers, veggies, mushrooms, crafts, jams, Mexican food… a good variety! We had tamals which were yummy and well priced. Was cold the day we went but it’s worth checking out if you’re in the area.
Best place ever!
Best tacos and food.
Come and try it, excellent service and really really good and health food.
Thank you very much for everything.
See you soon.
Last day on vacation found this online and had lunch, bought a local t-shirt and noshed on some gluten-free pastries! Even found parking for a Sprinter van nearby. Clean site and friendly vendors, and busy but not crowded. Highly recommend, the produce and flowers in July were beautiful
My wife used to be the coordinator 15 years ago, I was there every week volunteering. I loved the market. It's changed and I don't know most of the vendors any more. I'm sure it's as good as it once was. A great mix of vendors, farmers and artisans. Good food.
This is the best markets in the region in my opinion! I have been to many other farmers market around Greater Victoria and in the Lower Mainland and a couple elsewhere in BC. Moss Street Market (spring/summer) has some of the best produces, handcrafted food and goods. There are two small playgrounds at the market/next to the market. The market also has a kids zone and live performances to keep everyone entertained.
We enjoyed gluten free pastries (yummy mini-donuts, brownies), fermented foods, fresh produce, and wonderful people. We will go repeatedly during our 3 month stay here!
Moss Street market is big & filled with organic local vegetables, interesting handcrafted items & street vendors. Very Fun place to be on Saturdays~
Lots of wonderful fresh fruits and vegetables, baking. Other vendors as well. Was a very busy place, but great way to spend a Saturday morning.
Lots of great shops to visit. I stopped by Grandma's Apothec to pick up some natural soaps and deodorants. Parking is scarce in the area and the residential street by the school is for residents, but you can park a few streets over and enjoy a nice walk past the lovely homes and enjoy the flowers as you walk over to the market.
Nice upscale local market with vendors selling a variety of good from garlic to jewelry. There are usually long lines for the fresh vegetables. I enjoy walking through the stalls during a nice sunny day. Live music adds a festive quality. My favourite snacks are the tamales. I think the market starts at 10 and end by 2 in the afternoon.
Great market. Cant believe it took me 10 yrs to get there and check in out
Was kind of disappointed after reading some reviews. I was looking for rhubarb and some fresh veggies beyond the standard cucumbers and kale, and there didn't seem to be much variety. Overall lots of vendors selling homemade trinkets and cute niche decor items. The local cider and gin distilleries were great to see along with the order online option. The entertainment was nice but could be improved with more food trucks to make it a lunch spot to meet friends.
Delightful assortment of vegetables, homemade items, chocolates, ciders, kombucha, and mushrooms 🍄
Great place for fresh grown veggies and other locally made home products
whole street is packed w lots of artists’ creations n super crowded!! fun to browse around 🌞
Many talented Artists from Forte Street to the Oceanfront. Also the Farmer's Market to browse.
Very cute market. Lovely drink tastings - great way to sample a wide variety of locally produced alcohol, including rare/seasonal items like pumpkin wine. Great gift options 😊!Good quality produce that is reasonably priced. Best pastries I’ve ever had in Victoria were found at this market. Salmon burgers are a must. Wonderful place to try new products and to support local vendors and producers.
Love this market! The highlight is Stark Raving bread!
