Absolutely delicious. Some of their signature rolls have great presentation. Their menu has changed a lot and been condensed over the past three years, but the quality of the food has been consistently high. The poke crispy rice is a favourite for our family.

Nice location in the heart of Cook st Village, small little Restuarant to dine in or take out. Food is very tasty and service is friendly. Prices are abit higher then others but worth it if you know what your ordering. Recommend

I ordered take out on my dinner break, and although the order did take some time, the staff were extremely friendly and apologetic. The wait was WELL worth it!! Absolutely delicious, fresh and exactly what I was craving.

This newish, small, unpretentious yet elegant Japanese sushi restaurant in Cook Street Village merits its very good ratings. Compared to many of its stodgier peers in Victoria, Sushi Jiro innovates here and there without sacrificing the basics. We tried a number of their signature dishes, including the scrumptious maguro crispy rice and the hearty miso nabe. Presentation was beautiful and taste and freshness were superb.

We had the agedashi, edamame, and Asian salad with some warm sake. They were all tasty and very satisfying especially the Asian salad with wild salmon. The salad had a miso dressing which tied the ingredients nicely together. I'll definitely return for more.

Every time we go to Sushi Jiro, I always think, "I really should write a review about how awesome this place is," and then (I'm ashamed to say) promptly forget to do this. But today, we had another amazing meal at Sushi Jiro... And finally, here's my review. I'd give them 100 stars if I could. The service, the cleanliness, the decor, plus the incredibly delicious, fresh menu makes this, to our whole family, the BEST Sushi Restaurant/experience in Victoria, bar none! I am so particular about the sushi I eat, and this did not disappoint. I had a delicious avocado tuna salad which was so fresh and good. Then we had the tuna with fried rice, as well as the salmon tempura roll. It was all delicious, and I appreciated the fusion of some of the dishes. We will definitely be eating there again.

What a great find! Everything was excellent, Wild Salmon Sashimi, yubu Inari, gyoza, poke crispy rice and a red wave roll. It was mid week and wasn't busy. We felt very well looked after. Thank you I'll definitely return on my next trip to Victoria.

Visiting from out of town and what a find! I had the Poke Crispy Rice, an amazing dish. Fresh fish, crunchy crispy rice and mango, so delicious! The bulgogi yubu inari were wonderful and tasty as well. A very busy server worked the restaurant efficiently and didn't forget a thing, smiling all the time. The Cook Street Village area is very nice and has some interesting shops to boot. We will be back!!
